Newsletter
Thank you for writing the newsletter, I really appreciate it. I was actually going to get to it tonight, but I guess I should have told someone. My classes have been really time-consuming right now, but it should be over in a few weeks once I graduate. I'm going to make a few minor updates and then I'll send it out using AWB, which shouldn't take too long (sometimes I like to beat Cbrown1023's bot to the punch). Anyway, thanks again for your hard work and let me know if you need help with anything. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 07:43, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Sha-Sanio
Hi Wildroot!
What do you think about Keanu Reeves in the upcoming film in the next weeks? He looks as sullen as ever and his hits are rather rarely. I'm a huge fan of Harrison Ford and I don't think that he can reach up to him. But on the other hand who can reach up to Harrison? However are you going to watch the movie? Some people have so much to do during the week and shopping at weekends that they hardly will find the time to watch it. Sha-Sanio (talk) 01:27, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Some friends of mine have mentioned that they want to go on Sunday because they have so much to do. What do you think about it? Sunday is family day it seems to me. Sha-Sanio (talk) 22:08, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
I'm really curious how some of them will get there, because on Sunday the buses are not going in Sweden and right now it's really cold outside. If you try and make an appointment, you can never know if somebody is going to show up because of the snow and the large distances. I'm sure it's different with you in Scotland, Wildroot. Sha-Sanio (talk) 00:31, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Hey Why have you deleted my interpretation? That's not fair. Just wanted to help you. Sha-Sanio (talk) 22:06, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Wildroot, I didn't know that you aren't interested in my interpretation. I'm sorry. I'm going to try other ways to express what I would like to say. Nevertheless I would like to help you with your articles. Just tell me how. I can only guess. Please use my talkpage. Thank you very much. Sha-Sanio (talk) 00:39, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Hello Wildroot,
I've found a beautiful site with Edward-pics. In case you will through out the link from your user page, I just wanted that you can take another look at it, outside of the article: http://minadream.com/timburton/EdwardScissorHandsGallery.htm Thanks and don't act so mad. Sha-Sanio (talk) 01:44, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi again there, well congratulations to your award. Nevertheless, I decided to watch the Home Alone movies in the evening today. Today is probably the last day when I can do that and I've seen some advertising for it on TV. Can you help me to find out if today is the day when they are going to show it on TV? Otherwise I would have to go out and borrow the DVD from somebody else. But today I'm so lazy with going out. Thank you. Sha-Sanio (talk) 11:27, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Wildroot, maybe you have already realized that I'm trying to help you with Edward. Unfortunately it's so cold in sweden, that I've got cold fingers and in addition it effects my internet connection too. It is so damn slow and keeps interrupting and I can only edit small articles at one time, with a limited amount of information. However what are your plans for today, are you going to work on Edward today? Thanks. Sha-Sanio (talk) 15:22, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Wildroot, I finally decided to go to the store and get the HomeAlone-DVD, because they won't show it on TV. For the next day I'll get another DVD, Edward Scissorhands, so that I can have another look at Edward, before I go on to help you with your article on Edward. So my weekend is full, I hope yours is, too, actually it seems so. Thank you. Sha-Sanio (talk) 19:02, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Wildroot,
have you already realized that The Dark Knight is going to be rereleased In January 2009? Well, Good news. I have written something about it, but for today I'm finished. I'm too tired to go on. Bye, Bye. Sha-Sanio (talk) 05:24, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Gold Reel
It is my honor, as the Lead Coordinator of WikiProject Films, to confer upon you the WikiProject Service Award, First Class - the Gold Reel. Awarded for your work on Batman (1989 film), a Wikipedia 0.7 article, which you brought from GA to A-class. Most gratefully, Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 03:45, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Stuff
So, what's up with the Edward rewrite? I notice you don't even list the GA article on your userpage. By the way, what do you think now you learn Alice in Wonderland uses live action, mo-cap, animation and stop-motion? I think it's great Burton's combining all his stuff together. Alientraveller (talk) 23:02, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- Glad to see you changed your mind. I mean I just don't get it when people say "I hate CGI!" considering 1) it's a tool, it can look good or bad and 2) people often mistake real or mixed stuff as just "CG" and often vice versa. Burton's always been quite traditional and his work on Alice sounds nowhere as complex as what Cameron is doing with the technology. Alientraveller (talk) 23:52, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Partnership
Hello Wildroot, I'm user:Jok3r from It.wikipedia; I saw your sandbox and I was in ecstasy seeing your work with Captain America. I'm also working on details of future film (The First Avenger:Captain America) and if you could collaborate together to help improve our work, good evening.--82.52.142.123 (talk) 21:15, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Merry Christmas!
Superman Returns
Someone got me the two-disc special edition of Superman Returns, which has way more stuff on it than my single disc copy, so I should (when I get the time) be able to pilfer all the info from that (which has stuff on creating Jor-El and designing Superman's costume). BIGNOLE (Contact me) 23:34, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for you message. If the issues are resolved (and no more new ones arise) in the next few dfays, I will pass the article as GA. --Philcha (talk) 08:44, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Re: The Frighteners
Sorry, I don't own it, I borrowed it once to write down info on two-part script of LOTR. I'll track it down soon for info on The Frighteners and his POTA script for you. Alientraveller (talk) 11:16, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Happy New Year!

