G U H O O Y A M F
Hello Lance, with all respect I have done my reaserch with the necesary citations and all, and even the film itself is recognized by many people as a satirical black comedy drama film, even wikipedia says it here https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/American_Beauty_(1999_film)#External_links, so there you go I´ve got enough evidence that American Beauty IS actually a black comedy satirical drama, and I would really appreciate if you stopped taking out my sources and my editting because I have to do my research all over again. Ok, thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by CHCHque verchis (talk • contribs) 19:16, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, CHCHque verchis. I believe you are mistaken, as I have not taken out any sources or citations and another editor has reverted your edits and has added an edit summary explaining that, although many sources say that it is indeed black comedy and satire, the consensus is to exclude the genres from the lead section. ~Liancetalk/contribs 19:21, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
cdommonly
Hello, Why is my first edit unconstructive? I just changed cdommonly for commonly because the article had a sign that said spelling needed to be improved. I don't understand why you put that message on my talk page. If I did something wrong please let me know what. --Ateneas Tree (talk) 21:11, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

WikiCup 2015 September newsletter
The finals for the 2015 Wikicup has now begun! Congrats to the 8 contestants who have survived to the finals, and well done and thanks to everyone who took part in rounds 3 and 4.
In round 3, we had a three-way tie for qualification among the wildcard contestants, so we had 34 competitors. The leader was by far Casliber (submissions) in Group B, who earned 1496 points. Although 913 of these points were bonus points, he submitted 15 articles in the DYK category. Second place overall was Coemgenus (submissions) at 864 points, who although submitted just 2 FAs for 400 points, earned double that amount for those articles in bonus points. Everyone who moved forward to Round 4 earned at least 100 points.
The scores required to move onto the semifinals were impressive; the lowest scorer to move onto the finals was 407, making this year's Wikicup as competitive as it's always been. Our finalists, ordered by round 4 score, are:
- Cas Liber (submissions), who is competing in his sixth consecutive Wikicup final, again finished the round in first place, with an impressive 1666 points in Pool B. Casliber writes about the natural sciences, including ornithology, botany and astronomy. A large bulk of his points this round were bonus points.
- Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points), second place both in Pool B and overall, earned the bulk of his points with FPs, mostly depicting currency.
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions), first in Pool A, came in third. His specialty is natural science articles; in Round 4, he mostly submitted articles about insects and botany. Five out of the six of the GAs he submitted were level-4 vital articles.
- Harrias (submissions), second in Pool A, took fourth overall. He tends to focus on articles about cricket and military history, specifically the 1640s First English Civil War.
- West Virginian (submissions), from Pool A, was our highest-scoring wildcard. West Virginia tends to focus on articles about the history of (what for it!) the U.S. state of West Virginia.
- Rodw (submissions), from Pool A, likes to work on articles about British geography and places. Most of his points this round were earned from two impressive accomplishments: a GT about Scheduled monuments in Somerset and a FT about English Heritage properties in Somerset.
- Rationalobserver (submissions), from Pool B, came in seventh overall. RO earned the majority of her points from GARs and PRs, many of which were earned in the final hours of the round.
- Calvin999 (submissions), also from Pool B, who was competing with RO for the final two spots in the final hours, takes the race for most GARs and PRs—48.
The intense competition between RO and Calvin999 will continue into the finals. They're both eligible for the Newcomers Trophy, given for the first time in the Wikicup; whoever makes the most points will win it.
Good luck to the finalists; the judges are sure that the competition will be fierce!

