Regarding the logos
Hi, I’ve noticed that you’ve updated the logo name of 100 Thieves which made the logo appear in the searches, yesterday we were discussing the same at Alyo’s talk page regarding this glitch. Can you please describe briefly the change you made which helped with 100 thieves’ logo come up in search. Fnatic, Stalwart, Evil genuises and many more organisation’s still don’t have the logo in search, maybe if you can tell me what the issue is, i might sort all those articles. Abhayesports 19:41, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Abhayesports: Hi, what searches? Like Google? Pbrks (talk) 19:45, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, Ummm, no not google searches. Wikipedia searches, There are few esport organisation's who don't get a logo when you search for them on wikipedia desktop or mobile or wikipedia app. They get a book shaped logo, while some organisation's get them. For example if you search Cloud9 on mobile website/app you would get a logo in the search drop down along with the logo but if you search for Evil Genuises, you won't get it. While i was looking on it yesterday 100 thieves didn't have the logo as well but today i saw that they have a logo so i looked up the edit history and saw that you have made an edit with the logo. so wanted to understand what did you do exactly? Check these two links to understand what i am trying to say. When you search for Cloud9) you get a logo with it's name but if you [https://prnt.sc/10v0561 search for Evil genuises you don't get it. and the same applies to many many organisations. you can check it yourself on desktop website https://www.wikipedia.org/, Enter Fnatic or Stalwart Esports and you'd realise that they don't get a logo while as when you enter Cloud9 they will get it. Abhayesports 20:32, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Abhayesports: It's likely because the image is on the Wikimedia Commons. Only files that are free may be uploaded on Commons, and since the 100 Thieves logo does not meet the threshold of originality (TOO) in the United States, I was able to upload it there. Fnatic's and Salwart's logos are not not allowed on Commons, since they are above the TOO in their respective countries. Pbrks (talk) 20:52, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, Oh, I see. So basically Fnatic and Stalwart and other like organisation's logo's are uploaded on wikipedia while as other organisation's have logo's on wikimedia commons. Alyo lol this is the real reason haha.
- Also I'm unable to click on the TOO link i'd like to read about it, Also unfortunately there are no other esport organisation's from india on wikipedia so i don't know what the TOO for India is but Gambit Esports and Excel Esports are two organisation's from United Kingdom just like Fnatic. Gambit and Excel has it's logos uploaded to the commons while as Fnatic doesn't? The TOO for UK should be applied to all these three organisation's right? my questions might be silly but i'm just trying to learn. Thanks Abhayesports 20:58, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, Also as per this article on TOO For India, It is mentioned that India seems to have a similar threshold of originality as the US Courts what are your views on this? Abhayesports 21:01, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Abhayesports: Sorry, I messed up the link... should be fixed now. Most UK logos are not allowed on Commons; the UK has a very low TOO. Gambit is a Russian organization, from what I understand. As for Excel, I'm not sure, but I believe that it should not be on Commons (for example, the UK deemed this logo as eligible for copyright protection). Yes, India has a similar TOO to the US, which is why the Salwart logo shouldn't be on Commons. Pbrks (talk) 22:38, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, i think I’m understanding things wrongly haha,
- Gambit is mentioned in the category of esports org’s based in united kingdom. And if India’s TOO is similar to US doesn’t that mean that indian org’s logo should be on commons just like US org’s? I mean Cloud9 is a US org and according to it’s TOO it can be on commons so doesn’t that mean Indian Org like Stalwart which has a similar TOO to US should also be on commons? I hope I’m making sense or maybe missing something? Can you please explain it in a easy way? I guess my comprehension skills are very low, lol. -Warm Regards--Abhay EsportsTalk To Me 23:35, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

@Abhayesports: Gambit is still a Russian organization (they are owned by MTS), they're just based in the UK. Now, not all logos of US companies are allowed on Commons, only logos "unoriginal" enough are. How "original" a logo must be in order to be protected by copyright is dictated by the country in which it was made in. As it turns out, the UK basically says that logos don't need to be that original to still be protected by copyright, while the US and India say that there needs to be a bit of creative effort and originality in order for the logo to be protected by copyright. That's why something very simple, like the 100 Thieves logo, is not protected by copyright and can be uploaded to Commons, while something like File:Atlanta Reign logo.svg, something much more complicated, is protected by copyright and, therefore, cannot be uploaded to Commons. Salwarts' logo is original enough to be protected by copyright, so it can't be uploaded to Commons. Pbrks (talk) 00:36, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, This was very clear now, so basically the TOO depends on how the logo is, if it is simple then it has no issues but if it is kind of creative then it isn’t supposed to be used. Thanks for the efforts mate, appreciate it, been trying to understand this since past couple of days. Understood properly now. -Warm Regards--Abhay EsportsTalk To Me 07:09, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- Abhayesports I think you've got this, but just to clarify what you tagged me on--everything I told you on my page was accurate. You said "So basically Fnatic and Stalwart and other like organisation's logo's are uploaded on wikipedia while as other organisation's have logo's on wikimedia commons" which is not different from what I was saying--images are only able to be uploaded on the Commons when they are free. This is just a different way of saying what we talked about with regard to free and non-free images. The basic point still stands that free images will show up in searches and non-free images won't. Alyo (chat·edits) 14:26, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- Alyo, yes, correct. You told the same indeed but the TOO reference gave me the clear idea of it. I knew that Free images will show up in search and non-free won’t as you told me about it briefly earlier, but i was keen to learn what actually “Free” and “Non-Free” images are. And the TOO gives the best idea about it. Thank you as well for the efforts, mate. -Warm Regards--Abhay EsportsTalk To Me 16:43, 27 March 2021 (UTC)

