Thanks for correcting my spelling! I tried to wikilink Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, but I just assumed the writer was non-notable; I didn't realise it was mis-spelled, and had never heard of them. Thanks for sorting it out. -- JediLofty User | Talk 16:18, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

I maintained the B-class rating and left some comments. If you'd like a higher grade (there is definitely potential here), please address my comments and go to the Good Article nominations or request an review for A-class. The Assessment page cannot handle ratings higher than B-class. Errabee 11:27, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
GoldenEye
It seems that my edit comment made no sense because I started editing the article after you re-added it but before you removed it. So when I started to edit the article, it was indeed still there. Some of your rewording made the sentences more awkward and that's why they were changed back. Calling them "unnecessary" is just your opinion, but to me they aren't. ColdFusion650 17:51, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
I already have brought it up on the GoldenEye Talk page. ColdFusion650 18:01, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, hopefully I'll be able to read it thoroughly soon. I'm hoping to get through E.T. today, and if I have the time this weekend, I'll go ahead and read through Goldeneye. One other thing that caught my eye was the "Release"/"Reaction" sections. You could probably make "Reaction" a subsection of "Release" since you can't react to something that isn't released... well not professionally with a critical eye. The both look a bit small, but I'll have to read them to see if that is the case, or if they hold a lot of information in just fewer sentences than most. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 15:09, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

The article Bronze Soldier of Tallinn you nominated as a good article has failed . Please see WP:WIAGA; this article is the very definition of unstable. If you oppose this decision, you may ask for a review. ShadowHalo 03:02, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Image:Sugar and assistants cropped.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sugar and assistants cropped.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. └ UkPaolo/talk┐ 16:44, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey, welcome to the Films WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of films and film characters. If you haven't already, please add {{User WikiProject Films}} to your user page.

Cleanup
On May 8, you added a "cleanup" tag on Mickey Rooney's page, a suggestion that I agreed with. The only thing I could really do (as far as I know) is to convert the texts to tables. Have you got any other ideas? Also, who makes the decision to remove the "cleanup" tag? -- Lyverbe 13:27, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, but I don't think there's much we can do. Every actor has a list of his work on his Wiki, but the problem is that Rooney has a bloody huge one :) I could always split it into subsections using decades (ie. "===1930===" with table of films from 30's). It would increase the size of the TOC and page, but could look cleaner. Not sure if it's worth it. -- Lyverbe 13:47, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Re: GoldenEye
I'll be happy to take a look at the article and see what I can copy-edit for you. I can't do anything right now as I've got plans tonight -- dinner and seeing 28 Weeks Later -- but I've placed the FAC page on my watchlist. I should be able to find some time tomorrow to see what I can fix. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 22:52, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
South West Coast Path
I see you have commented on a couple of sections which are lists: as it's a linear path, it's of its nature that it passes through a lot of places of interest and towns/villages, in sequence, and it seems to me to be appropriate for them to be listed. (I'm not an author of the page as it stands!) PamD 18:24, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
GA Fail - Keane (film)
I have failed the article for GA status. My reasons are:
- The article is not comprehensive enough, particuraly concerning the sections near the end of the article
- Although the references are properly formatted, most of the article's sections rely solely on one or two references each
- The Alternative version section is a stub, and needs extending
- Release dates and Critical reaction could do with merging, with the latter being placed as a type-3 header. Interpretation could also be merged as a type-3 header
- The Featured cast section needs extending
• The Giant Puffin • 12:02, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- And this is where this process falls down, You have asked me to extend the featured cast section, great, shall i call the director up and ask him to re-shoot the movie and add some extra parts this time because Wikipedia say that a film with less than 5 characters in it cannot be a Good Article?
- The alternative version is a stub? okay, so once i have explained what the extended version is about what else should i say? Should i make it up? just write any old crap just to make the section long enough? what happened to be concise and to the point?
- The Project Film Style Guidelines suggest that the Distribution (i have used the heading release dates) and critical reaction sections are separate sections, you are suggesting that i merge them now, so to be a Good Article i need to ignore the style guidelines? now i am confused!
- "most of the articles sections rely soley on one or two references each"!!!!!!!!!!! Count again dude, there are two main sections with three refernces in each, and the other sections are references where needed and only when needed, again do you want me to add stuff in for the sake of it?
- This article is about a very low budget obscure movie, there is no other references to use apart from more reviews and i have enough reviews in the article to make the point. I have included references from three different articles with specialist film magazines regarding the development and filming of the project, this is as much as there is out there.
GA fail of James F. Robinson
Thank you for your review of James F. Robinson. Based on LuciferMorgan's comments on the article's talk page, I have decided to ask for a review of your decision to fail the article. I have used all sources that I am aware of in expanding the article and wish to see if the lack of available sources will prevent the article from ever becoming GA. I will abide by whatever consensus is reached. Acdixon 13:56, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:GS homepage.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:GS homepage.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aksibot 16:04, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Regional power good article nomination
Hi, thanks for replying to my request for assesment. pleased you like the page. i confess i am not very knowledgable about 'formating'. So are you saying that in the notes section i should have the title of the cited article, rather than the name of the website? and i need to say when every one was accessed? as i dont know when i originally accessed them all is it ok if i just put todays date on? also each reference should only be mentioned in the notes once, with adcd... in front of it yeah? i am sorting it now, could you let me know if im doing it right please? thanx again Willy turner 12:20, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
So for instance the first one should look like this? ""The Rise of (New) Regional Powers in Asia, Africa, Latin America – contribution to regional and world peace or protracted conflicts?"". Retrieved 2007-06-01. the thing is, if im doing it like this, what do i do about references that are cited several times? You couldnt possibly do the first few on the page for me could you?, so i can see exactly how its meant to look. Willy turner 12:43, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
I just wanted to leave you a quick note of thanks for reviewing the article. The whole group of people working on that article really deserve a lot of credit for collaborating on a complex subject - one where no one knows what is really going on. Kgrr 13:24, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