Hi there --
Thanks for your message. I was in the process of adding the source to the article when I received your message -- sorry that I'm not savvy enough to be able to undo the previous edit and add new content in a single edit. WikiCup 2015: The results
WikiCup 2015 is now in the books! Congrats to our finalists and winners, and to everyone who took part in this year's competition.
This year's results were an exact replica of last year's competition. For the second year in a row, the 2015 WikiCup champion is Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points). All of his points were earned for an impressive 253 featured pictures and their associated bonus points (5060 and 1695, respectively). His entries constituted scans of currency from all over the world and scans of medallions awarded to participants of the U.S. Space program. Cwmhiraeth (submissions) came in second place; she earned by far the most bonus points (4082), for 4 featured articles, 15 good articles, and 147 DYKs, mostly about in her field of expertise, natural science. Cas Liber (submissions), a finalist every year since 2010, came in third, with 2379 points.
Our newcomer award, presented to the best-performing new competitor in the WikiCup, goes to Rationalobserver (submissions). Everyone should be very proud of the work they accomplished. We will announce our other award winners soon.
A full list of our award winners are:
- Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points) wins the prize for first place and the FP prize for 330 featured pictures in the final round.
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions) wins the prize for second place and the DYK prize for 160 did you knows in the final round (310 in all rounds).
- Cas Liber (submissions) wins the prize for third place and the FA prize for 26 featured articles in all rounds.
- West Virginian (submissions) wins the prize for fourth place
- Calvin999 (submissions) wins a final 8 prize.
- Rationalobserver (submissions) wins a final 8 prize.
- Harrias (submissions) wins a final 8 prize and the FL prize for 11 featured lists.
- Rodw (submissions) wins the most prizes: a final 8 prize, the GA prize for 41 good articles, and the topic prize for a 13-article good topic and an 8-article featured topic, both in round 3.
- ThaddeusB (submissions) wins the news prize for the most news articles in round 3.
We warmly invite all of you to sign up for next year's competition. Discussions and polls concerning potential rules changes are also open, and all are welcome to participate. The WikiCup judges will be back in touch over the coming months, and we hope to see you all in the 2016 competition. Until then, it only remains to once again congratulate our worthy winners, and thank all participants for their involvement! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. WikiCup 2016 is just around the corner...
Hello everyone, and we would like to wish you all a happy holiday season. As you will probably already know, the 2016 WikiCup begins in the new year; there is still time to sign up. There are some changes we'd like to announce before the competition begins.
After two years of serving as WikiCup judge, User:Miyagawa has stepped down as judge. He deserves great thanks and recognition for his dedication and hard work, and for providing necessary transition for a new group of judges in last year's Cup. Joining Christine (User:Figureskatingfan) and Jason (User:Sturmvogel 66) is Andrew (User:Godot13), a very successful WikiCup competitor and expert in Featured Pictures; he won the two previous competitions. This is a strong judging team, and we anticipate lots of enjoyment and good work coming from our 2016 competitors.
We would also like to announce one change in how this year's WikiCup will be run. In the spirit of sportsmanship, Godot13 and Cwmhiraeth have chosen to limit their participation. See here for the announcement and a complete explanation of why. They and the judges feel that it will make for a more exciting, enjoyable, and productive competition.
The discussions/polls concerning the next competition's rules will be closed soon, and rules changes will be made clear on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring and talk pages. The judges are committed to not repeating the confusion that occurred last year and to ensuring that the new rules are both fair and in the best interests of the competition, which is, first and foremost, about improving Wikipedia.
If you have any questions or concerns, the judges can be reached on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, on their talk pages, or by email. We hope you will all join us in trying to make the 2015 WikiCup the most productive and enjoyable yet. You are receiving this message because you are listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. WikiCup 2016: Game On!
We are about to enter the second week of the 2016 WikiCup. The most recent player to sign up brings the current total to 101 contestants. Signups close on 5 February. If you’re interested, you can join this year's WikiCup here.
We are aware that in some areas the scoring bot’s numbers are a little bit off (i.e., overly generous) and are working to have that corrected as soon as possible.--MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:04, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Origination of Free Bet Blackjack
Liance,
I received your message regarding the removal of my update to the Mirage page regarding Free Bet Blackjack.
You can check out this page (http://www.downloadblackjack.com/free-bet-blackjack-casinos/) to see that the first Free Bet Blackjack table in Vegas was at the Golden Nugget. I can also personally confirm that, as I started playing Free Bet Blackjack at the Golden Nugget in August, 2012. Free Bet Blackjack was installed at the Mirage as the second Vegas location, with many more that have since followed.
Actually, if you read the source that is cited (http://thepogg.com/thepogg-interviews-geoff-hall-creator-of-blackjack-switch/), Geoff is actually quoted as saying "I will actually be in Vegas from November 25th - December 16th training and installing my new 'Free Bet Blackjack' game into The Mirage and Casino Royale, following an excellent trial at The Golden Nugget." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rhinoman7 (talk • contribs) 18:52, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Liance Thank you for your assistance.
Liance this is my first Wiki entry for a full article and I am still getting a feel for how it works. This person I am trying to add to the Wikipedia is a football executive since 2002 and is currently with one of the top Serie A professional Football Clubs in Italy. There is so much material on him that I will take a few days to sift through it all. I am unclear what the difference is between references and external references. Be patient with me because if I do get a handle on this Wikipedia editing then I think I can become very passionate about contributing to the project. Request on 12:01:31, 16 February 2016 for assistance on AfC submission by 11lionsd
https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Draft:Sandro_Mencucci&oldid=705160426
Thank you for reviewing my article. It has been rejected based on the assumption that I have not utilized reliable sources. I have quoted sources such as reputable newspapers such as the New York Times, Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, La Nazione where Sandro Mencucci is referenced notably and indisputably as the CEO (amministratore delegato AD in Italian) of the ACF Fiorentina Football Club. I have referenced the federations and governing bodies of the football world such as FIFA, FIGC as well as other reputable calcio websites such as transfer market, calcio mercato as well as the ACF Fiorentina website Viola Channel and ACF Fiorentina Wikipedia page all in which Sandro Mencucci is identified as the CEO (amministratore delagato in Italian) of the ACF Fiorentina Football Club since the Della Valle era 2002. When I have referenced outside organizations such as Save the Children, Pune City FC or NorCal Premier League, CalcioDonne I have referenced those organizations websites directly where they identify Sandro Mencucci as the CEO (amministratore delegato AD in Italian) of the ACF Fiorentina Football Club. In addition to this, I have listed 19 published books with valid ISBNs who speak about Football in Italy and the club ACF Fiorentina and its history and contributions to the world of Football and they all specifically reference Sandro Mencucci as the CEO (amministratore delegato AD in Italian)of the ACF Fiorentina Football Club since the Della Valle era 2002.
Other than to use reputable newspapers, national and international authorities and governing bodies in the world of Football, and published books on the topic of contemporary ACF Fiorentina as a valid organization to validate the existence and contribution of its 13 year Football manager Sandro Mencucci I am only left to understand that the issue with all due respect to the reviewer who has ample experience in libraries, that perhaps the issue is a language barrier. Perhaps the fact that with the exception of the New York Times articles and the FIFA, FIGC, Save the Children, NorCal Premiere League Viola Channel and Transfer Market, the majority of these references are from notable authors and journals but are written in Italian. If the reviewer is not familiar with the resources and their importance to Italy and to the world of Football (i.e. FIFA) then I would like to request that someone with ample knowledge of these international governing bodies and who has sufficient knowledge of Italian review my resources. Thank you. 11lionsd (talk) 12:01, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