Copyright
Hi, you recently left a notice on the deependwaterballoonlaunch.jpg file, saying that it may be deleted soon due to missing permission. I've got to be honest- I don't understand copyright. I put it under CC0 because I don't think the image has any copyright. I think the only place the original image exists online is that tweet. Would you be able to give me some information on how to fix what needs fixing? Microwavedfork (talk) 17:27, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Microwavedfork: Hi. In general, most images you find online cannot be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, and you should assume every photograph you find is copyrighted unless there's reason to believe otherwise. Here's a rundown of how when you are/are not allowed to upload images to Commons:
- You can upload anything that you create yourself and license it any way you want.
- This excludes images that contain copyrighted works in them (e.g. taking a picture of a company's logo or an artist's sculpture).
- You cannot upload work that was created by someone else, which includes most images you find online.
- One exception: The author has granted permission for anyone to use, copy, modify, and sell it. For example, I was allowed to upload this image with the license {{cc-by-2.0}} because the author explicitly released it under that license (see the source here and click where it says "Some rights reserved").
- Another exception: The image's copyright has expired. I think (don't quote me) that, most of the time, copyrights expire in the US 70 years after the author's death.
- There are more exceptions, but there are the main ones that apply to photographs.
- You can upload anything that you create yourself and license it any way you want.
- Now, uploading copyrighted files to Wikipedia is a different story, since you are allowed to upload these files under fair-use, but there are very strict restrictions as to what qualifies as fair-use. You can only upload copyrighted files under fair-use if the these conditions are met. Let me know if this helps or if you need any clarification on anything. Pbrks (talk) 17:48, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- Should I contact the creator of the photo, then? I would think that a photo being released on Twitter without a copyright would grant others the right to use and modify it, but maybe not. Microwavedfork (talk) 19:56, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Microwavedfork: Yes, you can contact the owner and ask them to release the file under a free license by having them visit this page: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wikimedia_OTRS_release_generator. That page will guide them through the process if they choose to do it; at some point, it will ask them if the file is already on Wikimedia Commons, which they can choose yes and enter that the file name is File:Deependwaterballoonlaunch.jpg. Then, it will generate the text for them to send in an email. Pbrks (talk) 20:08, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- I've messaged the owner and he's sent the email. I have added the subst:OP to the file page, does the deletion notification get removed now, or once the file is verified? Side note, has the font size on articles gotten smaller all of a sudden or am I and/or my computer going crazy? Microwavedfork (talk) 04:16, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Microwavedfork: Glad to hear it. No, the deletion template does not get removed, but don't worry, if the email was sent, it won't be deleted so long as there is a OR pending. And no, haha, the text is fine on my end. Pbrks (talk) 04:24, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help throughout this. I guess I'll have to check my computer settings to see what's up or wait it out and see what happens, then. Microwavedfork (talk) 04:28, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

VPR thread
Hi Pbrks—I just checked in on the VPR thread and saw the close. Apologies it turned out that way—I read it as a mixture of some legitimate design concerns, some knee-jerk attachment to the status quo, and some hesitancy to support anything with such wide impact that's not fully developed and very widely advertised. I hope it'll be possible at some point down the road to revisit this and get something implemented. I take away from this that it'll be important to go about it very cautiously, with a restrained scope and all the ground work completed before the proposal is launched for wide input. Again, sorry this was such a rocky journey, but thanks for making the attempt, and I hope the lessons from it will help us move forward. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 23:23, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- Just came here to say this as well, some people were terribly rude (VP in particular), especially when you had the best of intentions by initiating an RFC based on the results of a previous one. Best - Aza24 (talk) 01:58, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Sdkb and Aza24: No worries, I too see that others notice a need for some kind of change, and it was probably a bit ambitious to tackle so many different areas at once. This is my first time dealing with anything at the VP, so it was at the very least a learning experience. I sincerely appreciate you both reaching out. Pbrks (talk) 02:55, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

Hey Bit confused.
Hii, Just checked your addition of logo to guild. It's hosted on wikipedia right since it's a non-free logo. How does it appear in the search bar as well? if it isn't hosted on wikimedia. As you earlier said if it's on wikipedia it won't show up on the search bar? For eg. FNATIC AND GUILD BOTH ARE FROM UK and both are hosted on wikipedia and the same TOO would be applied to both of them but fnatic doesn't show up while as guild does. Attaching Screenshots. FNATIC SEARCH SCREENSHOT GUILD ESPORTS SEARCH SCREENSHOT, Tagging Alyo, what do you think?Warm Regards---Abhay EsportsTalk To Me 17:20, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Abhayesports: Hmm... it's probably because it has a public domain license. I'm pretty sure it works in the following way: any non-free file will not show up in the search bar, and any free file will show up, regardless if it's hosted on Wikipedia or Commons. Pbrks (talk) 17:26, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Abhayesports: Also, it *is* a free logo in the US, but not in the UK. Since it is not free in it's home country (UK), it can't go to Commons, but since it is free in the US, it can be tagged as a free image on Wikipedia. Pbrks (talk) 17:27, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, I'm so confused now haha, I'm trying to make a point. See Logo's play an important part in esports. And i feel like Logo's should be displayed along with the name when someone is searching for an article. because reader's might be confused while searching for an article if they don't have an logo. So Can we follow the same with FNATIC, STALWART,
- NATUSVINCERE and other org's so that they serve a purpose to the readers? you getting my point? Warm Regards---Abhay EsportsTalk To Me 17:46, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Abhayesports: Well, obviously, we can't have every logo appear in searches, since some might not be free in the US. In regards to the specific organizations you mentioned: I've already changed Fnatic, and Salwart and NaVi are probably free in the US. Pbrks (talk) 17:53, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, Also can you share any document to read where i'd learn how to recognise the logo's which are free in the US so that i might work on eligible org's logo's and make them available to search? Warm Regards---Abhay EsportsTalk To Me 17:58, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Abhayesports: COM:TOO US from Commons is a good reference, and it has examples of images that have been determined as non-copyrightable and other that have been determined as copyrightable. Pbrks (talk) 18:10, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, Thanks, I'll go through it.
- I've changed Stalwart's to Free for US, Can you check if i've done it correctly or not. Warm Regards---Abhay EsportsTalk To Me 18:11, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

