Announcements
[edit]- 80 video games were selected as part of "The Art of Video Games" display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C., from March to September 2011.
- Wikipedia:Notability (video games) has been marked as a notability essay but has failed to achieve consensus as a specific notability guideline
- Multiple proposals are underway to help simplify the project's structure, including switching the "images department" to an "image guideline" page, retirement of WikiProject-level peer reviews, ending the "collaboration of the week", and closing the article requests page
- Discussions are underway to help improve the layouts of the video game infobox, the project's barnstar and the main project page
