Cory-Wright, Silston

Hi - you've deleted my entry on Cory-Wright, Silston - would you mind sending me a copy of the content, as I've made substantial changes and work on this, but didn't retain a copy. I'll review the material and resubmit, without breaching copyright this time. Thanks

Hi - I am trying to post an article that is fully referenced and is completely public domain. I have spent many hours in effort to make this article completely plagiarism free. Could you please undelete my article and if you have any specific errors that you find, could you let me know. Thank you. Trina Maeser 09:33, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the info. I was actually trying to use the 'Loan Modification' title. The reason that a lot of information is the same is because they are government guidelines and policies. What are your thoughts on uploading this particular type of information? Should I still put them into my own words? Trina Maeser 09:43, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for all of your help. I will work on those sections. One more thing? Is there any way I could change the header page to 'Loan Modification'. That was my original intention, but I didn't know how to correctly input it for the first time. Thanks again! Trina Maeser 09:52, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

That's great! Thank you for the quick response! Trina Maeser 09:57, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I was wondering when you get a chance, if you could review the article again? I just wanted to make sure that everything on the page was compliant so far. Thank you for the input! Trina Maeser 21:25, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Thank you! Trina Maeser 23:51, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi, Were you able to go over the rest of my page? Thank you for your time! Trina Maeser 15:07, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Wow! Thank you! You definitely made me feel great! I really appreciate all of your help! This was a fun first experience in researching and developing an article. I will definitely be interested in doing another. Thanks again. munch.. But really I think you deserve the cookie! cookie What a neat idea! :)

Hi - I am trying to post this article and I was not finished. I think I created links incorrectly as I was linking to other wiki pages. Can you please undelete while I work on it? Starcatcana (talk) 19:56, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Would you please do me a favor and look at the page again? I want to know if you see any reason to delete it again. I want to be sure I am in compliance! Also, is there a way I can upload the image? I do not know if I will ever qualify as an uploader, and would like to submit a picture for this article. Thank you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Starcatcana (talkcontribs) 22:13, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Re your message: I noticed that you had returned. I was about to leave you a note when I got distracted and needed an ice cream break. Try not to let the vandals bug you. You spurred me in to action

I just did what I probably should have done weeks ago and sent the whole of my stalker's sockfarm to checkuser for an IP check. Not sure what will come of it as fear that will require an unfeasibly huge range-block but if I don't ask I'll never know. So, thank you for finally making me realise quite how unacceptable the whole situation is. Cheers, Nancy talk 20:33, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Protected

Semi-protected your user and user talk. Also blocked the IP for a week for what it's worth (not a lot I fear). Nancy talk 07:41, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Not wanting to tempt fate.....

....but I'm going to, obviously. Since you and J declared your support on my talk page I have not had a visit from my little friends, that's five or six days now and considering they were on there every night for the past month I'd consider that a result. So THANK YOU a million times THANK YOU ....now stand by for an onslaught in the next 24 hours...... Still no movement on my request for an IPCheck but things seem to move at a snails pace over there (and to be honest the checkusers have a heap of far more encyclopaedia-threatening cases to deal with which rightly take precidence over my stalker problem. Assumnig good faith, biting the newbies, and User talk:Goatsejames

Hello: I saw your comment on Goatsejames's user talk page and I wanted to drop you a line. You wrote on his talk page that "It's obvious by your username you have no intention of contributing in a constructive manner and have been reported as such." While it's quite clear that's an unacceptable username, I still think it's worthwhile to assume good faith and not bite the newbies in dealing with a situation like that. I checked the user's contribution history and they haven't made any edits yet, so it's hard to say whether s/he intends to be a vandal or not. It's always possible that it's a genuine new user with extremely bad taste in usernames. If it's even possible there's good faith and a mistake, rather than nefarious intent, it's always best to be nice, say something like "You may not be aware of this, but wikipedia doesn't allow just any username, and a username refering to goatse violates our policy against obscene usernames. You should feel free to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, but I recommend you register a different account to do it under. Your username has been reported as obscene and will probably be blocked." That way, if it's a vandal, they're still locked out of the account, but if it's a kid with a bad sense of humor, but that would make good edits, he'll come back with an acceptable name, rather than walk away thinking that "those wikipedians are just a bunch of dicks." The bottom line is that it costs nothing to both report the username and also assume goof faith, so why not do so? ⇔ ÆS dt @ 00:52, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Sarah Geronimo

OK, so I've read about your comments about the article being a target by fans. Hmm, I guess they were driven by their ill obsession with Sarah (or with other artists) to sprinkle the article with POV and write it in an inappropriate and unnecessary tone. It's like those fanboys who routinely mess up the High School Musical article or Avril Lavigne, thinking that they can add anything and everything to it. I think these Sarah fanboys may should seek help for their obsession. Blake Gripling (talk) 01:03, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Re:On the money, bro.

I would like to have these fanboys slapped for good... Blake Gripling (talk) 01:49, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

I admit, I am a Strawberry Shortcake fanboy, but I edit in a responsible manner and note that any fannish edits to the articles that I edit will be reverted. But these Sarah fanboys need to seek some help regarding their obsession. Blake Gripling (talk) 02:11, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Regarding MascotGuy, yep, seen 'em. I'm an Eloise fan, and it seems as though this guy's been into messing things up in there. It is assumed that he has autism, and his mother limits his online time. There are two things that I think that can keep him from bothering us: have his mum block access to Wikipedia, or something like that. I feel sorry for the guy, but I guess he needs to cool down and stuff. Blake Gripling (talk) 02:49, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Catching that one vandal

Good work! But try to do it with as little ceremony as possible. Post on AIV with a terse note, tag his userpage, redirect his talk page to his userpage, and forget about it. WP:DFTT really does work. BTW, you really weren't kidding that he is stupid. Unfortunately, his ISP is too big for a rangeblock :( J.delanoygabsadds 06:31, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

    • Adding here with my best wishes (after you reversion of the comment on my talk page).
Hi PMDrive - my suggestion is in cases such as this (so that we are all following the AIV reporting rules) is that you either leave myself a note (or someone else) that you have another sock and I will monitor it out of the AIV spectrum to block immediately upon the first vandal edit. The fact is (whilst I am not at all naive) an editor who is legitimate might create a name that fits within Lyle's MO but isn't Lyle and s/he would be blocked illegitimately. The problem with your current reports (and I have noted your great work at AIV and believe I have blocked on your request before) is that you are giving us so very little information and technically are asking us to break the rules. That said, (as my administrator history will show) I will jump to the cause every time there is a vandal that needs to be blocked.--VS talk 08:13, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Fun

Thanks, hehe. Yes... It can be very frustrating that kids do this kind of thing.. and you know what, I'm going to give you a secret:

I am a reformed vandal. A very, very, very, very long time ago, when this account was created, I went to high-school. My attempt at vandalism was uploading a modified picture: Basically, a, One cannot simply rock into Mordor meme. I uploaded the image, but then I couldn't figure out how to put it on the page, as I was not use to the code. Since I could not understand the markup, I quickly gave up.

A about a year later, I returned, and started constructively editing. I don't like to admit this, because it was ... well, I just don't like to .. I feel the need to prove myself, and that proof exists that I was an attempted vandal at some point is like a strike on my record as a constructive editor. After the Vanboto incident, I improved, at least in terms of civility. I don't think I'll ever be able to write an article, I don't feel up to the task. I'll just stay with reverting vandalism for now.— dαlus Contribs /Improve 06:33, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Thank you.— dαlus Contribs /Improve 07:25, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

MG

FYI. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:42, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Re your message: It wasn't a public IP. It was another DSL IP. I don't think anybody is copying MG. I suspect that it is the same person and he just unfortunately has a neurological disorder. There is not much one can do except to WP:RBI and request another CU should new accounts show up. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:14, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

(undent) MG reminds me of Bambifan101 (yet again being discussed on AN [1] as you might have noticed) in the way both may have some neurological disorder, both target very specific articles and neither seem to be able to recognise the general damage they cause. That alone isn't unique, these issues have occurred before and most times IPs get locked down and RBI can be fully enforced but both BF101 and MG are different in that you cannot enforce it because they jump around so much and their IP pool(s) is/are so large that it's simply not possible to end it without creating an issue for other people. BF101 is a lot more prevalent because he targets a larger set of articles and also edits on Simple English wiki amongst others but as mentioned in that thread, neither are any more different than anyone else listed on WP:LTA. The thing is though that both happen to be fairly similar enough and rangeblocks have been put up for 3 different /19 ranges which BF101 have used and I can't see how the same thing can't happen in this case because they both have the same MO and both need to be stopped. treelo radda 12:58, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

I've been framed, I tell you. Framed! Just kidding; looks like I was clobbered by mistake. No hard feelings. It's funny, actually.

