re: sources for Brian Joubert article
I noticed that you tagged this article as needing sources. Did you mean more in-line citations, or more sources in general?
Thanks.
--Lmblackjack21 15:03, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- Would you mind checking out the page now? I added some in-line citations.
Thanks again :) --Lmblackjack21 16:16, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
July 2007 GAC backlog elimination drive
A new elimination drive of the backlog at Wikipedia:Good article candidates will take place from the month of July through August 12, 2007. There are currently about 130 articles that need to be reviewed right now. If you are interested in helping with the drive, then please visit Wikipedia:Good article candidates backlog elimination drive and record the articles that you have reviewed. Awards will be given based on the number of reviews completed. Since the potential amount of reviewers may significantly increase, please make sure to add :{{GAReview}} underneath the article you are reviewing to ensure that only one person is reviewing each article. Additionally, the GA criteria may have been modified since your last review, so look over the criteria again to help you to determine if a candidate is GA-worthy. If you have any questions about this drive or the review process, leave a message on the drive's talk page. Please help to eradicate the backlog to cut down on the waiting time for articles to be reviewed.
You have received this message either due to your membership with WikiProject: Good Articles and/or your inclusion on the Wikipedia:Good article candidates/List of reviewers. --Nehrams2020 03:54, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Barnstar
I was just reading through that long moan of a discussion on the assessment drive page and read your comment at the end: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Biography/Assessment/Assessment Drive#Okay. So I'm having a rough week, well month, 2007 year, whatever (opinion). I thought what you wrote really spoke volumes about the whole point of the drive and heres a barnstar to say so.

Hi,
I was wondering if you would vote for this film as the next James Bond Collaboration at Wikipedia:WikiProject James Bond/Collaboration of the fortnight.
The film is increasingly viewed as an epic, comic, satire of the whole James Bond genre.
Thanks

Fair use rationale for Image:GT4_Formula_Gran_Turismo.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:GT4_Formula_Gran_Turismo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 17:13, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

End of WP:Bio assessment drive
I have reraised the issue (see towards the bottom) as to whether assessors should receive all the awards they qualify for or only the highest one. Your input is appreciated. BrokenSphereMsg me 15:18, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
I contacted the top 10 including Awadewit, who has 2,000 assessments. TBH I don't see any harm in dishing out multiple awards, especially since each 1,000 mark is a big milestone and should be recognized. Still waiting to see what other's take on this is. Hi Puff - Just wondering why you changed the Obama talk page from the small format and why you removed the People class designation? I don't really care that much either way, but I am curious why you changed it.
On an entirely different topic - I see you're a Bond expert - is it true that the Olsen twins are going to be the next Bond girls? This is not good news. Tvoz |talk 03:03, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, Daniel Craig is the best Bond in a long time so I'd hate to see them throw in those two girls - they look, and are, way too young, not to mention morbidly skinny and untalented. As you can see I have no opinion on the subject. Tvoz |talk 08:55, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello,
I'm a bit confused about your actions in Talk:Runescape, moving around the {{notaforum}} template and then including in {{talkheader}} template. I think these templates are almost the same to each other, and therefore, there shouldn't an absolute need to include {{talkheader}} to the talk page. ~Iceshark7 17:05, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- However, when you peek in Template:Notaforum, you will notice that {{notaforum}} was specifically made for purposes like Talk:Runescape used to have - to reduce the clutter of in-game chat being incorrectly posted into Wikipedia. {{talkheader}} is more suited for minority cases, and for semi-developing articles, rather than popular articles commonly misunderstood as a chat forum. ~Iceshark7 17:30, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Karamja.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Karamja.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:26, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Coordinator elections request
Hey...so it looks like we've thrown a party and gotten little response. I've consulted with User:Kirill Lokshin (created the Coordinator concept, originally for MilHist), and my proposal to keep interest in the election alive is to change the rules so as to allow self-noms to continue to be raised until the election's end. It would be better, IMHO, to have at least one more candidate, that way votes (and therefore community participation) will be necessary. However, I don't want to allow this without first running it through you and User:Nehrams2020. Please let me know your thoughts on the matter. Many thanks!