{{PD-ineligible-USonly|the United Kingdom}}
, but it should be{{PD-ineligible-USonly|India}}
. Pbrks (talk) 18:15, 8 April 2021 (UTC)- Pbrks, yeah corrected that, but still doesn't show up in the search. I've copied exactly what you've done with FNATIC. Can you check? until then i'll work on NAVI. Warm Regards---Abhay EsportsTalk To Me 18:16, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

DYK for Cloud9 League of Legends
On 2 May 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Cloud9 League of Legends, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Cloud9 League of Legends division won back-to-back League of Legends Championship Series titles in their first two seasons of existence? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Cloud9 League of Legends. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Cloud9 League of Legends), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Why this revert? There look to have been multiple changes by anon IPs since the cleanup took place. Deb (talk) 15:14, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Deb: There has been one (non-reverted) anon IP edit since cleanup (diff), which only reorganized the intro. Pbrks (talk) 15:21, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
- Does that not look to you like a promotional edit? It does to me. Deb (talk) 15:25, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Deb: Not at all. Compare:

Streamer article moves
Hi, I've reverted some of your moves of pages of streamers from "Example (streamer)" to "Example (gamer)". Kitboga, for instance, does not play games. Destiny was a starcraft pro many many years ago, but he is most notable for his current streaming career. You should only be moving these articles if it actually applies to the subject. ‑‑Volteer1 (talk) 18:13, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Eustachio Pisani
Hi, thank you for the review. I can't understand what to improve on the page I proposed, could you help me understand what to improve specifically? Thanks in advance --Romanitass (talk) 23:47, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Romanitass: Hello, thank you for reaching out. I declined it for two reasons.
- It lacks inline citations for multiple claims, e.g.
Orphaned at an early age, he pursued his goals with tenacity, dividing himself between working during the day and studying in the evening.
and... where he was hired at the Cartiere Meridionali as an assistant until he became head of manufacture.
- It has a WP:TONE issue. A few examples of issue-sentences are
...he pursued his goals with tenacity ...
andHe showed great affection towards the employees of his company...
. We need to impartially describe what he did. In other words, these portions of the sentences could be left out, and nothing would be lost from the article.
- It lacks inline citations for multiple claims, e.g.
- I am unsure of whether or not this draft passes the general notability guidelines (since I do not speak Italian and cannot verify whether or not the sources are reliable), which is why I did not include that as a reason for declining. However, that is another possible issue, and for that reason, even if the above issues were fixed, I personally would not be able to pass it. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. Pbrks (talk) 02:05, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Pbrks: Thank you very much, you have been very kind! I suspected those two sentences might be the problem, but I finally have confirmation. I also fixed the references. As for the latter, the page is a translation of the one already present in the Italian Wikipedia. The references include acts of the Italian government and government agencies, of which I have linked the original documents and I believe they are the most significant to certify what is written. Then I mentioned books, two of which published by the General Confederation of Italian Industry and a university thesis. I also cited an interview with the President of the General Confederation of Italian Industry of Frosinone, as well as some newspaper articles. I hope I have done everything correctly, I will try to resubmit the review request... Thanks again for your help! --Romanitass (talk) 22:56, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Romanitass: You're welcome, and best of luck! Pbrks (talk) 04:50, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Marek Sobola (talk) 17:54, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
Dear Pbrks, Thank you for reviewing the Servare et Manere article. You write that I infringed copyright because I copied information from the website www.tofp.eu. This website deals with the NGO Servare et Manere project. I am the CEO of Servare et Manere, therefore as the highest executive and administrative body I have all the copyrights to the texts on the official websites of Servare et Manere: www.tofp.eu and www.servaremanere.sk
- @Marek Sobola: Hello, thank you for reaching out. Currently, the content on these two websites are clearly copyrighted, as seen at the bottom of the pages. If you are the owner of this content, there are several ways you can give permission for Wikipedia to use it. The easiest way is to put that permission explicitly on the site where that material is posted (known as a copyleft). You can read WP:DONATETEXT for more more detailed information, including what exactly must be written, and for other ways to give permission. Pbrks (talk) 18:02, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
Dear Pbrks, Thank you very much for the instructions. I understand that I could have caused certain problems out of ignorance. On the other hand, I am very happy that Wikipedia protects copyright. I proceeded by sending Granting the permission to copy material already online / Declaration of consent for all enquiries to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Permission applies to all wiki articles related to Tree of Peace. I do not receive absolutely any compensation for the articles I published on wikipedia, nor do I expect it. I try to write encyclopedically and objectively. I publish all articles under my real name Marek Sobola. I do not consider the fact that I wrote an article about Servare et Manere to be a bad practice. It is a general NGO that does beneficial work. The information is factual, without any indication of advertising. I hope this is understandable. Kind regards
- @Marek Sobola: Thank you for your contribution, I'm sure it will be handled soon. Also, I have tagged the conflict of interest that you may have on the appropriate articles. Pbrks (talk) 19:11, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
Dear Pbrks, Thank you for your time and work. I would like to ask when and under what circumstances you will remove the conflict of interest from the marked articles. How to proceed? What is the ideal next step? Thank you.
- @Marek Sobola: The conflict of interest tags can be removed once the articles have been reviewed by an independent editor to ensure that the content has a neutral point of view. This may take some time, as there are quite a few articles that you and/or your organization have written about yourselves. Pbrks (talk) 19:35, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Pbrks: Thank you! I understand. I don't know if I can - could I ask you to independently review the tagged articles? Would you be so kind? I think you are the right and independent person. Can you do it please? I realize that as a volunteer and editor of wikipedia you have a lot of work ... Once again, thank you very much. Best regards
- @Marek Sobola: I'm sorry, but I think it would be best if a different editor took on that task. Pbrks (talk) 22:48, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
A message from Mattstead
Dear Pbrks,
You declined my Wikipedia submission yesterday. It is an article describing a new open source format MED that is the next evolution of an existing open source format MEF for which there IS a Wikipedia page. I am the creator of all MEF format versions, as well as MED. I do not understand why MEF is worthy of a Wikipedia page, but MED is not. I was not the author of the MEF Wikipedia page; is this the issue? I can confidently assert that MED is a very substantial improvement on all MEF versions, because I created them all.
Thanks, Matt Stead
Mattstead (talk) 22:35, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Mattstead: Hello, thanks for reaching out. I declined the submission because, in its current state, it does not demonstrate notability. Please add reliable sources that are independent of the topic (that is, the "inventors" of MED are not independent sources) to demonstrate notability. That is not to say that the MED draft can't be an article, but it is not ready. In regards to the MEF article, I did not review that article, and "x article exists, so y should too" is generally not a good argument for the creation of articles. Best of luck on improving your draft! Pbrks (talk) 22:47, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