Note:

  • In some cases, a user may not in fact be blocked, or their block may be expired. Please check your block log. If no blocks are listed, or the latest one has already expired, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.

{{unblock reviewed|1=I've been framed, I tell you. Framed! Just kidding; looks like I was clobbered by mistake. No hard feelings. It's funny, actually.|decline=reason — ~~~~}}
If you accept the request (note that you can NOT unblock your own account), replace the unblock template with {{tlx|unblock|reason}}, and post the following directly underneath the unblock template:
{{subst:Request accepted|1=reason}}
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Fair enough; I was assuming there was something like that. I take it you've applied to have his arse (or this account's arse) blocked? That's alright. I'll get right on it. Ironholds (talk) 03:24, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
I'll keep looking. I'm going to submit it as a standard report since a sock report would take too long to process and inform him that the game is up. Ironholds (talk) 03:28, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Suggestion, actually; see if you can find an online checkuser, get them to check the accounts and you can cut him off for at least a few more days. Ironholds (talk) 03:30, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Forget about it, everyone looses their cool sometimes. After looking at the LTA report I can understand why. Want me to look for a checkuser? Ironholds (talk) 03:32, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
I don't think rollback would work, since yours were the first page edits. Checkusers are selected to give an equal spread to every timezone; I'll look around now. Ironholds (talk) 03:33, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
I've left a message on Jayjg's talkpage; I'll poke you when the response comes through. The Bread for Bread editor

Hi. Thanks for pointing out the meaning of the username - its not slang I was familiar with. It's a little borderline but feel free to post it at WP:UAA - I'll leave the outcome to someone else with more knowledge of the term. You'll need to point out the account has deleted contributions as with the deletion of Bread for bread it appears they haven't edited.

Re sockpuppetry, the two accounts would have to be used abusively per WP:SOCK. There was no evidence of this in the article editing. Possibly the two comments on the talk page could be an attempt to show more support for the page than actually existed, but as the article was deleted anyway this had no particular impact.

Lastly, Bread for bread was deleted as advertising and possibly also lacking notability, but there was nothing to suggest its creation wasn't in good faith. The other editor's username suggests a conflict of interest but as with the sockpuppet claim that's probably something to look more closely at if the article is recreated or they edit further. Euryalus (talk) 03:23, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Yeah the redirect is actually quite sane. The only red flag was his username :/...I just can't trust a guy who says he's going to run around and create redirects while "drunk." My assumption (which is possibly stretching WP:AGF a little far) is that the username meant that he usually edits as an IP, but created an account so he could create some redirects while drunk, though not necessarily with any malice intended. Agreed that it's an inappropriate username, but I don't think he's meant any harm. All good fun... :) ~ mazca t|c 01:15, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

I hope you don't mind a little unsolicited advice...

but I don't think you are taking the right approach with the Bambifan socks. This person has piles of block-evasion sock accounts and has never been anything but a disruptive editor as far as I can tell. If I had been this person, your note on my talk page would probably have just encouraged me to keep up the "cat and mouse" games, like your current conversation on the latest socks talk page is likely to do. My feeling is that taunting vandals, telling them to "give it up" and so forth, is not a good idea as it just riles them up and keeps them coming back. In the case of a long-term persistent vandal and sockpupeteer like Bambifan, it is probably more constructive to not talk to them at all, and just undo their vandal edits and disruptive talk page comments, get them blocked, and move on. More information on this philosophy is here. Thanks for your time. Beeblebrox (talk) 04:58, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

That's ok. I admire someone who can go on a hunch. The problem is that going on a hunch can have repercussions here, especially if you effectively silence a user who may be innocent. Again, you may be right and this may be a sock of a notorious sockmaster, but until there is substantial proof for this the user shouldn't be treated as guilty. Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia safer, though; what you do is appreciated. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 06:23, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

MG is not autistic

Given how he's now gone off to bug the guys at WhatTheFont, the various stories from people who aren't him don't seem to tie together well. I doubt it highly that anyone has made contact with anyone who can control him and I also doubt the autism which apparently two teachers and his mother says he has. The autism thing now seems like a front, the more I read the less I reckon there's any condition beyond that of being a sociopath. The kid is an out and out vandal but thanks to a mental condition nobody can confirm nor deny he's free from any hard action being taken against him and therein lies the twisted genius which allows a smart kid to play with us like fools by assuming the roles of parents and teachers to create reason for near-random actions. Of course, I just might be wrong but no autistic kid pretends to be two teachers to get one over on people trying to stop him. treelo radda 18:02, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Cars Wig Wags

Better, but it's lacking... something... that would tie it into the film. It's still reading like WP:OR in that you saw something in the film and are equating it yourself to a northern california wig wag. The ref doesn't mention that there is only one place that has a double wig wag, nor does it refer to CARS. I know what you're trying to do, but other than point out where it's going wrong, I don't know if I can offer good advice. It would be like mentioning the WALL-E trash buildings were done in the design of 123 Main St in Anytown based on a photo essay of buildings designed by John Doe that, while he may have designed 123 Main St, doesn't have a photo of that specific building there. Bad example, perhaps, but I hope it made sense. SpikeJones (talk) 05:00, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate your enthusiasm, I do. You may still have an issue with "with a signal arrangement similar to the one in the movie" as there is no attached reference that states that the filmmakers were inspired by it. Similar, according to whom? You? If so, then that's WP:OR. Need to have that independent 3rd-party reference somewhere. It's a tough call, as I trust what you're saying is correct, but WP policy is to not include casual observations. SpikeJones (talk) 16:53, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
No worries, you just have to be careful about adding sentences that things "look like", "are reminiscent of", or "similar to" that don't have references that support this claim from the filmmakers (or whomever). Where YOU might think a vehicle is reminiscent of "Rat Fink", others may say that it's reminiscent of "Speed Buggy". Either case, we're looking at WP:OR opinion if it's not supported by a factual reference. An example would be Wall-E, where tons of fanboys were claiming that the character design was "reminiscent of Short Circuit" to the point where even when Stanton publically said it wasn't in response to those claims, they're still insisting it's true. This would be a clear case of opinion vs stated/citable fact. SpikeJones (talk) 18:24, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Indef block

Hey, try not to indef block a minute after I give a final warning, cool? :-) Tan | 39 15:56, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Re: Indef on Teletubbyfan66

Hi PMDrive1061. I am currently being tutored for adminship, and I have a couple of questions for you regarding this indef, which I hope you won't mind answering. If you do, fair enough, I don't mind :)

1: The account was created at 16:33UTC, 4 minutes later you had it indef blocked. Could you please tell me how you gathered evidence to make the judgment to block so fast?

2: I patrol the User Creation Log a fair bit, and I do see accounts of this type turn up, <something>fan<number>. What makes these ones so noticable as being socks of Bambifan101, when other users sometimes create legit accounts as genuine fans of something?

3: Could you please tell me, or give me some indication as to what to look for if it is a sock of Bambifan101, so I can pass on concerns from the User creation log if I spot names like this.

4: To confirm a sockpuppet, surely you would need a checkuser to confirm this. Are you a checkuser or did you make this judgement based on other evidence?

Sorry to take up so much space, and thanks for reading. If you don't want to answer, or you think I need to mind my own beeswax, you are welcome to trout me on my talk page! Otherwise, cheers! Regards, Thor Malmjursson (talk) 16:56, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

First off, I apologize for the spam. You are receiving this message because you have indicated that you are in Southern California or interested in Southern California topics (either via category or WikiProject).

I would like to invite you to the Los Angeles edition of Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art, a photography scavenger hunt to be held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Saturday, February 28, 2009, from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. All photos are intended for use in Wikipedia articles or on Wikimedia Commons. There will be a prize available for the person who gets the most photos on the list.

If you don't like art, why not come just to meet your fellow Wikipedians. Apparently, we haven't had a meetup in this area since June 2006!

