Removing speedy tags
Please do not remove speedy tags from wiki pages.Thanks. Planetary Chaos Talk to me 23:58, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Please stop removing speedy delete tags on Wikipedia, as you did to Fyodor (disambiguation). It is considered vandalism which, under Wikipedia guidelines, can lead to blocks being applied. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Planetary Chaos Talk to me 00:05, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
While Planetary Chaos was right about removing speedy delete tags, the disambiguation page nevertheless didn't qualify for speedy deletion anyhow. But please do keep in mind that if you would like to contest a speedy deletion, you should use the {{hangon}} tag instead just in case one of us admins agree with the deletion proposal. Thanks. -→Buchanan-Hermit™/?! 00:17, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:RiseAgain.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:RiseAgain.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image copyright problem with Image:Life Is Just A Game.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Life Is Just A Game.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 03:18, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Life Is Just A Game.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Life Is Just A Game.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. utcursch | talk 10:06, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Mesk Tower
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mesk Tower, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. Notability of Four Points by Sheraton (Dubai)
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Four Points by Sheraton (Dubai), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Four Points by Sheraton (Dubai) seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Four Points by Sheraton (Dubai), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot 04:31, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Saeed Tower 2. Thank you. While you have added an edit summary to this and several other articles, using an edit summary such as "Let it be" is not useful. Please be more descriptive. Toddst1 21:53, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Executive Towers
Executive Towers, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Executive Towers satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Executive Towers and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Executive Towers during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. —Gaff ταλκ 00:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Warning
I have added a speedy deltion tag to World Trade Centre Residence, this article should not be recrated as it was deleted via consensus at articles for deletion. The edit summary you made when recreating was out of order, the admins are not corrupt, nor did they vandalise it. If you repeat to recreate it, the article will be salted, making creation impossible by non-admins. Qst 21:37, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

AFD nomination of Elite Tower
Hello OOODDD! I am not sure why you've not been contacted, but an article you recently created (mentioned in section header) has been nominated for deletion at AFD. Please feel free to make comments. Thank you. Best, — Rudget contributions 18:03, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Dancing Towers Office, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
Pete Doherty
Please do not revert the "controversies" page redirection. The content has been left in the history so that appropriate portions of it may be merged back into Pete Doherty as part of a broader encyclopedic biography of his life. The separate page listing every single incident he was ever involved in, is unacceptable undue weight on that part of his life. Please engage in discussion at Talk:Pete Doherty instead of blindly reverting. Thank you. FCYTravis (talk) 22:31, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Dubai buildings
OOODDD, I want to say thank you for all your hard work. I have noticed that you have been creating most (if not all) articles about buildings in Dubai. Without you, I am sure the list of tallest buildings in Dubai would not be a candidate to become a featured list. If there is anything I can help you with, please let me know. Thank you once again. --Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 06:23, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I would also like to extend my gratitude. You have done a terrific job creating articles for countless buildings, which is easily the most time consuming task in brining a list to FLC. Would you be interested in creating articles for other city building lists? :-) Please see the American building list featured topic drive page if you are. Again, thank you very much. Cheers, Rai-me 20:30, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi OOODDD! Now that List of tallest buildings in Dubai is a Featured list, with your creating countless articles being a major factor in its promotion, I think that you without a doubt deserve this:

When you move an article like that please remember to check the "What links here". There were more than 80 pages that linked to Victoria Island and moving the page caused them all to point to a disambiguation page. Also you left this with a redlinked disambiguation. Cheers.
