Hi, remember me? Also, about Esperanza...
[edit]I remember that you offered to mentor me last month, but someone stipulated that whoever wanted to mentor me had to be an admin. Thanks for the offer though. I thought that was kind and I ought to nominate you for adminship sometime. (I'm not entirely sure how yet.)
Now, about Esperanza. Celestianpower told me that if I show consistently that I've reformed, s/he will "investigate the case in a couple of months time..." I'm curious- do you know any user currently in Esperanza that was previously blocked? I'd like to know more about them and see how they reformed, etc.
Lets hope I can impress him/her enough! *prays for it* --Shultz IV 09:57, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Trading Spaces
[edit] Hello, Master of Puppets, thank you for signing up to participate in Esperanza's trading spaces program. As you requested to renovate another user's page, you will be renovating The Giant Puffin's userpage. Please contact The Giant Puffin on their talk page about the renovating. The renovating will be listed at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Programs#Undergoing_Renovation, please feel free to update the status as it changes. Enjoy!
Saw that you already are working on Kalathalan's page - awesome! I will assign The Giant Puffin elsewhere. Sorry for the mixup! :) -- Natalya 17:59, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- It all worked out, I just swapped people! Thanks for offering though, that would be a pretty ginormous puffin. -- Natalya 05:00, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Very cool! I like the color and the different layout - awesome! -- Natalya 05:09, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
There doesn't seem to be anyone listed under the renovatees category at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Programs#Trading_Spaces, but I'd keep an eye out there. If you'd like, you can re-add yourself to the renovators category as kind of a continuous renovator, so if anyone wants their page renovated they know there is someone to do it. And I will be sure to pass anyone who's looking for an awesome new user page on to you! Your userpage (and the ones you've done) looks spiftastic! -- Natalya 02:14, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Just in case
[edit]Just in case: Hi, thanks for taking a look at my request, I appreciate it =). Erm. Anyway. I personally like green, and I was thinking maybe something more like Sango's? Once again, thanks :) Kalani [talk] 18:31, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Happy...Easter...or, wait: You mean it's past?
[edit]Happy Easter back...obviously, I've been on a WikiBreak...but it was nice to come back and see your cute eggs! Thanks. And, YES! Userpage=very cute! Nice, nice, nice! As for editor review...wow. *exhale* I'll see what I can do...although, you know, I've been out of the wikigroove for a while. Hmm....ok, I'll do my best. Talk to you later, best wishes!--ViolinGirl♪ 18:38, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
My first Imposter????
[edit]Is that a common thing? I haven't been around much today. I didn't/haven't time to read what they were trying to accomplish. I have been such a good boy...reverting trash as oft as I see it. Someone must have got TICKED at not being allowed to have their childish fun :) Thanks for keeping me up to date. Take Care! Anger22 23:37, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- I've looked at the edits and I still can't sort out what the user was trying to accomplish?? I have a question for you "O young yet SO wise in the Wiki ways of the force"....If the username was banned....why weren't their edits rv'd?(although 2 out of 3 of them seem semi-legit...I haven't investigated it yet) - I have a hunch it has something to do with a pair of sockpuppets I rv'd the other day. They were attempting to spam the same pages and I cleaned it. The socks ignored my edit and put them back in anyways. I'm not about to get caught up in an RV war with anyone. As it is the socks are already involved in an RV war with other users over the same issue. What is the procedure for looking after that type of aggressive "ad" pushing? I will AgF the whole thing for now and hope that it goes away. But in case I start getting attacked(you'd know about that....I've seen your page get hacked a lot) What do I do next? As always...thanks and take care! Anger22 00:45, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I've tried to make myself well versed in all the Wiki policies. I know 3RR very well and avoid it as best I can. I am always open to advise from you. You have been a tremendous help to me. If you have anymore tidbits to pass along feel free....especially when it comes to anti-vandal tools(my chosen forte). I am still learning where that sublect is concerned. I watch the CVU page for new items. I am still a long way off from actually putting that particular template on my page. Once I get little more educated, I may "clan up"...if you catch my meaning. CHEERS! Anger22 00:58, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Master of Puppets,
Thanks for the barnstar. Honestly, I was not expecting it; I was almost thrown off my seat.
But this barnstar - it's not all about me. This says something about your kindness and good faith.
Thanks for making Wikipedia a better place for all.
See you around Wikipedia.