Dear Pbrks,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I can't fix the the issues you raise as the source you request is basically me. I will say this, MED is a substantial and highly developed open source body of work. It exists, like Wikipedia, in the spirit of sharing work, and in the hopes of fostering progress in neurophysiology. If you'd like to follow the link through MED Format to GitHub and skim through the code base and documentation, I think you'd agree.
I routinely donate to Wikipedia, for what that's worth.
Thanks, Matt Stead
A message from Mattstead
Dear Pbrks,
Thanks again for your prompt reply. I really believe this warrants a Wikipedia entry, but I cannot satisfy the standard conditions for conflict of interest. I DO NOT stand to gain from this, nor does any company. It is a description of a publicly available open source neurophysiology format, to which anyone can contribute. So does Wikipedia have a mechanism to appeal publication decisions?
Thanks for your time, Matt Stead
- @Mattstead: I'm sorry, but there are rules for the inclusion of an article on Wikipedia (see WP:GNG). If the file format is as important as you say, then this is a relatively new format, it may be a case of WP:TOOSOON. To be clear, the decline was not made due to your conflict of interest. A message from Akarniel
Dear Pbrks,
My name is Amihai, I have written the draft "Draft:Shlomo Laufer" that you recently declined. I urge you to reconsider your decision, as I think the standards you hold this draft are not adequate, taking into account the status of the person at hand. The main issue is a sort of "Gridlock" that you and previous reviewers have placed this draft in. On one hand, reliable sources are requested. On the other hand, I was asked to remove anything Hebrew-related from the draft. Mr. Laufer is a well-established and experienced Israeli poet, but he is not a "Superstar" of Israeli poetry, so most of the sources I can verify from are Hebrew journals, publishing houses, etc. Each and every English mention on the web was added as a source to the draft. but not a lot of his work was translated. Some of his work is being translated nowadays, and once published can be added to the draft.
Moreover, on a more personal note, he is an old man, with progressive dementia. His family wished me to help with writing this article, I am not compensated for this work in any way. They are seeking to have his life and work documented in English as well, for historical purposes. Another disturbing issue was that one of the early drafts of it was copied and published by Wikitia without permission, and published fully. Now they added a mistake about the citizenship of Laufer. they wrote it as Polish, while Laufer is Israeli. He survived the Holacoust. Writing him as Polish (Which for him are the people that killed his entire family) is touching a delicate nerve for the family. I guess what I am trying to say is that I think this article will not be visited often, and no major harm will happen to Wikipedia if you choose to allow its creation "as is", with lower standards. As for verification of the information, you can ask a Hebrew speaking colleague to compare this draft to the Hebrew Wikipedia article, which was published and verified a while back. He/She will see that we did not add any outraging claims that were not verified by Hebrew Wikipedia.
Kind regards,
Amihai Karniel.
Akarniel (talk) 05:20, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Akarniel: Hello. I'm sorry to hear the current situation you are in. Unfortunately, the decision I made is justified and I cannot accept the article in it's current state for the reasons I described. Looking at the previous editors' comments, I don't see them say anywhere that you cannot use non-English references; the only comment was that the text in the body of the article must be English. In fact, it is a policy that you are allowed to use non-English reliable sources (see WP:RSUE). If a reliable source for a statement does not exist, you should just remove it. We cannot use the Hebrew Wikipedia as a point of reference, since Wikipedia itself is not considered a reliable source, and we will not accept an article at a lower standard because "no harm will happen" (see WP:NOHARM). Best of luck on improving your draft, and let me know if you have any other questions. Pbrks (talk) 14:10, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
A message from Jonguy86
Just saw your response regarding recent edits to Draft:Waltron. I'm trying to do this right! As for references -- when I compare this with a lot of similar company pages, I think we have a lot more detail that is supported by actual references and documents. The history of Bull & Roberts and Alvin Purdy is meaningful to a lot of people in the water chemistry space; would it be better to separate that out and make a "Bull & Roberts" page? Then the company page for Waltron could be much shorter, only referencing the B&R history page. Jonguy86 (talk) 22:26, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Jonguy86 I understand the confusion, I think. Take a look at say, Microsoft. Notice how after just about every sentence or two, there is a hatnote -- this tells the reader where that information came from so that they can verify it, if need be. That should be the goal for your draft as well. I highly recommend reading Wikipedia:Citing sources as well, as drafts that have poor or incomplete references tend not to do well with in articles for creation. For example, reference 8 in Draft:Walton is "Marine News, Sep 1930", but that really isn't sufficient. We need to know what page or article to look at as well. Good referencing is key. I do not understand the stated reasoning for rejecting the article. It seems to be vague as I included numerous references and citations. I'm not sure what is missing - PLEASE let me know.
As for the photo possibly violating copyright by Elsevier, the copyright to the photo was not signed over to Elsevier. However, we will replace the image with a new image that has not been previously published.
Thank you for your assistance.
Wyattbk2912 (talk) 12:55, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Wyattbk2912 Hello, thanks for reaching out. I rejected the draft because it is not properly sourced. Every statement needs to be backed by a reliable source. As it stands, almost the entire "Biography" section is unsourced as well as the "Ecosystem Research". Note that there may be more issues with the article, as I have not read it over in detail since unsourced content is the current issue. Pbrks (talk) 14:54, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
SuanShu article rejected
Hello Pbrks,
Thank you for reviewing the article. Unfortunately, it is rejected.
Can you let me know how I can improve the article please? I believe that it is already in a neutral tone without any references to saying anything positive about the subject. I merely state some facts.
Also, I have cited a number of articles from referred journal articles and books. I thought they would count as "independent, reliable, published sources".
I am not sure what to edit to make it satisfy the requirements. Can you please give me some advice please? That would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.155.39.74 (talk)
- @120.155.39.74: Hello, thanks for reaching out. The issue is with the body of the draft (which is completely unsourced). It reads like an advertisement because it basically just says:
- Here's what we can do
- You can use it under these terms
- Here's how to use it
- Moreover, that references given do not seem to contain significant coverage of the subject, which is okay, but it does not demonstrate notability. We need secondary, reliable, independent sources with significant coverage of the subject (see WP:GNG). Pbrks (talk) 14:49, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
For the body of the draft, can you suggest how I can modify the tone so it satisfies the requirements. I basically copied from another accepted article on a similar topic. I am not sure why that article got thru and this one does not. Also, what do you mean by "unsourced"? Do I need to cite anything to justify the body of the draft.
Also, for the reference, the first reference is a book published by a significant publisher APress on the subject. The entire book is about how to use SuanShu. The other references shows the adoption of using SuanShu in various academic areas. I am not sure how much more notable it can get. All these sources are secondary and are in referred journals.
Can you take a second look at the draft again or please give some suggestions? Your help is much appreciated.
- @120.155.39.74: I do not compare drafts with articles already in existence, as not articles really should be in the article space (see WP:OTHERSTUFF). Okay, let's run through it.
- The author of the book is Dr. Haksun Li, who is also the CEO of SuanShu (or its parent company), so that source is not independent of the subject.
It is the only open-source Java implementation of a complete suite of standard optimization algorithms: linear programming, quadratic programming, second order conic programming, semi-definite programming, sequential quadratic programming and heuristic methods.
The source is https://math.nist.gov/javanumerics/, but on that page, all I see is "SuanShu, a large collection of Java classes for basic numerical analysis, statistics, and optimization." Am I missing something? It implements a parallel version of the adaptive strassen’s algorithm for fast matrix multiplication.
Is there a source for this?
- Initially, I would have like to have seen a source for its features and the licensing, but that should be found on the official website. In regards to what should be included and how it should be organized (which would likely fix the tone), take a look at MOS:COMPSCI under the appropriate section. Pbrks (talk) 15:41, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
Physics of Holography draft
You have removed a large section of this draft article because of "copyright violations". All the material you have removed is currently in the Holography article, and I wrote most of it in 2012.
https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Holography&direction=prev&oldid=453253607
I proposed to add this new article to Wikipedia, and remove the more complex stuff from the original article to here in response to criticism that it was too technical.
I've looked at the article which you claim has copyright, and it looks as if it has taken material from the holography article. It has certainly taken photos from there including one I added.
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a0/Broken_hologram.jpg
I know there is no problem with anyone copying and publishing material from Wikipedia, but it is hardly reasonable to then claim copyright. Epzcaw (talk) 09:34, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Epzcaw: I see, it looks like they indeed just copied Wikipedia. Apologies for that. I noticed you blanked the draft because you believe it "false accusation of copyright violation renders it obsolete." While it does not, if you would like, we can simply revert the draft to its previous state. Let me know. Pbrks (talk) 14:51, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