If you are interested in attending, please add your name to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art#Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Please make a note if you are traveling to the area (train or plane) and need transportation, which can probably be arranged via carpool, but we need time to coordinate. Lodging is as of right now out of scope, but we could discuss that if enough people are interested.

Thank you and I hope to see you there! howcheng {chat} 00:18, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

It's because you need to be well-known before you are qualified for inclusion in an encyclopedia article. It doesn't make any much sense if you make an article about an insignificant or obscure person known only to his peers or relatives. Blake Gripling (talk) 00:45, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Talkpage edits

Hey, what was with the edit to my talkpage? The message was a (valid) comment on an article I'd prodded; just because said article has been deleted does not mean the message needs to be removed. Ironholds (talk) 06:54, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Well it wasn't really trolling, the user probably created the article in good faith and was understandably annoyed at having his work tagged for deletion. Asking nicely with good intentions and an attempt at reasoning (although without the involvement of WP policy) makes him the antitroll, really. Ironholds (talk) 07:00, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm also rather worried about the block. An indef block for creating a WP:MADEUP article and asking why it was deleted? Is there some further history here I'm not getting? Ironholds (talk) 07:01, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
How do you know it is 'feinged indignation'? It seems like you're assuming bad faith here. A single insult isn't reason for an indef block. The indignation might be 'feigned', and the 'I'm a fag' comment swings it that way, but alternately it could be someone understandably pissed at having their article deleted and trying to resolve it logically. Personally I feel you should have let it be to gauge their attitude with a wider sample of contributions available to you, but you are the man with the hammer, so I'll let it be. Ironholds (talk) 07:06, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks :). I'm unused to things I say on WP actually making an impact :P. Ironholds (talk) 07:14, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm sure you will; I trust all users to act responsibly with any errors they make until they prove me wrong. Everyone starts with a default level of respect and trust, I don't require people to 'earn' it. The exception, of course, is the user who replied to me pointing out his misused tagging by saying that it was alright 'because people who come to correct the tag normally fix what is wrong with the page'. Hooboy. Ironholds (talk) 07:23, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
No problem. And you're right, the site does need more users like me; one more. Then I can retire :P. Ironholds (talk) 07:30, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

George A. Brooks submission/ rejection

Hello:

My article was rejected because of copyright issues. Dr. Brooks was awarded the Honor Award from the American College of Sports Medicine. I referred to the website showing the award, which is apparently against your policies. I removed references to website during an edit, but the paper was still rejected for violating copyright. There are no copyright violations in this paper. I would appreciate an explanation.

George A. Brooks submission/ rejection

--Discusdoc (talk) 03:10, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't enter the signature on my other user talk.

My submission on George A. Brooks was rejected for violating copyright regulations (I referenced a website showing an award he received). I removed the reference, but the article was rejected for the same reason. As far as I know, there are no copyright violations in this article. I would appreciate a response.

I did not delete your article nor establish the copyright violation, though I did notice that it did seem to have a biased point of view, i.e., it was very full of praise and appeared to lack substantive sources. I did not get the impression that his work fit Wikipedia's standards for notability. The issue did not appear to be with the external links, unless the external links contained the same text, which would be a copyright issue. If you can provide two or three external sites (not blogs or self-published sources) that cite his notability, you might have a reason to appeal the deletion and recreate the article, though it needs to be less of a puff piece. -- btphelps (talk) (contribs) 19:24, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Ptahshepses article

Hi, I did not include a bibliography for the Ptahshepses article. I'm not sure why it was tagged as blatant copyright infringement - here is the bibliography. I believe it had references as well, which are indeed similar to a site on the internet. Unfortunately Miroslav is one of few writers on Ptahshepses and his mastaba complex, and there are few books and papers on it. Here are the references:

Baines, John and Jaromir Malek, Cultural Atlas of Ancient Egypt (New York: Facts on File, 2000), 153

Bard, Kathryn, An Inroduction to the Archaeology of Ancient Egypt (New York: Wiley, 2007), 145

Rice, Michael, Who's Who in Ancient Egypt (New York: Routledge, 1999), 159

Verner, Miroslav, Abusir: the Realm of Osiris (Cairo: American University in Cairo Press, 2003), 153

Verner, Miroslav, The Mastaba of Ptahshepses (Prague: Charles University, 1977), 136

Verner, Miroslav, Forgotton Pharaohs, Lost Pyramids: Abusir (Praha: Charles University, 1994), 117

I hope it is possible to undelete articles, as I didn't save a copy of the text before I pressed submit.

Hello PMDrive1061 :)

Thanks for your message. It took me a while to figure out how to respond as I'm new to editing / using Wikipedia.

If you'd like me to change my username, I'd be more than happy to. I just picked the first thing that came to mind after reading Wikipedia's warning about choosing any usernames that might reveal my identity.

I'm also open to suggestions, as I really don't have an attachment to this username and if changing it would make things easier all around, then that's fine with me!

Request reason:

Hello. I am very new to Wikipedia and did not realize that there was an issue with my user name, catharticfilms, being the same name as the name of my company. This, SpacemanVJ, is my new username. I had created a page for a film, The Long Way Out, that I was part of. I think the page fits all the requirements of a wiki page. If there is any other reasons that the page for the film wasn't posted, could you please let me know. I'd love to resolve the issue. Thanks so much. SpacemanVJ (talk) 20:10, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Deleted entry for Blowdart Game

You recently deleted a legitimate entry for a social game called "The Blowdart Game." I would like to know what I must do to have this page restored, or improve it to make it more accurate. I have seen similar game pages, but did not see one for this game, so I decided to make it, only to see it deleted seconds later. Thanks for any help! -DCPlatt

How would you like me to prove that this is not a made-up game? I'm sure within a few minutes, I could find so-called "made-up" games and other entries on wikipedia. Please contact me to tell me what I can do as I would like to have this entry on wikipedia for others to see and learn more about this game!

A quick google search turned this up: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2620666/1/The_Darting_Game. I realize that this is a story, but I didn't write it, nor do I know the author. Hey Man hows it going

hey long time no see, anyway i was wondering if you could help me out if its not too much trouble, i use an anti vandalism tool that shows me vandalised pages so i go to that page and I check it's history, now if I'm lucky the vandal in question would only make one bad edit and I can simpply revert it however if this vandal makes more than one vandalism when i revert the latest one all i'm doing is reverting to a previous vandalism which is pointless so could you tell me how to revert a group of bad edits. More importantly I hoped you had an awesome christmas and i know you will have a fun and produvtive 2009 see ya man. Blowdart desperation

Those are two independent, legitimate sites that I found. If that does not serve as proof, what does? Please answer me that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DCPlatt (talkcontribs) 02:06, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Could I then use that as a reference to make the real page? I want people to hear about a blowdart game, then go and google search to find more about it and, voila, there it is on wikipedia, THE information source that I use most often and has served me well... What rules do you not allowing me to procede?

PLEASE READ ABOVE.

If you will not allow me to make a page for whatever reason you have "made-up" (just kidding!), is there a way I could get the text I originally posted for the page?

What about this? http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=18345577840? Even if it has almost 3,000 followers? --DCPlatt (talk) 02:25, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Working on a subject

Dear, Wiki editors
I am working on a page which I may not be able to complete in one sitting. I was wondering if it could be undeleted untill I am finished. Note: I believe this subject is not on any other website so i will be going by the game website as well as the games themselves for the info. To conclude, I think this game would be a great addition to the already vast knowledge that wiki has. So please consider reopening the web page for further renovation.

P.S. The article name is Elebit Types. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheBeyond (talkcontribs) 02:46, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Notability of Element Skateboards

A tag has been placed on Element Skateboards requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Orange Mike | Talk 04:49, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

How did you come to the conclusion that Ramesh Dube was an A3 candidate? It stated his position in Indian government, and even contained a reference verifying his notability, so it couldn't have even been an A7. Dear trigger happy wikipedia admins. post deletion

Hello, I was attempting to make a page about a sports blog that I have created, but you deleted it. Why?

