Indent question

Hi there. Innocent question. In your post at WP:ITNC, did you intend by the level of WP:INDENT for it to be a response to my post? If so, it's not what I indended to to say. Best. —Bagumba (talk) 09:49, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Bagumba:. Your post indeed is what made me think of different ways forum-esque comments are made in these discussions. I didn't intend to suggest anything negative about your position; if anything I 100% agree that "ITNC should not degrade into a battleground of cliche opposes." Rereading my and your post, it was actually probably more a response to Masem's post, not yours, so I'll change the indentation. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 10:03, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
No worries. I'd be fine even if it was a negative reaction to my post, but first wanted to understand if there really was a disagreement or not.—Bagumba (talk) 10:09, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

Unsourced paragraph

Hi there, just wondering why there are no citations in the paragraph that you added to Universe of The Legend of Zelda? It took a long time to clean up this article and make sure that most of it is sourced. Fieryninja (talk) 07:25, 10 May 2023 (UTC)

@Fieryninja: I'm sorry for adding uncited content. I was mainly just bothered by the empty section and figured a small summary of the relevant articles would be helpful in its context. I know how hard to it is to keep articles like this properly referenced, I'm very impressed with the job you've done with it here. Feel free to cut and fix up the section of course; I've not done any digging in sources to write it. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 11:47, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
Hi Maplestrip, OK I actually thought it was a good paragraph, so I didn't remove it. I will try to look for some citations for it, but if you can add any too that would be great! Thanks Fieryninja (talk) 13:01, 10 May 2023 (UTC)

Hi! You commented at the WP:Peer review for Mars in fiction (WP:Peer review/Mars in fiction/archive1). I've been going through and tidying up the Pokemon series articles, trying to get them to GA. However I've been mulling over these two, and in both cases the anime trio is the actually notable part about them. Even in both articles, that's where most of the discussion seems to revolve.

How would you feel about combining the subject matter and reception into Jesse, James and Meowth, and making the article reception focus on the trio? Kung Fu Man (talk) 03:51, 7 August 2023 (UTC)

@Kung Fu Man: I would almost certainly be in favor of merging Meowth into Team Rocket. Right now, the way I've set up Team Rocket it's a bit of a coatrack covering the entire concept of the crime syndicate. I do personally think it's helpful to give that type of context, tie Giovanni into the larger subject, and to put the anime trio on the same level as the team in the games. Moreover, it's actually quite hard to find solid sourcing for Team Rocket. If you think an article structured completely around the trio is going to work better, I am happy to see you pull it off. I do think you need more quality sources to make it GA than I've been able to find. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ's talkpage comments definitely suggests it's already at the lower edge of WP:N and that's after combining the anime and game represations... ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 07:12, 7 August 2023 (UTC)

New edits on Adult animation page

I'm not sure if you have seen them yet, but there have been addition of some new sections on the Adult animation page (they seemed relatively well-sourced to me). I thought they would be of interest, considering you started the adult animation draft after all. Hope you are doing well. Historyday01 (talk) 14:29, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

@Historyday01: It's a very solid section and I also like the new image. It's probably very representative of what people are saying about "adult animation." I am personally saddened to see the Oscars in central focus, but I guess the nature of controversy is that that's where our best sources lie. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I completely glazed over these edits in my watchlist! My draft is probably of much lower relevance now. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 15:18, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
I have to agree. Yeah, it is unfortunate to see the Oscars getting the central focus, but it makes sense, I suppose, as many good sources are there. I'm not sure its of lower relevance. As I see it, the ideas for your draft can be easily incorporated into the existing text. The page has come a LONG way from where it was even a few years ago, and that's great to see. Historyday01 (talk) 15:27, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
@Historyday01: Yeah I much prefer it now over what it was. I would want to remove a bunch of the Oscars drama and replace it with more serious literature, but at the very least it is very representative now of how people talk about animation. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 15:30, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
