How is the pentagon Built on top of the octagon in DAH? Is it Mentioned in the Game? Trees RockMyGoal 20:56, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know for sure, but it is a possibilty. It isn't mentioned in the game as far as I know, unless it was in an unlockable. I'll look into it more. I lent out my copy of DAH! and it got stolen, so I haven't played in a while. However, being a big fan, I can still remember much of it. --SWJS (talk) 21:00, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

- If you want my opinion, don't waste your money. Big Willy was extremely bad. My advice to you is watch Big Willy Unleashed on this website, and save up for Path of the Furon. --SWJS (talk) 21:12, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Gastro
SWJS, stop adding Gastro to the PoTF article. Don't add him on the Characters section unless there is proof of him in the game. Just because he was a gun in the second game, probably mentioned four times in the game and he's your favorite in Destroy All Humans! doesn't mean he is major. There was no cutscene of Crypto having a conversation with Gastro or anything so he's not major. Adding Gastro to the article saying "It is unknown what part Gastro will play in Path of the Furon, or if he will even be in the game at all, despite being a major character in DAH!2" is speculation. Keep repeating this and you'll be reported. --Naruto134 00:00, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- And that is what I am saying. Also, Pox is my Favorite Character, not Gastro, so that has nothing to do with it. If you'd pay attention, You'd realize Gastro was not just a gun as you say he was. He was a major character, and here is why:
- He was introduced in DAH!2 as the Mothership's Janitor and cook. Therefore he had been with Crypto and Pox all along.
- He was killed on the Mothership along with Pox, and cheated death the exact same way Pox was, only he had guns on his HoloPox unit.
- He was treated as a main character on the Pandemic Studios Website, whom made DAH!2.
So therefore he is a main character, and what was said on Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon was the truth. So go ahead and report me, I'm doing nothing wrong. Gastro didn't have to have a conversation in the game to be a major character. He was with Pox and Crypto the whole time, he can't just bloody disappear without any explaination, so therefore he would have to be at least mentioned in the game, and so therefore must at least be mentioned in the article. Can we reach an agreement there or not? --SWJS: The All Knowing Destroy All Humans! Nerd(Cortex Scan) 19:49, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Metagraph comment 08:09, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- I read the edit and deemed it not to make too much sense.. globbing them together? It didn't sound very encyclopedic to me.. albiet none of that sentence does. If you want to re-add it, attempt to just rewrite the sentence. Sorry if i caused you any problems! Metagraph comment 08:27, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Re:Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon.
Sure i can explain. Well i know the game is not released but it does not mean anyone can violate wikipedia rules. Look here. Look at the 6 it says "Lists of gameplay items, weapons, or concepts." has Inappropriate content. The article is full of this. The article look like a game manual. And yes IGN and other watermark images are not allowed. This are the copy right images. --SkyWalker (talk) 05:26, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- I think the author meant the concept art. Concept art can change. This lead to speculation. Speculation is not allowed in wikipedia. We are writing an encyclopedia. Have you seen any encyclopedia having list of weapons and items?. See other unreleased games such has Fallout 3, Spore, StarCraft 2 and Red Alert 3 follow their examples. Do you see any sorts of weapons, units and structures list in those articles?. The template can be removed and the images from the article.--SkyWalker (talk) 05:58, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- That is the spirit. When the game gets released the gameplay and plots and various can be expanded. Go through some of the featured articles to get the idea for example: BioShock, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Final Fantasy XII and Halo 3. --SkyWalker (talk) 06:24, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Ok, thanks SkyWalker for info we'll get the page fixed. I'll tell SWJS if he doesn't know. --JustaDAH!fan (talk) 19:03, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh yeah weapons we can't take off sorry. It gives the encyclopedia more info you know we could get rid of some pictures if your O.K. with that but some important looking pictures must stay just to make it look good if you know what i mean --JustaDAH!fan (talk) 19:08, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Re:360 or PS3 and why?
Which console are you getting it for? I'm getting it for 360. I already have a 360 but I'm not getting it back until November, so I'm gonna buy another one! And I'll have 2! I want to play it on 360 because I don't have a PS3 which is $400 + $60 for game. Money= :( And 360 are cool and 360s have really good graphics but so does PS3. I'm also buying it because I heard a rumor that you could go in buildings and that would be awesome, but this is a rumor I don't know if it's true. Plus why buy PS3 when 360 is cheaper? Though ps3s are cool i say 360 wins this one. What do you think? --JustaDAH!fan (talk) 22:09, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, but DO NOT get the 360 Arcade, get a plain 360. --SWJS: The All Knowing Destroy All Humans! Nerd(Cortex Scan) 22:59, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Yeah thats what I'm gonna get. --JustaDAH!fan (talk) 23:21, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Re:Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon game guide
Even simply listing each weapon with brief description is a game guide. Please understand we are writing an encyclopedia not some manual. --SkyWalker (talk) 05:32, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Have you read the featured articles?. The articles which i requested you to read?. You will gain lot of insight from those. Also why don't you help "Destroy all Humans" wikia site?. Wikia can be linked to all Destroy all Humans article. You can add weapons and other things which you are not allowed in wikipedia. Also one of the images has a watermark that can not added. --SkyWalker (talk) 05:41, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Image:PotF Screen 1.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image with an unknown source or an unknown copyright status which has been tagged as such for more than 7 days, and it still lacks the necessary information.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Image copyright problem with Image:Orthopox.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Orthopox.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 02:28, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Dear WikiProject Video games member,
You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.
The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.
All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
- Editing video game-related pages in the Article namespace
- Participating in video game-related discussions in the Project namespace (WT:VG, WP:AfD, WP:GAN, etc.)
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:10, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:35, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