Thank you for your reply. There are various other blogs on wikipedia who refer to our articles, within their own articles, Deadspin would be an example. Would recognition by these blogs that were considered notable make us notable? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Willb241 (talkcontribs) 02:23, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

I think that before speedying that article you should have waited for confirmation that it is indeed self-promotional. The article was already listed at WP:PNT, so, since the language was either Arabic or Farsi, it would only have been a matter of minutes before that confirmation was issued by one of the regulars of that project. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 02:10, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Allison Huber deletion

I am Allison Huber, and I approve the inclusion of my definition as "a witch", with no conclusion as to whether I am a good witch or a bad witch. This definition is, in fact, true; therefore, it is not vandalism, and I seek to reinstate it. The original definition was made by a credible source, Joshua Conboy, whom I did inform regarding my witch-nature. Also, Bagels

May I state that the speedy deletion of the Also, Bagels page was unwarranted? The reason for deletion was: "No indication that the article may meet guidelines for inclusion" I claim that this was unfairly deleted, as you, the administrator, did not review the page properly. There is no indication that the article didn't meet the said guidelines, thus contradicting the "innocent until proven guilty" stand of this website. Comment? Speedy

Hi PM. I was curious about the Speedy deletion St. Joan of Arc School. It was super short, poorly written, and while there seem to be several schools with this name, I couldn't seem to find the one that was being referred to, but it still doesn't seem to me that the criteria (nonsense) or the speedy deletion were on target. Am I missing something or way off base? ChildofMidnight (talk) 03:25, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

there was an earlier version that was nonsense, but the latest one h was not; I undeleted it under the assumption you hadnt spotted that. It now needs to be merged somewhere. DGG (talk) 03:26, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Okay, no worries. And I'm a little embarassed about my "like this?" edit summary. Careful, Please

When you performed this move, you overrode the salt on protecting My Life Would Suck Without You. The proper action to take on an article that was deleted by AFD and has been recreated multiple times without satisfying the reason stated at the AFD (namely, actually charting), would have been to delete it. The article is create protected until Jan 19 for a reason.—Kww(talk) 04:06, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

It's got a CSD tag. Delete it, and make sure it is still create protected until Jan 19. Sometimes the create protection gets overwritten when things like this happen.—Kww(talk) 04:10, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

You speedy deleted this page, which is obviously correct, but for some reason you added G1 (patent nonsense) as a reason to the appropriate A7. The article was very clear and not nonsense at all, and for someone of 15 who has just seen the article on his dead mother deleted, it can be very painful to see your biography of her described as "patent nonsense". Please be more careful and less Wp:BITEy in future similar cases. Fram (talk) 13:33, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Brent Libby balibby

hi, I can appreciate your desire to keep Wiki clean, but you deleted an article I was creating about a historic place in California. I, too, am new to this process and was hoping for a little grace (explaination as to why, etc.). While Forest Home is an on-going ministry, it has been in existence since 1938, having been the site of Billy Graham's commitment to ministry. While we may not share the same beliefs, Forest Home is cited on the Billy Graham webpage and there is a historical work on the ministry called "One Mile Nearer Heaven." Please undelete the page so I can continue to create worthy material. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Balibby (talkcontribs) 00:49, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

inappropriate page

Hey PMDrive1061,

So I noticed that you deleted a page which I just created for a San Francisco based travel writer named Broke-Ass Stuart.

this was the message you sent me:

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 04:09, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

I was wondering how this could be seen as an inappropriate page and if you could tell me what I can do to ensure that my article is up to your standards for being left alone in the wiki world. I am a new member of the wikipedia community, so your input would be much appreciated.

Thanks and take care,

Setosis

I have restored the page. PMDrive, I came here to se if you had reacted to my post about an incorrect speedy reason from yesterday. No reaction, but instead I see this and note that not only should it not have been speedied at all (clear claims to notability), but that you closed this perfectly valid article as vandalism, which it definitely wasn't. I am tempted to check all your recent speedies now, because two such errors in two days seem to indicate a more serious problem and not a simple mistake. Please, when you speedy delete things, be more careful, both in the deletion itself (if it has claims to notability, either don't delete or do a basic Google search) and in the deletion reason (if you had deleted this one as A7, it would be a simple mistake: now it is a very bitey one, again). Fram (talk) 07:53, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletions and incorrect reasons

Allright, I am now going through your recent speedy deletions. Many are correct, obviously, but from my spot checks, I noticed

  • Shannon Marie, which you deleted as unverifiable vandalism, while it is actually a simple non notable A7 (it is verifiable, but it is an author of fanfiction, so has no place on Wikipedia).
  • Connell wagner: you deleted is as blatant advertising. It seems that you just copied the reason from an earlier speedy, when it actually was blatant advertising: however, the article you deleted was not advertising at all, but a nuetral description. Even A7 would have been a stretch, as the article claims that the company has some 4,000 employees in 43 offices. The 250 Google News articles mentioning the company (at least some of them clearly about the company) would have been a further indication that this may well be a notable company.
  • Conficker: the context was quite clear (it is a computer virus), and again, a simple search shows that it exists and has received a lot of attention. BEing very short in itself is not a reason to delete an article.
  • Crudo: the article could have been al ot better by wikilinking some of the names, but a new band which is the collaboration between two very notable artists is notable, and again, it already has a few Google News hits to prove it.

This means that from your last twenty speedies alone, four were incorrect. Could you please be a lot more careful in the future, and use the more negative reasons (G11, A1, G1, G3) only when it is absolutely clear that no good intentions were behind the creation of an article? New page patrolling and speedy deletion are important and much needed tasks, but we need all the good editors we can get, and seeing a first serious attempt at creating an article (often their first edit) abruptly deleted with a very negative reason (and sometimes with a warning on their talk page to stop as well) is the best method to send good editors running. Fram (talk) 08:47, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

PS. The Conficker page is now at In the News and has been viewed nearly 80,000 times yesterday alone![3] Fram (talk) 15:28, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

What did I do wrong?

Hi there PMDrive1061. I never posted an article before this but apparently you have deemed that my post on the Buckhead Grand does not meet the Wikipedia grade. Yeah, true. I saw that a while back ago and was very dissapointed. The Crown Vic had always been my favorite car since I was a very little kid, I still love it today.

Mine has all of the police package stuff too, so it runs great. Well I had them take out the spotlight and prisoner cage on mine, but thats just because it is my first car, and since I'm still very young, It's more of a "chill" car. However I've been saving up money already to buy my second one. My for the second Crown Vic, I'm going to leave everything alone except for the paint because I'm going to have it repainted. Around here the used copcar Crown Vics come by pretty cheap even in good condition so with my part time job, it should take me a little less than a full year, hopefully.

Still, No car could ever replace the one I have now, especailly it being my first car. --Derek19CrownVicLover (talk) 02:41, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I mean supervisor cars usually aren't put through the bashing most police cars go through. Well the guy that I bought this Crown Vic from gets them from Gonzales, LA. Gonzales isn't that crime filled, so the cars are kept in very good condition and are not usually bashed to a scrap. If the cars were from New Orleans, where I'm from, then I wouldn't exactlty trust the car as much. But at the same time, Some of my relatives own a '93 Crown Vic with more than 300,000 miles and it still runs, so that make me feel much better about my 01 CV.

True, detective cars aren't put through as much, but neither are small city PD cars, such as Gonzales.

I Saw a Commercial Enforcement Unit CHP Crown Vic on eBay not to long ago and it was great, same year as mine, fully loaded with lights in the deck and dash, pushbumper and all sorts of goodies. I wanted to buy it so much, but I still don't have enough money, and wont for awhile.

Plea for the case of Also, Bagels

Just asking about the page "also, bagels" that you recently deleted... It is now possibly elligible for submission, seeing as how your major arguements against it were it's violation of the WP:WEB and the WP:V, which it now conforms to. You had made the statement that you had "...Googled the term and it came up empty." You will find this is no longer the case, googling Also Bagels will bring it up as the first link. This was just the normal delay in Google's servers updating. I wish to republish the page and follow any direction given as far as quality and references needed. You had also mentioned that my username was self-promotional and was hoping that you could help change it. Recreated after you deleted it not long ago. I put it up for Prod, the first line says he is a well known writer, some assertion of notability...--kelapstick (talk) 00:46, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

anyway the prod came off so i am putting it up for AFD--kelapstick (talk) 01:02, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello again

I didn't come here with a poor attitude, I was simply telling you what you did poorly.

The thing is, I made the page for the movie, yes. Then I was caught up in something (I made my self some dinner), not five minutes later I saw my page was deleted. I was going to add a plot, who stared in the movie and details, but you have to understand that I need time to put this together, I can't simply make it all in 3 seconds.

PLEASE respect my articles, and if I am somehow breaking a rule, PLEASE tell me so next time I won't be, and don't "help me" by deleting my work. Help me by giving me constructive criticism.