Hi!
It seems almost impossible for me to get this page through. I see so many simple and badly executed pages that I can't believe have passed scrutiny. Anyways, please help me get this show on the road! You say claims need to be verified. Sure, but in biography (as an example) there is very little to prove. Date of birth etc and family situation... Where can that be verified? Artist history... Most of that happened before the dawn of Internet... I guess I can take things out instead, but I would like some helpful pointers instead of a general thumbs down, if you please.
Best Regards
Lommagubben (talk) 12:50, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Lommagubben
- @Lommagubben: Hi. Yes, it's true that many articles are not up to snuff, but due to the shear vast number of articles of Wikipedia vs the number of editors willing to fix those kinds of issues, well, we can only do some much at a time. In regards to your draft, also yes, Wikipedia does not allow original research (see WP:OR); if you are unable to find a reliable source for given information, you have to leave it out. Generally, that kind of information would be found in interviews or on the subject's official website. I also notice that reference #16 is sourced to Wikipedia. Wikipedia itself cannot be used as a reference, as it is user-generated content (see WP:UGC). Tidy up and remove any unverifiable information, and give it another go. If you have any other questions, let me know. Best of luck! Pbrks (talk) 13:59, 2 June 2021 (UTC)

Verfiable Identity based Encryption submission declined
Hi Pbrks,
I would like to have, if possible, some clarification about your review of my article named Verifiable Identity based Encryption.
I personnaly use Wikipedia to find very technical article like Identity-based Encryption, Elliptic Curves, Computational Diffie Hellman Problem. Those articles are as technical as what I wrote, and they also talk about a subject very close to the subject of my article. This is why I linked those wikipedia pages in my article.
I don't understand why those articles have been published on wikipedia and not my article. Can you help me?
Have a good day.
Cryptoaddict (talk) 13:18, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Cryptoaddict: Hi. Yes, technical articles are absolutely okay; however, the articles you linked are presented much differently than yours. As someone with only a background in mathematics, I can follow Identity-based encryption extremely closely. The article starts with the section "Usage" -- very laid out, in simple terms. For example, you have not even told the reader that is the multiplicative group of integers between 1 and p-1. What do the indices mean for and ? There needs to be more context. Moreover, the body of the article contain no references -- please include references (see WP:OR). Pbrks (talk) 14:27, 2 June 2021 (UTC)