Old Skool Esperanzial note
[edit]Since this isn't the result of an AC meeting, I have decided to go Old Skool. This note is to remind you that the elections are taking place now and will end at 23:50 UTC on 2006-04-29. Please vote here. Thanks. --Celestianpower háblame 20:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks
[edit]Thanks for the welcome. I see you're a Metallica fan; what songs do you like? My favorites are No-Leaf Clover, Turn the Page and Whiskey in the Jar. You'll notice 2 out of 3 are covers; I think Metallica are great performers, but uninspiring songwriters. My favorite album is Load; I hated St. Anger. I also liked the One video. I suppose I prefer the "sellout" Metallica more than the "hardcore" Metallica; but then, I'm not a huge fan of Metallica anyway. I prefer progressive rock to thrash. Anyway, thanks! - Yes, I've noticed. It looks good; I never really did anything for it, sorry. I'll try to work on it in my spare time as well (that is, if I can even find anything that warrants change). Good job :). -Xol 01:08, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Quick Question...
[edit]Just thought I'd ask yo quick. Are the latest additions by this guy legit? He's been adding review links into the "Professional Reviews" section of an assortment of album boxes where normally only AMG(or similar) links go. Just wunderin'...thought you could shed some light. Take Care! Anger22 16:03, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- UPDATE - someone else seems to have taken offence to them. Now if their were only a BOT made that could rid all the Album boxes of "Rate Your Music" links. Anger22 16:15, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
thanks
[edit]but I'm pretty sure that comment is vandalism. ILovEPlankton 00:59, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit]These edits I mentioned are from 150 and 35 minutes ago, repsectively Trödel 12:54, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- I guess so - it stopped editing a little after 6 - I just wanted to let him know because the vandalism to Wikipedia:Introduction is a little unique in that the first two lines need to be the same always - and it should revert multiple times - unlike other pages where it should revert only once - Trödel 13:18, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Fair use image
[edit]Hi, I was just looking at your userboxes and noticed one of your them contains a fair use image. I know it's very small, but fair use images are not allowed in user space. Could you please delete it or change the userbox? Regards, --JoanneB 19:45, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Question
[edit]Hey MoP, I wanted to ask you if you could help me a bit on this layout I'm working for somebody. (No, it's not the Trading Spaces program). Anyway, you can see what I have so far on my sandbox.
- Do you how to make the welcome header stretch across the page?
- I can't for the life of me why the caption under the wikistatus picture won't align right. I've fixed the padding and adjust the width, but nothing really seems to help or change.
- Is there somehow a way that I could make the last box stretch all the way cross the page?
If you're busy, then don't mind my questions. Also, good luck to your RfA — I added my support! :) (Great talk page design, by the way, I love it)! —Mirlen 22:57, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

My RfA
[edit]Thank you for voting at my RFA. Even though you did not vote for me, your counsel was appreciated. In the next few months, I intend to work on expanding my involvement in other namespaces and try a few different subjects than in the past. - CTSWynekenTalk |
Thanks for voting on my RfA
[edit]Thanks so much for voting! Thanks so much for voting on my request for adminship. I have decided to withdraw my nomination as it seems that consensus will not be reached. If you voted in support, thanks for putting your trust in me to be a good admin. If you voted in opposition, thank you as well for your criticism as it will only help me be a better Wikipedian and perhaps help if/when I apply for adminship again sometime in the future.

Age of admins
[edit]Certainly, it is possible for a 15-year-olds to be a responsible admin. However, from the perspective of someone who is much older, I find that it is less likely that a 15 year old has the ability to stand in the middle of a heated disagreement and keep cool. If Mets had a significant history talking to others, dealing with controversy, and discussing policy, I would not have brought up age as an issue, but since I did not find evidence of how he behaves under pressure age became more of an issue. -- Samuel Wantman 06:26, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
