Hello Ravichandar84, Just a courtesy note to let you know that I've nominated your article 2007 World Cup Matches for deletion. You can see my reasons and comment yourself at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2007 World Cup Matches. Yours, Stephen Turner (Talk) 21:53, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
SubpagesYour sourced userboxes need to be put in subpages for WP:StS. I will so some and if I do not finish follow my led.
NEVER EVER again copy the source code of a userbox and put it on your userpage. You put your userpage in a number of user template categories that it does not belong in. I am now going to work on the second set of your userboxes. -PatPeter 04:19, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
You put your userpage back in incorrect categories! Now I have to start a third run of subpages. Here, I will show you how many bad categories you put your userpage in:
RE:Oh yeah I cut out the tables didn't I? Oops, well you see I was going to fix that after I was done but then I forgot...anyway good thing you caught that. -PatPeter 15:10, 25 March 2007 (UTC) Your reply on my talk pageWhen you reply to me on my talk page please put it in the right category. I finished fixing your userpage so whatever you do do not revert it. -PatPeter 15:52, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Maratha Kings of Thanjavur, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template Welcome to WP:IndiaWelcome!

There have been lots of edits since then and it would have been good to have seen a more up to date review. Thanks anyway. Chrislintott 16:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC) Ah, okay. I was confused because of your review which links to a revision from January. Feel free to make the changes you suggest, I'll try and get round to it this week. Chrislintott 08:22, 3 April 2007 (UTC) As mentioned in Wikiproject India newsletter of March 2007, the weekly collaboration of the Indian wikiproject has fallen from its once high feats. This message is to request the users to visit the collaboration page and help rejuvenate it. The present collaboration of the week is Religion in India. Please go through the talk page of the article to see the proposed changes in the article. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 18:38, 17 April 2007 (UTC) Happy to helpHello. My field of profession is Achaemenid history. However, I am very familier with the Pathian and Sassanid dynasties. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Maziy300 (talk • contribs) 18:59, 13 May 2007 (UTC). Hello Ravichandar84, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Natgeologo.gif) was found at the following location: User:Ravichandar84. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. Notability of Malayattoor RamakrishnanTo contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Malayattoor Ramakrishnan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Thanks. --Sankarrukku 06:47, 4 September 2007 (UTC) Chola BellThe material you added to History of New Zealand is far too detailed for a very minor incident in the history, even though it appears to have very interesting implications. I realise you were told earlier that the material should be sourced, and you did source it, but it still isn't acceptable in that article. There are very many theories of early exploration of New Zealand, which are generally not well-regarded by historians. I think the existing paragraph at History_of_New_Zealand#Explorers_and_other_visitors is adequate for the article. You are probably feeling that you are getting a run-around here, but that isn't my intention. I suggest you create a new article, Chola Bell. With the first two references you gave, this article will probably survive, so long as you don't speculate on the origins of the bell. I think the third reference is a liability, since it covers so many unlikely events. The article can be categorised in Category:History of New Zealand, and would be a valuable link in a yet to be written article on Alternative theories of New Zealand history.-gadfium 05:58, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
An InviteVery interesting article on Tamil Bell. Wiki Raja 06:51, 13 September 2007 (UTC) You've probably already violated WP:3RR. I urge you to stop reverting against consensus on Tamil bell. Thanks. Sarvagnya 08:24, 13 September 2007 (UTC) Glad to see you insertings refs. This article could do with a good cleanup and future monitoring. Tyrenius 05:16, 14 September 2007 (UTC) please stop adding people to the "list of Indologists" who do not in fact publish academically. Especially the addition of N. S. Rajaram is a bit of a joke, since this chap is in fact a self-proclaimed "anti-Indologist". The Voice of India crowd you keep adding is a topic of Indian politics (communalist propaganda), which is not the same as (academic) Indology. --dab (𒁳) 09:48, 16 September 2007 (UTC) Thanjavur temple pictureI just saw your note at Talk:Brihadeeswarar Temple and saw the picture Image:ThanjavurBigTemple.jpg you uploaded. It is indeed a nice photograph! However note that for a picture to become "featured picture" it needs to satisfy the Featured picture criteria, one of which is that it be high resolution (typically at least 1MP). Since you have taken the snap yourself, could you upload the largest size that you have ? Regards. Abecedare 03:33, 29 September 2007 (UTC) Re: IyerYou're welcome, but it's my job here. :) I'm not sure about what the article had to obtain a B, but it is possible that standards have increased since then, or that it was graded incorrectly, or that there is more criteria needs to be satisfied before moving up. I would advise against trying for FA or GA yet and to keep working on it (keep in mind, you still may nominate your articles in either category if you wish, despite the likelihood of being unsuccessful) Upon reaching B-stage, unless the article is excellent and practically perfect (and in special circumstances where the article is unable to gain GA or FA status), all I can give is an A-class article. After reaching B grade, the assessment department's role is to provide recommendations to editors of the article on how to proceed. It is up to the editors to follow these recommendations, or to totally ignore them and let the article remain at the same level. I will look at the comments when I have a chance, but I can forewarn now, the references are no where near enough for this article to advance beyond this level. Still, I am sure once you have made the necessary changes, it may come closer to being ready for nomination for a higher grade. Best of luck - keep a look on the comments page as I will respond when I get a chance sometime soon. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:161599.jpg. The copy called Image:161599.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action. This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. History of New ZealandI thought we'd been over this. Please don't add theories with little evidence to this article. Wikipedia is not a place to promote nonsense.-gadfium 05:40, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

But the request was declined. So can you help for that.--Alagesandas 03:24, 4 November 2007 (UTC) Category:IyersHi, we don't like the categorize people by jati on Wikipedia. There are thousands of jatis, and each one shouldnt need a category. We had a discussion on this Wikipedia_talk:Notice_board_for_India-related_topics/Archive_18#Caste_lists_vs._Caste_cats which stated that we would rather have the articles on sourced lists than categories. There's no problem noting famous people are Iyers in the articles or on List of Iyers, but the category thing is unwieldy.Bakaman 18:27, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Religion may/not serve these purposes too, but wikipedia already had a set guideline when these things were created for religion. The "proper channel" is emptying, then speedy deleting, seeing as there was a consensus to nip casteism in the bud. Caste lists are probably only looked at by people of a certain caste, so nobody would have a problem with List of Iyers, List of Nairs, etc. If I had an ulterior motive, it would be to try and unify all the various Hindus on wikipedia, instead of dividing them by caste.Bakaman 17:52, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