I get it. My article draft has been declined so many times because they say "no reliable sources" 😭😂. I try my best to search for sources and find some, but almost all are unreliable. Guess I have to shorten the article then.. Oh and yes, I just used the term- 'legendary' because he is mentioned in only LEGENDS, and no concrete evidence of his existence is there. It's not puffery exactly but I'll remove the term anyway. Wish me good luck finding reliable sources :) (the signature's not appearing when i press publish changes so plz dont mind) Tulika and Satvik (talk) 15:19, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Tulika and Satvik (talk) 15:19, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Tulika and Satvik: Ah, I see. I was interpreting "legendary" as "extremely famous". Perhaps something like "Raja Rasalu was ruler of Sialkot depicted only in legend." And yes, statements either need to be supported by reliable sources or not included. Best of luck! Pbrks (talk) 15:34, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

I've spent more time trying to match the Asetek published page requirements and note the following:
when reviewing Asetek articles 27 references, more than half do not meet Wikipedia’s requirements: 12 are to Asetek's website & 1 is their annual report (48%), the 1 Slashdot reference is to a forum thread, the Kitguru link is to a Corsair article that only mentions them once, as is the Gigabyte link, and neither of Bloomberg links have Asetek content. At all. 66% of the references do not meet wikipedia guidelines.
Only 3 are to Tech Report, 2 to Gamernexus, 2 I added before are legit and another 2 are the same as I've referenced for the CoolIT company. only 9 references (only 1/3) meet wikipedia guidelines.
Therefore, if wikipedia only requires 9 references for an article to qualify, and there are far more than that for the CoolIT article, it should be fine.
However, if based on wikipedia’s standards, if the CoolIT article does not qualify, neither does the Asetek one.
Perhaps this helps one see how unclear the standards are.

- @TheGremlin: Hello. I did not review the article Asetek; I reviewed your draft (see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS). Your draft was not declined due to notability or verification issues, it is the way the article is presented. It reads like an advertisement, and is just a list of achievements and history. If you would like an example of what a good article looks like, see Systime Computers (yours does not have to meet that high of a standard, but it should give you an idea what what articles should look and read like). — Pbrks (talk) 01:38, 8 June 2021 (UTC)

- Would be great is wikipedia simplified their user interface as well. I've always wondered why they've never been able to do this. iwanturCAT (talk) 15:21, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
- I see I replied with a thank you here but it does not show up in the thread nor is there a link to it. Again, confusing, not user friendly, not intuitive. Wikipedia has a huge opportunity to become a better resource — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheGremlin (talk • contribs) 21:32, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
- @TheGremlin: Glad I could be of help. Just so you know, {{ping}} is for when you want to get an editor's attention on a page that is not their own talk page (editors get a notification for it already when its their own talk page). Yeah, a new interface would be nice; this is how its been for as long as I can remember. — Pbrks (talk) 22:41, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
Categories
Hey! Thanks for cleaning up draft category templates like you did here. Please be cautious about removing categories that are there. Category:American films is a non-diffusing parent category. Even though one of the subcategories is already on the page, all American films are also to include the parent category. BOVINEBOY2008 14:36, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

A request for feedback on rejected draft article
Dear Pbrks,
Thank you for your feedback on my draft Draft:Arctoris. You’ve mentioned that my article had “too many unreferenced claims and that every statement needs to be supported by a reliable source.” I have rewritten the article to remove any statements that weren’t corroborated by reliable sources and added new sources to any remaining claim.
I believe that all claims are now fully backed up by one of the 16 sources.
Please let me know if you have any additional comments or feedback for the article. I’m happy to revise it to meet the Wikipedia standards.
Thank you and best wishes, Sirotcra2016 (talk) 16:52, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
Attach EsportsEarnings
Pbrks,
Just wondering why you have reversed multiple additions to the wikipedia page for Dillon Price, AKA "Attach". You say it is because Esportsearnings is an unreliable source. As a point of reference EsportsEarnings.com is the most comprehensive and accurate source in the world. They literally update their site within hours of a change for each pro gamer as they earn money through tournaments.
Every one of the updates over the past few years have been completely accurate and correct. We are just trying to provide the public with an up to date, accurate content. Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8000:fc03:a19b:6d59:8e10:4c64:a6d6 (talk • contribs)