Thank you.

FUTURE2FUTURE (talk) 01:51, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for your understanding, is there a way you could revive the page? I'm going to try and add a plot within the next few minutes.

Also I'm interested in little known films and rare music, so I might not know much about, however I want to start a page so others can expand the knowledge.

Thank you :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by FUTURE2FUTURE (talkcontribs) 02:07, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi

I have ben trying to construct a page and it has been deleted three times apperently and I ahve only just seen all the details on one of the messages left about it, I am trying to put up an article about a set of religious alws that govern the lives of a particular faith, as the transcribing was taking place the page gets deleted. Why is this article apparently not relevant when it covers an important topic. By the way this religious faith is recognised by the us government and I was trying to write about an area of that faith that has ot been covered yet, thankyou for your tolerance in dealing with this issue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyperchilled (talkcontribs) 02:14, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

User:Gort is GRAWP

Don't be clueless. If you have the tools, indef-block him. Warning is not appropriate. SBHarris 04:42, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Sorry if that came out curt. Reading your warning on the talk page gave me a bad impression-- probably overly bad. I merely suggest in future checking the contributions of a nameuser before leaving them a warning of any kind. It can save you time, since if the contributions show you're dealing with GRAWP (as in this case) the warning is unnecessary. The solution instead, is nuke and waste no time doing anything other than nuke. But you're well aware of that, as you make clear. So, nothing left but say but: Welcome back to the dirty mop and bucket! :) SBHarris 23:53, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Undelete Magic Ball page

Hello, Could you please undelete the page please. It was a placeholder for a short time and should be filled. It was one of the video games pages thats listed here: http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Magic_Ball_(video_game) http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_Network_games

What was your motivation to delete it anyway?

edit: thx for a prompt and fast reaction, page is now restored. Keep up the good work.

Hello,

Can you clarify this for me a little? I was under the impression that if you credit the source (which i did, in the references at the bottom) that you could cite information from other places?

if i'm completely wrong, i'm just curious to understand it better so i don't make the same mistake going forward.

thanks! --Cnuttin (talk) 16:42, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

thanks for the clarification! Sorry about that. --Cnuttin (talk) 16:48, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Excuse me....what exactly did I do?

How was starting an article on Calvin Coolidge's first inauguration "vandalism?" I don't understandEricl (talk) 23:19, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

again, what the heck did I do? Or is someone spoofing me?Ericl (talk) 23:26, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Calvin Coolidge's midnight swearing in was one of the major events of 1923. That's exactly what happened. They got up, read the telegram about Harding's death, His father swore him in by the light of a karosene lamp, and they went back to bed. There's more detail, but I wanted to save something before I went back with a more detailed narrative. That ain't vandalism.Ericl (talk) 23:32, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

First name was legally changed to Raymond in 2007. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lemert (talkcontribs) 03:38, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I believe the first name on the bio introduction should be listed as Raymond because that is now the legal first name, and only in the born ----- should the legal name at birth be listed.

Yesterday.sg

Hi,

I would like to request for permission to recreate a page on Yesterday.sg. I understand that it has been protected due to my repeated attempts to recreate the page. I am a fairly new wiki user so I do hope for your understanding in this matter. I editted the above-mentioned article for the third time as I firmly believe that it would benefit wiki users whom are interested in Singapore's historical and cultural sites. The aim of this page is NOT just solely to raise awareness about yesterday.sg. Rather, it is to provide an additional avenue for others to learn more about Singapore's historical heritage. We hope that individuals would be able to get a better understanding of Singapore's history through this page and to my understanding, that is what wiki is about; for individuals to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of a subject matter. I would appreciate it if you could enlighten me on the specifics of the page which do not meet wiki's standards and I will do my best to structure it in a way which is acceptable to your administration.

Thank you for your kind understanding. Appreciate any assistance which you might be able to provide.

I do not understand why you deleted Category:Disney's Hollywood Studios. The category is not empty, and your deletion comment is not clear (how can a category page be the result of a copy-and-paste page move?). Hi, I had a discussion in the help channel in IRC with Pmpanta explaining the notability criteria and so on. I suggested including reliable sources, and s/he showed me a couple articles that have been written about the company. I'm still not at all convinced that it'll ever meet the inclusion criteria (and I've told Pmpanta that). But I'm going to offer to unblock if s/he agrees to only work on the article only in userspace and not move it to the mainspace without experienced users' approval, is that ok with you? Thanks, delldot ∇. 20:13, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Request to reverse deletion

You recently deleted the Ism (punk band) page in error while citing a blatant copyright infringement. from CD baby. In fact, the copyright you refer to is, in actuality, the CD copyright of "Journey Down Your Drain" available for sale on CD baby. The band bio is taken from the band's myspace page and just happens to be included below the item for sale for CD baby. The bio is public information and is not copyright protected in any way, shape or form. It is available to anyone wishing information on the history of the band and was written with that intention. It is the most accurate bio of the band available anywhere on the internet and certainly should be included in Wikipedia. If you go back to the CD baby page, you will realize how you mistakenly confused what was copyright material. The owner of the copyright of the CD has confirmed this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.212.179.92 (talk) 06:06, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Request to cease deletions of stubs

Editors create stubs to fill in information linked to other pages. In the case of the ZuZim, Emim, Rephdim, Nephelim, these are pastoral nomads of the Seir who were named in the excretion texts of the Egyptians and in various Biblical passages. The references for these people can't be completed if you delete the pages faster than they can be created. Please undelete and discuss on the articles pages.Rktect (talk) 17:31, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Ravenbeauty

Hi There, I am new to Wikipedia and wonder what I did wrong? I wrote a well thought out article on soap maven Ravenbeauty. She is a very well known entity to the online community of soap fans. She doesn't charge fans for her weekly columns so there was nothing to gain by creating an entry for her. I had no idea I was promoting anything. We were all discussing how someone should start a page for her on a soap site where she was being discussed. The information was not taken from any other place. It was written by me, I did try to include links to her site and the sites she writes for (all free) to show that she is a real entity but those were unacceptable so what do I do? I thought it was actually well written and honest. May I resubmit? Your help would be greatly appreciated :)

Request to reverse deletion

I'm not sure if I responded in the correct section but will re-post here.

Thanks for the speedy response and info. I think it will be very useful to me in the future. However, once again, the site you refer is not copyright protected in respect to this article. You are seeing the copyright protection for the CD recording listed for sale. If you go to the official Ism website and click history of the band, they license the use of the article which both myspace and CD baby have used. Your recent vandal warning

Regarding this post, there is evidence that that user was warned for creating any inappropriate prior to this "last warning". Starting with a "final warning" without any prior warnings is harsh and excessive. Why didn't you start with a softer warning?. —Mythdon (talkcontribs) 03:58, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Flissterm (talk) 16:53, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Deleting the article RapidFeeds

You have deleted an article I began and your reason was "No indication that the article may meet guidelines for inclusion". I believe that only a few minutes after its creation you cannot have been in a position to make this decision. I went back to the article to add more content just a few minutes later. Also, when I was an active editor (years ago, true) Wikipedia was about collaboration when one started an article and others added to it. If there is a new guideline saying that one must provide a complete article at the very beginning, then I am sorry, I did not know about it. Vaganyik (talk) 17:19, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate that you restored the page and thanks for your polite and kind answer. I hope that I managed to write at least a stub for the article. If not, I am ready to face the consequences. :-) Vaganyik (talk) 18:51, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello. I understand the reason why you deleted that page (Skye Harbour), but, this is not a simple garage band. --[[User:Sirgreene|Sirgreene]] ([[User talk:Sirgreene|talk]]) (talk) 23:40, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought you might have removed a speedy tag from Skye Harbour? If so, since I've seen your excellent work around in new page patrol, I'm sure you have a good reason and I'd be grateful to know it. My own contention is that it doesn't meet WP:MUSIC, even though there is an assertion of notability not only by the unsupported statement of the article's creator but the winning of some sort of "battle of the bands" -- my understanding is that that sort of competition doesn't lend notability, but I've been known to be wrong. Your comments will be welcome. Accounting4Taste:talk 23:48, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Could it be #9 of WP:MUSIC ... "Has won or placed in a major music competition." ... that is the basis of this? I'll gladly defer to your definition of "major" since my own knowledge is limited. Accounting4Taste:talk 23:54, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for your help. From time to time, articles wobble on the border and I'm happy when we glean something useful... as I said, I see you working in New Page Patrol like me, and so you know how fast these things go by sometimes; fast decisions are not always the right ones. I always try to make it up to newbies who seem a little bitten, so I've offered as much help as I can. Accounting4Taste:talk 00:13, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

So I can do one because the world wide web hasn't heard of them?? Thats like saying someone found a star and because everyone doesn't know what the start is or even heard of the claim they trash it...