Hi, I am reviewing your article, Ed Wood (film), for GA and have left a few comments at Talk:Ed Wood (film)/GA1. The article looks good but needs some minor copy editing. Do you mind if I do some of it myself rather than leave a list of minor issues? Let me know if you mind. I will like any problems I find on the review page. Please do not hesitate to contact me with comments or questions. Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 00:35, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- Regarding removing the reference from the article, I don't think you can have an ISBN in the body of the article. So that should be removed. I though a reference was one way of including it but perhaps you can put it under "Further reading" or something. —Mattisse (Talk) 21:49, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Possible Featured Topic
I noticed that Bryan Singer and his films would make a good Featured Topic. Singer's X-Men films are Good Articles thanks to you and Alientraveller, The Usual Suspects is a Good Article thanks to J.D., and Valkyrie is in good shape thanks to Alientraveller, me, and Steve. It looks like Superman Returns is being eyed by you and/or Bignole, so what's left are Apt Pupil and Bryan Singer himself. We don't have to start a drive at this moment or anything; just wanted to plant that FT possibility in your head for later on. :) —Erik (talk • contrib) 03:51, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Crusade
I will implement the Complete Making and the DVD tomorrow, ok? Thank you for shaking me out of apathy. Man, I burned myself out on Indy; hope it doesn't happen with my work on Star Trek this year. Often I just read sources and absorb too much information for myself. How do you do it? You're fantastic, you're the Usain Bolt of Wikipedia.

Blanking James Dean?
I saw that you blanked a page and immediately reverted it. I realize now that its in your own space. Feel free to undo my change if you intentionally blanked your page. Shubinator (talk) 06:44, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Willow GA
No problem. Great job on bringing up a lot of popular film articles up to GA! I agree with you too that their didn't need to be a soundtrack section. Now it just looks like a big clunky block thing in the middle of the article with barely any information about it. Ah well. Keep up the good work either way! Andrzejbanas (talk) 00:38, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I am reviewing your article, Unbreakable (film), for GA and have left some comments at Talk:Unbreakable (film)/GA1. On the whole, the article is very good, just some odd wording in places. Please feel free to contact me with questions or comments. Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 01:28, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Re: Supes
The simplest advice I can offer is to trust your common sense. You believe the old report don't you? Then you know exactly where to place the information. Alientraveller (talk) 23:22, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- Btw, the ongoing saga of the Siegels versus Time Warner yielded the release of all of the pre-Abrams script. http://uncivilsociety.org/2009_0105_wbexhibits_filmscripts.pdf Alientraveller (talk) 17:16, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I am reviewing your article James Dean (film) for GA and have left my initial comments at Talk:James Dean (film). I think the prose needs some work to become GA, as it is often clunky and, at times, ungrammatical. I did a little copy editing. Also, I will have to check out what the Wikipedia rules are for a biopic article. Anyway, feel free to provide me with any information I should know about biopics! Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 22:54, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
Back to the Future
Hi Wildroot, I've been working on the Back to the Future 2 and 3 recently and I would like to know what you think about it. Please take a look at the article and leave a message on my talkpage, if you like. Thank you.Sha-Sanio (talk) 05:24, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
Beyond the Sea
Hello, I hope you can work with LiteraryMaven without difficulty. Neither of you are out to cripple this article, so I encourage an exchange of dialogue to understand your differing perspectives. Look at each other's edits in its entirety without reverting so quickly. It helps to show that you accept some edits while you disagree with others, which you then discuss that difference on the talk page. —Erik (talk • contrib) 19:10, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

The Rocketeer
Hey, I'm Hunter. I've done a review for your GAC about The Rocketeer. Please take a look at my suggestions. Nice job! --Hunter Kahn (talk) 18:28, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- I also reviewed Beyond the Sea (film), which I didn't realize was one of yours until I was done. Take a look at those suggestions too. Thanks! --Hunter Kahn (talk) 05:01, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
- The Rocketeer has passed; congrats and nice work! Looking forward to passing Beyond the Sea as well, which I'm betting won't take long! --Hunter Kahn (talk) 06:19, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Beyond the Sea GAN?
Hey, it's Hunter. A week has gone by with nothing done to Beyond the Sea (film), and seven days is usually the amount of time after which GA reviewers fail a nom that remains inactive. I'd hate to do that in this case, I really think you could fix it up relatively quickly. Any plans to finish this up? --Hunter Kahn (talk) 06:59, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's fine. As long as I know you're still working on it. --Hunter Kahn (talk) 15:21, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Marvel Studios
Thanks, although Cap has his own media page and a more up-to-date version of the mini-article was there. I've redirected it. Thor doesn't, so thanks. Alientraveller (talk) 11:11, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's very short. Perhaps you could merge it to the Superman series: it was WB's first attempt to backstab Singer and reboot the series. Alientraveller (talk) 21:44, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

prodwarning for Paul Trejo
- Proposed deletion of Paul Trejo
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Paul Trejo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Not really notable. I can find no coverage in secondary sources that would explain why this person is notable. Merely working in the movie industry doesn't make it so.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Work on Contact (film)
Hi. I wrote the science/religion section myself but I was just discussing the film content rather than expressing any opinion, and I was quoting dialogue from the film and comments by the director to back up what I wrote so I didn't think there were any Original Research problems. I don't know if there's a correct procedure for citing film dialogue though so if you could help me out there I'd be grateful. Archiewood (talk) 11:26, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. I wanted to see some discussion about the ideas in the film and I hope others add more meat to it in time. I added a couple of citations for the commentary and the dialogue itself. Cheers.Archiewood (talk) 03:45, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Batman Cast
This is not useless as the casting talks about who was potentially going to be cast and how they got the job and it does not mention the full cast. Usually casting info goes under as part of production but it can have its own section if there is quite a bit of info. Its still good to have a serparte section directly above like I put it to let people know (who dont want to read who might have been cast) who is actually in the film. It doesnt hurt a thing being there so why delete it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by King Cobb (talk • contribs) 03:38, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