Requesting help on an image
Hi Pbrks—you seem to be especially experienced in high-quality pictures. I brought Portrait of a Musician to featured status a few months ago and am concerned about the low quality lead image. I uploaded it from here but the quality lessened the way I did so. As an area I'm not particularly familiar with, I was wondering if you might be able to assist with uploading a higher quality image from either the Ambrosiana link or Google Arts and Culture. Best – Aza24 (talk) 00:09, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Aza24: Sure thing. To get the best possible image, I need to stitch together 323 images (not as bad as it sounds), so I'll have it done in a day or so. — Pbrks (talk) 01:21, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
- Pbrks, thank you so much—I sure hope that's not as bad as it sounds, because it sounds pretty bad! Out of complete curiosity, with all of that effort, do you think you'll end up putting it through FPC? No pressure of course, but I will note that there are already 5 (6?) other Leonardo painting FPs, so it would find nice company. Aza24 (talk) 01:33, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Aza24: Okay, I'm finished. I hope you don't mind, but I uploaded over the version you had. I don't think I'll nominate it, as I'm not too familiar with the FPC process for jpg images, but if you believe it qualifies for the distinction, I urge you to nominate it! If you need any adjustments on it or anything else, let me know! — Pbrks (talk) 03:37, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
- It looks incredible, wow! Thank you. If you have any interest, the two detail images in the description section might look better as crops of your new image (particularly the sheet music one—which could certainly be zoomed in more than the current one), but if you're too busy or otherwise occupied, no worries! Aza24 (talk) 04:30, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Aza24: No worries; I've cropped them at File:Leonardo da Vinci - Portrait of a Musician - Pinacoteca Ambrosiana (head crop).jpg and File:Leonardo da Vinci - Portrait of a Musician - Pinacoteca Ambrosiana (sheet music crop).jpg. I cropped the sheet music one to include just the sheet music, as opposed to the way it is currently in the article. If this isn't what you want, let me know and I can fix it. — Pbrks (talk) 14:42, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi there Pbrks. You improved the overal quality/aesthetics of a few images I uploaded in the past, including this one[1] I was wondering whether you would be able to do the same for these two images?[2]-[3] - LouisAragon (talk) 03:04, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon: I was able to improve the images because a higher resolution was available online. I can't find one for the the second one, but one (only slightly better) does exist for the first, so I'll do what I can. — Pbrks (talk) 14:40, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
- Also, you should upload these files in JPG format; PNGs do not scale down for thumbnails nicely (and they are much larger in file size). — Pbrks (talk) 14:45, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
- Belated response Many thanks! I'm quite a noob/newb in relation to stuff like this, but how can I upload an image in jpg if its already saved as a png on my computer? Also, how did you manage to find a better quality version of the first image? - LouisAragon (talk) 13:52, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon: If it's saved as a png, you can open it in a program (like MS Paint), click "Save As", and change the extension from png to jpg. Not all programs have this option, such as Windows Photo Editor. If all else fails, there are png to jpg converters you can find online. — Pbrks (talk) 15:18, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

Andechs
Hello, thank you for your upload of File:Klosterbrauerei Andechs logo.png! Given the simplicity of the logo, I think it could probably even fall under Template:trademarked and Template:PD-Textlogo (like File:Logo Rothaus.svg) which would make it compatible with Commons and allow it to be used on other languages too. Thanks again for your contribution!-Ich (talk) 22:00, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Ich: You're right, the file certainly falls below the TOO in Germany. — Pbrks (talk) 14:40, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
On File:Beykent University logo.png, the upload log shows that you used {{subst:User:Pbrks/logofur|Beykent University|https://web.archive.org/web/20210517134114im_/https://www.beykent.edu.tr/images/default-source/news/y%C3%B6k-bahar-d%C3%B6nemi-a%C3%A7%C4%B1klamas%C4%B1-27.03.2020/beykent-logo.jpg?sfvrsn=14fcf51f_2}}
to create the file information page. However, since the URL contained an equality sign, the source was not included on the file information page. If there's an equality sign in the URL, then the source parameter must be named: {{subst:User:Pbrks/logofur|Beykent University|2=https://web.archive.org/web/20210517134114im_/https://www.beykent.edu.tr/images/default-source/news/y%C3%B6k-bahar-d%C3%B6nemi-a%C3%A7%C4%B1klamas%C4%B1-27.03.2020/beykent-logo.jpg?sfvrsn=14fcf51f_2}}
. This potentially also affects other files as equality signs are quite common in URLs. --Stefan2 (talk) 19:49, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Stefan2: Good catch! I didn't even notice it didn't go through. Thanks for pointing it out. — Pbrks (talk) 20:02, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

Cardiff City Stadium
Hi Pbrks,
Unfortunately https://www.cardiffcitystadium.co.uk/ really is a fan zone site only.
- It has no copyright information
- The official website (https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/) has "This website is © Cardiff Association Football Club Limited 2021. All rights reserved".
- When you click onto "Follow Us" (at the bottom of cardiffcitystadium.co.uk) the Twitter account (https://twitter.com/stadium_city) has been suspended.
- There is nothing to prove that it is an official site, unlike cardiffcityfc.co.uk/ which has the company details: https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/company-details.
- All the hyperlinks go onto non official websites.
- It has no Privacy Notice (every official site always has one of these (see https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/club-privacy-policy) etc.). I am also a Data Protection Officer, so it is the law (GDPR)...see https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-data-protection/guide-to-the-general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr/the-right-to-be-informed/what-privacy-information-should-we-provide/
So unfortunately, it's not an official site. I'm surprised that it hasn't been shut down like their Twitter account (https://twitter.com/stadium_city). SethWhales talk 11:34, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Seth Whales: Hi. Not to argue, but it does indeed have a privacy notice (https://www.cardiffcitystadium.co.uk/privacy/). However, it does seem to lack authenticity. Thanks for investigating; while I'm not personally convinced its not a site run by the stadium, I believe that there is not enough evidence to support it. I'll go ahead and revert the change (and remove the website url from the article as well). — Pbrks (talk) 13:07, 13 August 2021 (UTC)

The article Cloud9 League of Legends you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Cloud9 League of Legends for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Profit + Birdring Revisions
Hi! I’m new here and a big fan of the overwatch league hence my first edits being on a few of my favorite players. I was wondering why you undid them? Honest question, not trying to be impolite or rude in any way. Seoulsdynasty (talk) 23:32, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Seoulsdynasty: Hi, and welcome! The images were removed because they are not free; they are owned by the Overwatch League. For the most part, you cannot upload files that are owned by someone else, unless they have explicitly released it under a free-to-use license (there is an exception to this rule, I'll get to later). As a quick rundown, there are two places that you can upload images: here on Wikipedia, and over at Wikimedia Commons (where you uploaded the images).
- Now, you can upload copyrighted images here on Wikipedia, but there are very strict restrictions to be allowed to do this -- what is known as fair-use (these are the conditions that must be met). The images you uploaded would not be allowed under fair-use, so unfortunately, they cannot be used here on Wikipedia. Let me know if you have any questions, and again, welcome! — Pbrks (talk) 23:51, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
Thank your for the detailed response and hospitality! Hopefully next time I can do a better job and make sure everything is all good before publishing the revisions I make. Seoulsdynasty (talk) 10:02, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