The group does Conventions and or Club shows in California, Washington State, Hawaii, Texas, Boston, Illinois, North Carolina... and because a population that out numbers the crowds that attend these shows is the reason why one can't post about them??

I read the policy, why would I make one if I feel that I'm in the right...a lot of hard work for nothing. shakespeare by the Sea Deletion

Greetings, I am posting to inquire why the Shakespeare by the sea (San Pedro, CA.) was given a speedy deletion by you under the following guideline: (A7: No indication that the article may meet guidelines for inclusion)--------An article about a real person, an organization (e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools), or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant. This is distinct from verifiability and reliability of sources, and is a lower standard than notability. A7 applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people and organizations themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software and so on. A7 does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance even if the claim is not supported by a reliable source. If the claim's credibility is unclear, you can improve the article yourself, propose deletion, or list the article at articles for deletion.---------

I believe our article implied out organizations importance as a local cultural organization that served over 15,000 audience and community members annually.

I am open to discussion about returning our post to open status.

Thanks so much.

Too often his/her IP gets blocked for 1-3 days and he/she returns right after. Why did you delete entry

Can a word not exist outside of the norm??? A word that encapsulates 2 different issues and combines them into 1?

Have we all become that narrow minded that simply because a word has been used we don't understand has been defined it simply does not exsist???

if that is what happens please by all means delete my account as well I will not be part of a narrow-minded community. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bengel333 (talkcontribs) 16:50, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

You deleted my entry for furneckular.. Yes there is no 'Standard definition' but my colleagues and I use the term daily and kind of get tired trying to explain what it means to others.

You called the entry (G1: Patent nonsense, meaningless, or incomprehensible) and deleted it without so much as a reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bengel333 (talkcontribs) 17:09, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

I accept your reason for deletion. You may remove my account also. The policy page is very clear and I did not see it prior to opening the account. As I stated earlier, I will not be part of a narrow-minded community, I understand the belligerent entries that happen (probably hourly) but when the definition includes the logic behind the term I fail to see how it can be dismissed as 'Patent nonsense'. Yes I now realize that it should have been placed in Wiktionary but as the policy you showed stated it would have just been deleted there as well. I respectfully thank you for your time on this matter. Please delete my account. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bengel333 (talkcontribs) 17:30, 27 January 2009 (UTC) ping

Deleted Article - All that work gone?

Hey there,

I noticed that you deleted my article on the band Sleep Room. I saw it was tagged for deletion, and inserted a (hang on) as I looked to ammend it (according to the requirements), but then you deleted it in a matter of minutes! Didn't really give me a lot of time to ammend it!

Trouble is, the whole thing is gone, and I had no idea all that work would vanish - don't I at least get a copy to re-edit? Seems a triffle heavy handed just to vapourise a new user's first article while he edits it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryucoo (talkcontribs) 18:41, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Do I provide links to the BBC and Josaka websites in an external links section (as I was beggining to do before the article was deleted, or is there another way I should be doing this?

Incidentally, does it matter if I am on personal terms with the band?

hey PMDrive1061

I thought Wikipedia was a page where everybody could contribute his knowledge and share it with others. As you already said, i wasn't intending to provide wrong information.

So what am i supposed to do now ? And what would you do if i continued changing wrong articles ?

Hey PMDrive1061

Thank you very much for your respect.

I use Wikipedia very often, people who change the text just to be funny are annoying me, of course, too.

You did a good job, keep on doing it. Thumbs up —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seehund92 (talkcontribs) 03:22, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey PMDrive1061

yes, i totally see your point.

but just telling other people to stop it might not always help, it's true that some people really disrespect wikipedia but others who don't might be a little pissed off in the end because they were just trying to help and they got yelled at.

what about making them proof somehow that their changes are true ? (if possible)

On WP:AN you said the article was well-sourced, but I've found no evidence it ever was. Still, I think speedy or prod is not the way to go. He appears to have won multiple contests and while the current prod tag says we don't have articles on them, that's hardly a good case for a country that suffers systemic bias. It's probably better to put it on AFD and contact a relevant WikiProject for help. - Mgm|(talk) 09:37, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Redirect of Slum brothers

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Slum brothers, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Slum brothers is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Slum brothers, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 02:59, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Getdata

A tag has been placed on Getdata requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Algebraist 03:54, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, uhm, why are you telling him this? All PM did was move it. Anyway, userfied now. (Note to self: Must stop talk page stalking everyone.) - brenneman 04:37, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Barack Obama (Comic Character) Image Help

New to this, but trying to create a page about Barack Obama as a comic character. I'm having problems adjusting the image size. Can anyone point me in the direction of what I'm doing wrong? Thanks. Desiree —Preceding unsigned comment added by Desireeu22 (talkcontribs) 17:15, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

I am an employee for award winning, world renown, celebrity, fashion, and beauty photographer Kenneth Willardt. The text that was placed in the article is the text that he wrote, approved, and would like to have on your site. I was wondering how it's copyright infringement if he himself wrote it? I understand you might have pulled it because of the similarity to the one on his website's biography, but since he, Kenneth Willardt, wrote it and wanted it to be on wikipedia, how is it infringing upon a copyright he owns? A copyright protects a persons right to their property, but since the bio is his property and he wants to put it on wikipedia it should not have been pulled. How can I go about reposting the article and getting it to stay online?

Chen Chimutengwende - Inappropriate speedy deletion

I noticed that Chen Chimutengwende had been speedied for "Article that has no meaningful, substantive content"

The text said "Chen Chimutengwende served as the acting Information Minister in Zimbabwe."

A3 says "No content. Any article (other than disambiguation pages, redirects, or soft redirects) consisting only of external links, category tags and "see also" sections, a rephrasing of the title, attempts to correspond with the person or group named by its title, chat-like comments, template tags and/or images. However, a very short article may be a valid stub if it has context, in which case it is not eligible for deletion under this criterion. Similarly, this criterion doesn't cover a page with an infobox with non-trivial information." from Wikipedia:CSD#A3 - The text of that article clearly did not correspond to the conditions of A3.

Also you did not notify me that the article had been speedied.

Please only speedy specifically according to the criteria. WhisperToMe (talk) 00:00, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Apology accepted :) - Next time be careful when deciding whether to speedy an article - Oftentimes I prefer to use PROD as it gives people time to correct any errors in the article. WhisperToMe (talk) 00:06, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

hi admin:

On the 29th of january you wrote "Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the PAK ABOAGYE article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted"

I wish to state that the biographical statements made on the page regarding Mr. Aboagye were in my own words.

The only copyrighted text are titles of his written books and I've attached web sources to avoid plagiarism. There is no text copied from those websites apart from the correct titles of books he wrote in the Nzema language.

Could you please point out the copyrighted statements apart from titles of his books?

Thanks so much for your great work in helping inform the world.

Adrian Silver-- deletion?

You replied saying that there is a notability issue-- if Adrian Silver is notable in that he is a distinguished young porn star, why is he not allowed to have a page? I can point out dozens of others on Wikipedia that has a page. If Adrian Silver is not allowed to have a page on here, then I suggest you start pulling all the other ones off of the wiki. This definitely does not exercise the original intent of a wiki. This is about as bad as the United Kingdom and China blocking off Wikipedia access.

Please reconsider.

Deletion of Apple Wellington Poem Page

This page was deleted on the ground of being "patent nonsense," however, it does not fall under either definition of "patent nonsense" given by Wikipedia. Nonsense "falls into two categories: 1. Total nonsense, i.e., text or random characters that have no assignable meaning at all. This includes sequences such as "sdfgdsfkgdyhkflmaololol;;'dsfg", in which keys of the keyboard have been pressed with no regard for what is typed. 2. Content that, while apparently meaningful after a fashion, is so completely and irredeemably confused that no reasonable person can be expected to make any sense of it whatsoever."

Wikipedia, Patent nonsense, available at, http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:PN (last visited Jan. 29, 2009).

