Hey, thanks for letting me know you reverted my edit. I'm aware it's an RAF Regiment rank, but it's normally only capitalised when used as part of the name as in "Gunner Jo Smith". Apart from that, the military convention (known as "staff duties") and common press usage is to refer to ranks in lower case e.g. "a Royal Artillery major" or "a corporal in the Welsh Guards". Wikipedia seems to agree - see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (military ranks). --Bermicourt (talk) 20:15, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
No worries. I have a lot of respect for the RAF. Hope they find this young man, but it's not looking good. Per ardua ad astra. --Bermicourt (talk) 22:01, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
Hello, The joy of all things. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

I have noted you have reverted my revision for Tanfield (Masham branch). My amended citation correctly shows the source of information from the Disused Stations web site on Tanfield (not Tanfield Halt) station which the previous citation referred to Masham station. Secondly the RDT shows Tanfield Halt when the station was named Tanfield however I was unable to correct this.
Please reconsider and re-examine.Steamybrian2 (talk) 17:46, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
Steamybrian2 The issue was not on of the naming of Tanfield - I concur and after reverting your edit, I deleted 'Halt' from the name. My issue was that your edit summary listed it as a name change, but you also deleted most of a citation which made it a possible linkrot scenario and also another citation was linked into it which produced some very large red text with reference errors. The citation was about Masham station, but in its text it mentions Tanfield so the citation was correct. I understand what you were doing, but the page was not improved by your edit - I apologise if this aggrieves you, but the fact remains that the edit watered down one citation and made a second go into red text. I hope this explains things and I wish you well, please believe me when I say there is no intent to annoy or exasperate you. Regards. The joy of all things (talk) 18:35, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi, your welcome for thanking for my edits, as I see someone undid what I added to your article, and I hate it when that happens. How many articles have you written for list of people who mysteriously and disappeared and how long does it take you to right them?
Hi, I had to remove the info on Dorothy Forestein, because as you see an article on her does not currently exist, only people with articles can go on the list. I am planning to write more articles on missing people. How long does it take you to write an article about a missing person?
Would you like to write an article with me? That way we can get it done much quicker, I can supply the box and the page to write in on. Also I am currently writing an article about a 1984 missing person and it's almost done.
Hi Davidgoodheart and thanks for your message. First off, the Dorothy Forestein entry wasn't mine, I merely amended some grammatical errors; I didn't even recognize it was in red text! It takes me about two weeks to write an article because I spend so little time on Wikipedia, which means I have to politely decline your kind offer to work together as I just don't have the time to offer :( Additionally; if you added four tildes to the end of messages on talk pages you get a date, time and signature stamp. The four tildes look like this ~~~~ and you can see mine at the end of this message. Regards and thanks for the message. The joy of all things (talk) 08:27, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2017 Snowdonia helicopter crash until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Place list
This month I would like members to focus their attention on the List of places in Yorkshire article. It would be good that each time you look at an article on a place in Yorkshire that you also check if it is in the list article. You can easily get to the list article from a place article if it uses the {{Infobox UK place}} template as there is a link at the bottom of the template. If it is not present then add the appropriate link to the list.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited River Clun, Shropshire, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bullhead fish and Grayling (fish). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