Clarification needed
Hello, I would like to know why this edit: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1045254823
What was wrong with the logos? I cannot understand. Allions (talk) 09:17, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Allions: Per WP:NFC:
The NFCI#2 allowance for logos only applies to the use of the logo on the infobox or lede for the stand-alone article about the entity, and should reflect its most current logo. The use of historical logos for an entity is not allowed, unless the historical logo itself is described in the context of critical commentary about that historical logo.
— Pbrks (talk) 11:46, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ok, acknowledged … thank you. I'll try to put them back on a paragraph with critical commentary in the coming weeks. Allions (talk) 14:31, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
Jeff Kaplan Undo Edit
Hey,
What do you mean Wowhead is an unreliable source? It's the most updated and accurate source for everything Blizzard related.
Besides, try googling "Jeff Kaplan" and going to the News page, there's TONS of sites reporting on this.
The Overwatch 2 references were removed, Blizzard issued a statement. Also I should add, Blizzard said they'll be removing all references to employees from their games following the lawsuits and problems they have with the company right now.
Thanks.
Edit: The change can also be seen on the Overwatch Twitter in a video at 1:02 to 1:09 here: https://twitter.com/PlayOverwatch/status/1441921019439194112
I can understand your thinking and I’m not trying to be boss here. Just know that the statement you made (What do you mean Wowhead is an unreliable source? It's the most updated and accurate source for everything Blizzard related.) is just an opinion. Please consider it and try to make it in a more neutral. Also, please write your username and link it on the end of your message. Thanks! User:Redrafting — Preceding undated comment added 01:45, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Redrafting: Ah, I see the confusion in regards to the below section, no worries! In regards to Wowhead, it would not be considered a reliable source by Wikipedia's standards, as "by gamers, for gamers" websites are generally not. As far as I can tell, the writers have no professional credits and I see no no editorial policy. – Pbrks (t • c) 02:06, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

About Virtus.Pro
Hello, sir! I have just added about their achievements Do you want me to add sources about every tournament they won? I apologize if it is goofy question, but I really don't know hot to add info about achievements in another way. But, for sure, if I will add this, there will be a lot of links (devoted to each tournament). Or I can put a link to their official website. Looking forward to solve this! https://virtus.pro/awards?categories=csgo https://virtus.pro/awards?categories=dota2 JamelCad (talk) 09:19, 14 October 2021 (UTC) JamelCad
- @JamelCad: Hello. Yes, every claim needs to be supported by a reliable source. The links you provided here would qualify as (primary) reliable sources. I'd recommend putting them after the table as something like:
- Source:<ref>{{cite web |url= |title= |access-date= |website= }}</ref> – Pbrks (t • c) 19:09, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
GFDL
Hi! You have uploaded a few files with the license {{GFDL}}. Per {{No more GFDL}} files licensed GFDL only is no longer acceptet after August 1 2021. Perhaps you could also add {{cc-by-sa-4.0}} for example? --MGA73 (talk) 10:42, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
- @MGA73: Hello. Could you be more specific? Ive probably uploaded near 1,000 files since August 1, and I don’t recall uploading any files under GFDL where I was the author. Thanks. – Pbrks (t • c) 14:12, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hi! Sure it's File:Blade Element Momentum Setup.svg, File:Endwall losses in turbomachinery (cropped).png and File:Field of View v Magnification chart (cropped).png. If you are not the author perhaps you can add a better source? --MGA73 (talk) 14:28, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
- @MGA73: Thank you. The first one has been changed to {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} and it already contains the source. I must have overlooked linking the source images for the other two -- done. – Pbrks (t • c) 14:41, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

Complexity Gaming
Hi Pbrks,
Some months ago you agreed to look over an updated draft for the Complexity Gaming article from me (I've changed up usernames to provide a touch more privacy). I don't have a full re-draft of the article, but I did have an updated introduction and a bit of a history section you may be interested in. You can find them here: User:M4V3R1CK32/sandbox. I'd like to move away from this project and focus on some smaller-lift work with the copyediting guild (and also away from a page with the privacy concerns) but I didn't want to just leave this open-ended because you were so kind in your offer to look over this! I didn't find much else in the way of quality sourcing beyond what you had submitted on the talk page. I did try to preserve some of the wording and sourcing already there. Please let me know what you think if you are so inclined! M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 19:50, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
- @M4V3R1CK32: Hi. I've read it over. It's well-written and well-sourced, and would be a great addition/change to the article! – Pbrks (t • c) 23:39, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks so much! I will see if I can finagle this in! M4V3R1CK32 (talk) 15:13, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
Christeena Riggs
Hi, Pbrks. I am trying to update the article, "Christeena Riggs" so that it can be published. Can you tell me what additional sources I need to add to the article? I included several references to news articles, webpages, etc. to support the content in the article. I am not sure what else I need to add. Thank you. Jdriggs001 (talk) 21:20, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Jdriggs001: There are still unsourced claims in Draft:Christeena Riggs, e.g.
Riggs returned to Broadway as Louisa Eshton in a musical version of Jane Eyre.
Riggs' other credits include The Scarlet Pimpernel (Marguerite/Marie), Cinderella (Cinderella) starring Eartha Kitt, where she performed the title role in both the US and Canada, Grease (Sandy), 42nd Street, Kiss Me, Kate (Bianca), Pirates of Penzance (Mabel), A Little Night Music (Anne), Children of Eden (Aphra), Two Cities (Lucie Manette), Lil' Abner (Daisy Mae), Frankenstein – A New Musical (Elizabeth), and Wicked (musical) (Ensemble; u/s Glinda - US Tour).
Riggs is married to Jeff Driggs. They have two daughters and one son.