The page had legible, comprehensible text. People were able to make sense of the text and its meaning. As a result, "patent nonsense" is not a valid basis for deleting the page. There may be other bases for deletion, but deletion on the basis of "patent nonsense" is an arbitrary and capricious use of your power to delete. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wellingtonapple (talkcontribs) 21:32, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

PS: I don't think you should be simply deleting articles without taking time to discuss or ask details.

As I know, you have deleted my writing on Dell Studio XPS, I acknowledge that it seems to be an extra useless article, but as you know the Studio XPS is rather a Studio/XPS Mutt so due to clarity reasons, I wrote it to improve searchability as well as the reason that the Studio XPS rather is not anywhere alike with the Studio and XPS lines since it got luxury and 16:9 aspect ratio. Please reply why you deleted it, any reply is appreciated.

Saint Casimir's Catholic Church (Worcester, Massachusetts)

Dear PMDrive1061:

I recently created the page referenced in the subject line of this message. You immediately deleted it, citing copyright infringement as your cause for action. I am writing to inform you that I designed and built all of the pages at www.stcasimirworc.org, including the history page from which the information was taken. I have written permission from the author, who is a member of Saint Casimir's Catholic Parish, to re-print the information as she is elderly and does not have internet access. How shall I forward her notice of granted permission to you so that the deleted page may be restored?

Saint Casimir's Catholic Church in Worcester, Massachusetts is facing closure due to decreased spiritual life and a shortage of clergy in the Diocese of Worcester. It is a notable religious organization as it was the first Lithuanian Roman Catholic church in central Massachusetts. I, and others, would truly like to see the parish recognized for all that it has done in its 115-year history.

Thanks for your help, and I look forward to hearing from you.

I am very impressed by the speed of your reaction to the article. You had addressed the reason as (A3: Article that has no meaningful, substantive content: No notability, either)

No, no cut and paste. They're my words from personal experience. I guess I shouldn't act like a writer and act more like an average guy. Maybe hire an attorney named "Frito"?

Apology accepted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Guido.pilot (talkcontribs) 00:17, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

YUM! Thanks PM for the cookie. Also, most of the references to him are in Spanish. Google has him in Spanish, as well as his quotes. Oh, and of course, the Frito reference was to "Idiocracy"...

not a real person?

Hi, I was in the process of creating a page and was deleted in the middle of the process saying the person isnt a real person, when Im providing sources. why is that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Simsimjazzyb (talkcontribs) 00:20, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

I provided a publication, a magazine link and was in the process of putting more sources. Is there something you need to verify the person? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Simsimjazzyb (talkcontribs) 00:28, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

How many third party sources do you need? Because the link I added (the 1st source) was to a published magazine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Simsimjazzyb (talkcontribs) 00:31, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Maybe Im not adding the sources correctly. Instead of adding the links after every fact about him, should I just add them in the external link section? --Simsimjazzyb (talk) 00:38, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for the help! I figured it out and have started the process of adding sources. Thanks!--Simsimjazzyb (talk) 05:40, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Hello PMDrive, the above article has been protected from recreation, which is fair enough after being speedied three times already, but I've found a pretty decent source on Eurogamer and Kotaku has several pieces on it. I was wondering if it was possible to unlock that protection so I could create an article on it, or if it will be necessary to seek wider consensus at DRV? If you can/will remove the protection I'll have some text in place and sources cited within 24 hours. Many thanks. Someoneanother 02:31, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Roy Van Den Brink Budgen

I find it outrageous how my page about this man was swiftly deleted so soon after creation. He is truly a great man, and his contribution to critical thinking, lunging and orgasmo-ideas should not be underestimated. He is the source of such inspirational phrases as "Yes, Yes, Yes, Oh God that's such a good idea..." and so on and so fourth. And with regards to the false information provided on the page, in my defence your honour, Hatton did it, then Diego unfortunately stole the evidence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roybudge (talkcontribs) 20:05, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Give 'em some time

Hey PM... I just wanted to drop in as I've noticed over the past few days you have been carrying out speedy deletions within minutes of the article's creation (i.e. Titanoboa - created 12:13, tagged 12:15, you deleted that same minute). Remember that some new editors will create an article with several smaller edits... so let's try and give 'em time to do so. cheers, –xeno (talk) 21:36, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Kyle Lerner

Why did you delete my page? Everything was cited, and just because you may not know who I am doesn't mean I do not reserve the right to have a page on myself to promote my band and facts. I HAD references. You're ruining my dream. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelerner15 (talkcontribs) 23:23, 5 February 2009 (UTC) It took a lot of time to create that, and a simple username change could fix the conflict of interest issue. I am set to get this page up, as it hasn't broken any wikipedia rules and I've cited references. It's an opinion to say it is only a marketing/advertisement, when wikipedia is based on facts. Why do you have to be difficult for me to create a FACTUAL page that didn't have anything on it anyway. The "KYLE Lerner" page is now blank. It adheres to wikipedia's main rules: make factualy information which isn't opinoin based, and do not offend anybody. Not to re-mention that there has been nothing under the "Kyle Lerner" article, so why leave it blank when it can at least have some fact? Thanks for reading the long message. I would appreciate that email, thank you. Is there anything I could do to make the article more notable? According the Notability article in wikipedia, "Keep in mind that an encyclopedia article is a summary of accepted knowledge regarding its subject, not a complete exposition of all possible details. For example, the notability guideline for people states that lists of people are not meant to be exhaustive." Now although I do see your point, but Britney Spears, for example was not originally famous. She needed publicity. And although it sounds like I want a "lousy promotional page," I have done some notable work for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Enough notice, at least, to be noted on the Stadium Arcadium page. And I do own my own personal business that is popular in the San Fernando Valley in California. I beleive that if a small single song such as Cheryl Moana Marie get its own page, why not me? Thank you very much. I appreciate all the time you put into this. Once I'm famous, I'll have a wiki page made about me by someone else ;)

Betchoice deletion

G'day PMDrive1061

Clearly this is all new to me. I tried to post the article "betchoice" I undertsand your point that it is percieved as advertising. But I went out of my way to check many articles about similar topics (companies) and felt that my article is less advertsiing than Wikipedia articles like Centrebet (similar company) which is approved and if anything I would suggest that the article is less "Blatant advertsising" than the Centrebet or any article I have read? I have made plenty of references and am using this article to learn all about wikipedia (to explain it and see if my kids can use it at school). I don't want to contact the company as they will turn into an ad!

I have read your all your help pages about writing articles and even asked my other staff memebers at the high school which I work at to edit the parts they found as advertising or didn't meet 'Deletion Policy'. By undertsanding the Wikipedia I hope to prevent plagarism in my classroom as well as use it as a tool myself. Thanks for your time.

Information about the use of a license tag in other films is not appropriate for this page. If you would like to make a page detailing the history of hollywood-used license plates and their associated references, then add it there (linking "PCE" to it from this article). It would be similarly inappropriate to write about the history of buck-toothed hillbillies in Mater's section, or how flashy lightning tattoos were the rage in pre-colonial America. Editing

Hi: I'm new to all of this, and frankly it seems a little complicated. I simply want to post a bio piece about myself. I wrote it. I simply copied it. The piece is posted on several websites---Screen Actor's Guild, IMDB, etc. It's not a big deal. But you keep rejecting it. Can you help me instead of telling me I'm disruptive and that You're going to cancel my account? Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ohyea3410 (talkcontribs) 01:29, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

I wrote the bio that you see. I simply copied it from my Word file. Are you suggesting that I re-write it for you? I like it the way that it is. It's my material, so I should be able to use it freely. I am the reference point on this piece. I'm not stealing it from any one. There is no infringement, as I see it. I want something that is separate from from other related links. This is the solo Andrew Amador link. Many other actors have done much the same. Thanks. First time poster (me!) obviously making mistakes asking for guidance

