As you can see [[1]] the article has been deleted 2 times. The first time by Nyttend and the second time by Salvio giuliano. In Wikipedia no copyrighted text can be put. It is a very serious matter. At this point I suggest you to: or re-write the article and submit it for review (of course without copied text) or take the article that has been undeleted. You can find it [[2]]. Morrnah's ho'oponopono
[edit]Aloha Pikks, mahalo for yr interest in genuine ho'oponopono. Together with Makana Chai, Honolulu, I created the articles about ho'oponopono and Morrnah Simeona in English, later translated them in German in French. Meanwhile there exists also a translation in Polish by Anna. Would you mind helping us to put it in life on the pl-WP? It is already written in html, so just open up the article in pl-WP as a stub (Lemma plus one sentence), then I can fill in easily the text and the pictures. After this pls take care that no one is vandalising the Polish version (I can't do this as I don't speak Polish, Anna has not enough time). Surely Makana and me would be very pleased if you would find the time to translate the articles in Italian and Sicilian. Maluhia Michael Micklei (talk) 11:37, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Aloha, I can surely help with that. I saw that few days ago somebody started the Italian version, however it is less than a stub. It needs to be done well in order for it to stay there. However I prefer to think about one thing at a time, so I would start with the Polish version. I can see that the article pl:Ho'oponopono doesn't exist yet. Please explain what should be done, because you mention about some existing html. Do you mean that the article already exists somewhere and it just needs to be added to PL-wiki? Or should I start the article translating the English version? --★ Pikks ★ MsG 11:54, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- The article pl:Ho'oponopono existed on my hard disk only, as Anna Kligert translated it (she is Polish) and I made the complete html for WP. Filling in of the article is DONE. Now it's yr turn to correct and add. :-) Instead of Sicilian I meant Sardinian :-)) --Michael Micklei (talk) 13:13, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you :)) I'll take care of it. I had the chance to participate in Anna's seminars 2 times, if you tell her if she remembers some Italian guy in her lessons, she for sure will. She knows I was and still am searching for Pacifica Seminars instructors that teach the ancient Morrnah's Ho'oponopono in Italian and/or English in Europe even better if in Italy. Maybe you know? And yes... After the Polish one will be stable/fine for some time I can start thinking about the Italian and Sardinian versions :) --★ Pikks ★ MsG 13:24, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Aloha, you are already busy with Poland - and somebody else too! Pls consider: Anna Kligert is a wonderful person and teacher, but she is not the only one of Pacifica Seminars, even the last years it seemed like this, as I did not do much public advertising but worked silently behind the stage for a special reason. May be more infos later, as this is changing now. Anna organized a few classes for Morrnah in Poland (with 700 people!) and began teaching since around 10 years. Actually she is following consequently what Morrnah has given to Pacifica Seminars. Therefore not to mention her personal name, but the one of Pacifica Seminars only. Mahalo. --Michael Micklei (talk) 15:07, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Aloha, I agree with you. I removed the personal name and written instead "Pacifica Seminars" members. I think it would be a good idea to add, as soon as we have the right references, the names of the Pacifica Seminars members that teach Ho'oponopono. What do you think? Muroball
[edit]To Whom It May Concern-
I recently submitted an article for the game that my family and invented called muroball. It was denied due to not having sources or references. Unfortunately, there is no references. By the information provided, it was a game we invented at a YMCA on a whim. I am not quite sure where to go from here. Your assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Antonio
Hello Antonio, This is the link to the article. As you can see there are no references. The article can be approved if there are independent sources (eg. web site, newspapers, magazines) that talk about that game. If you can find the right sources you can resubmit the article for review. --★ Pikks ★ MsG 09:17, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

Your review at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/William Harness
[edit]You guys really are destroying the whole point of Wikipedia and I see its gradual demise thanks to such policies. The purpose of Wikipedia began as a process between users and now self-important people like yourself turn into mini-tyrants who take control of a process that was once open.
How can you claim that my sources are unreliable?????? The source which is quoted is a book about the subject by a recognized author of significance!!!!!!!
Well, you can thank yourself for your sloppy, uneducated standard which has now turned me off Wikipedia for good. What I wrote was a good article about an important man and now, thanks to you, people will continue to be ignorant of his contribution. What a joke Wikipedia has become!
If you took the time to do your research you would find that Reverend L'Estrange, far from being an unreliable source, has written a number of good books about interesting Victorian Era authors.
I will now stop contributing to Wikipedia. Why should I, as a professional biographer, take the time to share this information with others if people like you are going to stand in the way. Thanks, and good bye Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirbycairo (talk • contribs) 15:59, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hello and thank you for your message. The source can be good or bad, I don't know since I cannot find information about it. Does it really exist? What is that? Is it a magazine, book, TV program, document, web site? The only information in the reference is "Quoted in L’Estrange, page 4". The reference should allow everybody to find the information in the article. I tried to search it on google (see here), but without luck. There is no information of what l'Estrange is. The article is not deleted, it is just declined. After you correct the references you can re-submit it for review. When using this kind of references, please use the cite templates. You can find the list on the Wikipedia:Citation_templates page. The references should respect the WP:VERIFY criteria. If the subject is notable I am sure you can find also additional references apart from l'Estrange. Please let me know if you have more questions. --★ Pikks ★ MsG 17:45, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

