Dates in Wikipedia articles

Two date formats are commonly used in Wikipedia articles: December 2, 2009 and 2 December 2009. These are referred to as alphanumeric dates. The first is used in articles with a connection to the United States, and the second in articles relating to most Commonwealth countries (although no preference is expressed for Canada). In articles with no particular national affiliation, to prevent needless edit warring, the established date format should not be changed. However any given article should use just one of the two formats consistently. Dates that are all numeric are highly discouraged to avoid confusion, however if used must be in the YYYY-MM-DD format and never in YYYY-DD-MM format.

December 2022

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your work on Yellow Card Financial. Not all topics are notable (suitable for a stand-alone Wikipedia article). The Yellow Card Financial article does not cite sources establishing notability, so it may get deleted. A source shows that the article topic is notable when it:

If you can find notability-establishing sources, please add them: more than one is needed unless the applicable subject-specific notability guideline states otherwise. Specific questions can be answered live at the Teahouse help forum. Thank you. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 23:52, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the message. I have added further information and links to the page to add to the notability of Yellow Card Financial. - ricksmithza Ricksmithza (talk) 15:51, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yellow Card Financial moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Yellow Card Financial, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:40, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by CNMall41 was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Deleted per AfD two months ago. References fail WP:ORGCRIT including the Forbes articles which are written by contributors. References 14 through 21 are fillers and look more like WP:REFBOMB. Others are crypto blogs, brief mentions, or otherwise unreliable to show notability.