Hello. Could you help with guidance on how to make my first time ever post acceptable? I read all the guidelines and thought I had written it properly with "neutral content", but you deleted it. I'm not quite sure what I did wrong. The entry was for 'Green_Stuff_Absorbent'. Thank you for your time and help. Syosset1966 (talk) 00:56, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Syosset1966Syosset1966 (talk) 00:56, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Hello! Thank you for the reply. I did try to write the piece as dry as possible. I have regularly used this product (fire department) and took notes along the way. I went to the maker of Green Stuff Absorbents website to make sure my statements were correct. The rest of the material is my own creation. I added the three links at the end to verify what could be verified. At what point do words become copyright infringement or advertising? I was specifically trying to avoid those, but obviously failed. Any advice? Thank you again for your help. Syosset1966 (talk) 01:18, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Hello! First off, thank you for your help in getting my first time entry correct. I have added the text to my article in my temporary page within my own user space as you suggested. Please comment at the end on how to change wording so I don't violate Wiki guidelines by mistake. I am particularly curious as to which of my lines are examples of 'acceptable' and which are problematic. This will help me to learn best. Your guidance is much appreciated! Syosset1966 (talk) 14:36, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Excellent! Thanks again. The best I understand on the history part is that a company in Texas called Berryman Products owned and sold it before the current D2L Products. One of the external links goes to a Berryman page that still shows Green Stuff Absorbent so, the transfer had to be very recent. The salesman tells me the product was developed to be an improvement on the current clay-based "kitty litter" absorbents that have been the standard for the last 100 years. Our firehouse uses it and finds it to be a miracle product for common spills. We just don't have the room for the amounts of the clay absorbents needed and this Green Stuff saves us an amazing amount of space and weight hauling it around. They tout this as being "environmentally friendly" and reducing our "carbon footprint", which I suppose is probably true. I'm not quite sure how to say that in the post because it seems to me like 'hearsay' or the infamous 'blatant advertising'. How exactly can you cite something like that? The reason I wanted to post this product on Wiki is because other firehouses and businesses have been asking us about it and they wanted to get info from a source other than Green Stuff itself, which they assume will be too favorably biased. Again, I really appreciate your assistance in getting my work done right! Syosset1966 (talk) 17:39, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Wow!!! You know what you are doing!!! The salesman tells me that Berryman Products has fully tranferred the distribution of Green Stuff as well to D2L Products, so I guess that means Berryman is a past distributor. He thinks the transfer was indeed done sometime in 2008. Apparently, it was an amicable transfer. The product is exactly the same, just a new owner. Any thoughts on the "environmentally friendly" stuff? I'm torn as to whether that should be considered hearsay, although everyone in our firehouse agrees we are using way less energy with Green Stuff than our old clay absorbents and we are generating way less waste to be carted away. Syosset1966 (talk) 17:53, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I could see that to an extent. We didn't think it was notable when the sales guy first came by, but when we saw the live demo of it, our Captain was suddenly chattering with a million ways it could make a fireman's life easier! I think it is marginally notable at the moment, but it will be growing in importance as a useful "green" product. I suppose that is what Wiki is really all about, spreading the word on what things are in an unbiased, but firsthand way. I hope they keep our entry as I think people will use it and add to it as its use spreads in the market. It got me into Wiki as well! Syosset1966 (talk) 18:08, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! All clear for transfer? Do I cut and paste the entire piece including the links and the catagories on the bottom as well? Syosset1966 (talk) 18:19, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Question about CSD A7

Hey, question about CSDs. It is something I've been wondering for quite awhile but now I decide to ask about it. I was considering proposing Tony Hawk Underground two cheats (which you recently deleted) for speedy deletion, but I couldn't figure out which criterion it violated. I was considering A7 but there isn't really one for video games, et al. Is there a CSD for things that obviously should be deleted and speeedily (ie: very poorly written OR one of the criterion not listed in A7) but don't deserve an AFD or even a Prod? Whoever finally tagged it said A7 but I missed the actual tag. I want to know more about the intricacies of CSD before I attempt my eventual RfA. Thanks Valley2city 00:24, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

I recently posted an article about Sayed Jalal. Sayed Jalal is a candidate in the run for President of Afghanistan. The Afghan Elections are an important topic that many people are interested in. I was unaware of the terms of this website and due to that my posting got deleted. I wanted to know if the article can get unblocked and I would make the changes necessary to meet guidelines.

Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MktgMike (talkcontribs) 01:42, 11 February 2009 (UTC) MktgMike (talk) 01:45, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Originally I had posted accurate, legitimate information with references, not many but I was in the process of adding more, as I hit submit it states that my page was deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JoshinWinnipeg (talkcontribs) 02:44, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

I understand that my second posting was crap, the first page was accurate and legit. I Was in the process of copying from my notepad on my workstation and as I hit save it says that the page was deleted??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by JoshinWinnipeg (talkcontribs) 02:46, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

I will re-add the page with more detail, faster. I apologize for the frustration JoshinWinnipeg (talk) 02:51, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Gazinto & Gazottah

These are slang terms used in software engineering. These words are about as made-up as "Bawitdaba," (http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Bawitdaba). These terms are not spam or marketing, include citiation and are not slanderous or vulgar in any way. Please reconsider allowing this content.

Okay thank you. I am going to work on a new text for resubmission. What are the precise steps I should take once I have the text ready?

Hello you deleted the page that I just set up for Brandon Raynor's School of Massage and Natural Therapes yet it was set up in the same format as the page for Health Schools Australia our partner school. I beg to ask you what the difference is? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bala1811 (talkcontribs) 04:40, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your note; I don't really know about model airplanes; I work on main line HoSTC and HASTC companies; the reason being that it can be difficult to establish notability for VN corporate articles; for example see this temporally simultaneous discussion of Hai Ha Confectionery at this administrator's talk page - User talk:Jclemens#Hai Ha Confectionery. --Mr Accountable (talk) 05:01, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Sustainable Waterloo technical glitch

It seems that as I was tagging the Sustainable Waterloo article with lots of problems you were deleting it (I approve, by the way). However, I think by some wiki-glitch that ensured that the article still exists (just blank except for my tags which I've deleted). You may want to go and get rid of this spurious remaining version. --Quartermaster (talk) 17:07, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

deleting

hello i made a sensible article and was shocked to see that PMDrive deleted, i am trying to be polite but i have seen many other innocent people who have had their articles deleted. Would you please stop doing this as people do take time out to tell other people about usefull information to find it has been wrongly deleted by a mean person who is trying to spoil wikipedia for everyone.

I hope you will read this PMDrive1061 and take my advice to not delete peoples work that have done nothing wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dontthrowawobbla (talkcontribs) 17:11, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

CollegeWeekLive Deleted

PMDrive1061:

I am unclear as to why the page (CollegeWeekLive) was deleted upon including an external link. Please advise on how we can go about resubmitting this page.

I am unclear as to why you deleted an article while I was on the verge of creating it, talk about jumping into a grave before it's even been dug ! I'd just put the name of the football team manager in and then suddenly a delete message came up, are you having a laugh at other peoples expense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryangiggs69 (talkcontribs) 17:43, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi PMDrive1061, Sigh, sorry for being a bit OTT. I will remember not to save before I finish articles in the future. Thanks for the good advice though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryangiggs69 (talkcontribs) 17:49, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

! mmmm that was tasty.

CollegeWeekLive Follow-Up

PMDrive1061

Thank you for your response. I am still confused however, is there any way I can go back and edit the page which has already been created? How would I go about doing this?

Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Salvatoreg (talkcontribs) 21:33, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

The Better Life Band

I represent this band you keep deleting the page. What's the deal? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tblb joel (talkcontribs) 00:27, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

How do I add a hyperlink when I am posting an article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.120.129.27 (talk) 01:08, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

deleted Curtin University Soccer Club Page

why did you delete it? i cant understand. you suggested it was unimportant or something? curtin university soccer club provides a service to many internation students comnig to perth to study. if they want to wikipedia it and find out more they cant... maybe you should use the resourses like curtinsoccer.com etc to write an article that is more suited to put in its place if you think the article is poor... but jsut deleting it seems a little harsh/unfair.

Deletion request

Hi, I see you've deleted Manhiem scandal as a copyvio. May I also direct your attention to Manheim scandal, which has been sitting around untagged for a few minutes? I think the two were identical, but I'm not comfortable flagging the correctly-spelled version as a G12 without seeing the copyrighted material myself (and Google turns up nothing). Jazzberry Ram

I walk away for dinner after having put together the sidebar and tagged as a sub, come back to find it deleted. Come on! Sidebar had as much info as Hermitage_Bay, or 8108_Wieland. Ah well, added it as a request in the Requested Articles. Mr. Bene (talk) 05:44, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

PAK ABOAGYE

Hi Admin:

Thanks for your help with my first article. I've resubmitted the above biography as per your instructions. Please note the correct spelling of his name and edit the title.