Fashion blogggers template
[edit]Hello! It seems there has been some misunderstanding about Zoetica Ebb - thought I'd clear it up with you before replacing her name in the template. She indeed runs a fashion blog in which she does post her own fashions - in more than one place, actually: http://coilhouse.net/category/whats-zo-wearing/ http://suicidegirls.com/news/tags/zoetica/ Hope that helps! Feather Jonah (talk) 02:37, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hello, I understand she wears her own outfits sometimes, but see how the typology of her blog is so different from the rest. If somebody clicks on her name, this person is redirected to her article. In the article there is written that she is a "artist, photographer, writer, model and alternative culture personage". The only thing about fashion blogging is the sentence "as well as a photographer for SuicideGirls[9] (where she also ran a fashion blog column titled What's Zo Wearing)". The template "fashion bloggers" should add value for the people that are looking for "fashion bloggers and stylists that wear the outfits they create and show them on their blog". As I can see here, there is no such a thing in her blog. And if there is something it's difficult to find. The links you gave are other blogs, not Zo's. --★ Pikks ★ MsG 06:38, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
- She works for both of those sites, so those are her own columns with the pictures of her outfits - it's not someone else writing about her (you can even see her name credited as the author).Feather Jonah (talk) 16:05, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, yes, I believe it and I see it. However this is not the purpose of this template. Take a look at the other people of this template. They all are fashionistas, they are the main subject of their blog. Zoetica doesn't fall in this category. I would propose to add Zoetica in a photographer template, not this fashion blogger's template.
Let me explain better. Let's assume we have the Michelle Obama and she writes a blog. Her blog is about beauty and cosmetics. She posts several times a week, however once per month she posts her photos wearing her clothes. Michelle would not fall under this template.
Another example. We have some famous journalist for The Time. This journalists writes a blog about fashion. This journalist sometimes posts her photos with her clothes and writes where the clothes are from. This journalist writes a blog about fashion. So is a fashion blogger, but she would not fall into this category.
Third and last example. We have Tavi Gevinson, she writes a blog where she showcases her creations, her outfits, she writes were those clothes are from. She became famous because of this blog. This is the main topic. She falls into this category and she can stay in this template. --★ Pikks ★ MsG 17:03, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Copyright checks when performing AfC reviews
[edit]Hello Pikks. This message is part of a mass mailing to people who appear active in reviewing articles for creation submissions. First of all, thank you for taking part in this important work! I'm sorry this message is a form letter – it really was the only way I could think of to covey the issue economically. Of course, this also means that I have not looked to see whether the matter is applicable to you in particular.
The issue is in rather large numbers of copyright violations ("copyvios") making their way through AfC reviews without being detected (even when easy to check, and even when hallmarks of copyvios in the text that should have invited a check, were glaring). A second issue is the correct method of dealing with them when discovered.
If you don't do so already, I'd like to ask for your to help with this problem by taking on the practice of performing a copyvio check as the first step in any AfC review. The most basic method is to simply copy a unique but small portion of text from the draft body and run it through a search engine in quotation marks. Trying this from two different paragraphs is recommended. (If you have any question about whether the text was copied from the draft, rather than the other way around (a "backwards copyvio"), the Wayback Machine is very useful for sussing that out.)
If you do find a copyright violation, please do not decline the draft on that basis. Copyright violations need to be dealt with immediately as they may harm those whose content is being used and expose Wikipedia to potential legal liability. If the draft is substantially a copyvio, and there's no non-infringing version to revert to, please mark the page for speedy deletion right away using {{db-g12|url=URL of source}}. If there is an assertion of permission, please replace the draft article's content with {{subst:copyvio|url=URL of source}}.
Some of the more obvious indicia of a copyvio are use of the first person ("we/our/us..."), phrases like "this site", or apparent artifacts of content written for somewhere else ("top", "go to top", "next page", "click here", use of smartquotes, etc.); inappropriate tone of voice, such as an overly informal tone or a very slanted marketing voice with weasel words; including intellectual property symbols (™,®); and blocks of text being added all at once in a finished form with no misspellings or other errors.
I hope this message finds you well and thanks again you for your efforts in this area. Best regards--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 02:20, 18 November 2014 (UTC).

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. History of the Poles in the United States
[edit]Given your high fluency in Polish, I am reaching out to you in regards to the History of the Poles in the United States article. It has no Polish equivalent, and any time you can spend towards translating in any capacity would be much-appreciated. I would be more than happy to help any way that I can.
Thank you! Pola.mola (talk) 19:52, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