- Hi, I see that you've resubmitted the draft of your article. You've added many more reliable sources since I first reviewed the page, and that's good. Some of the sources are still not independent and reliable (such as the Wikipedia article and the PDF hosted on Dropbox), but many more have been added. I recommend that you wait for another editor the review the article, and see what they say about what you need to improve on. Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia; your contributions are appreciated! -Liancetalk/contribs 17:08, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

Did not claim I own the Wikipedia page for The Romantics, I want to correct and update the information. I am Mike Skill of The Romantics, Original and current member of the band and agents and managers are tired of seeing the old/un-corrected info on The Romantics on Wikipedia and have requested we update it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Allmusic4u (talk • contribs) 06:44, 18 February 2016 (UTC)

Request on 20:26:36, 23 February 2016 for assistance on AfC submission by BePoTech
I need assistance because this is the least user-friendly website when trying to create a simple page about a company the the assistance I've received has not helped me at all. I originally created my account with username "BePowerTech" then when I tried to create a page called "Be Power Tech" I was told the username and page name cannot be the same. So today I created a new username "BePoTech" and tried to create a page and received the following feedback:
Although warned both about COI and your username, you've continued to edit the article in your sandbox, and it appears that you submitted your sandbox for reviewing. There are a couple of problems here. First, you still need to change your username and to declare your conflict of interest. The information is all in the original COI information that I placed here. Second, when submitted to AfC for review, a sandbox is supposed to become a draft article. Why that sometimes does not happen I do not know, but it does. I could copy it to draft space, but I will not do so while you are editing in violation of the COI and namespace policies. You need to say what your relationship is with the company, and you need to change your username. LaMona (talk) 19:27, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
I started with a blank page today so for LaMona to tell me that I "continued to edit my article in my sandbox" is not true. If I knew how to fix my namespace problem I obviously would have done so. LaMona is not giving clear enough direction on how to fix this problem. Regarding the COI issue, I will work to resolve this.
Can you please help me with this namespace problem so that I can continue to work on this page and resolve the COI problem? If there is a phone number I can call that would be great because so far this "talk" option has only caused me more frustration.

because I do not exactly follow your advice.
Kindly suggest practical ways for improving the article. Does it need more references?

One of your draft reviews
For your future reference, your review of Draft:Luke John Burrows (which I've just deleted as an attack page) was completely inadequate (you simply reviewed it as lacking context). You need to take the time to ensure you're properly reviewing pages likes this one, as attack pages are considered something that needs immediate attention from administrators (whether in or outside of the draft space). Thank you, — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 15:46, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, I wasn't paying enough attention and didn't notice it was an attack page. It's my fault, sorry! I promise to be more careful in the future. -Liancetalk/contribs 15:51, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Hello Liance,
This is Landsend35. I do not understand the statement that the KVH Industries article has no inline citations. I see 27 citations. I have re read all the live links about notability, independence, and reliability and I am unclear why the sources listed in the footnotes supplied do not qualify. Many thanks for all your help.

KVH question inline citations
Hi, regarding rejection of the KVH sources, then, is this a formatting issue or a content issue? If I reformat the footnotes so they are highlighted and linked, is that acceptable? Many thanks. Landsend35 (talk) 16:28, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

18:32:38, 1 March 2016 review of submission by Holowiki
Hi Liance,
Thank you for looking over everything! Which links do you mean - the additional links at the bottom? Do you recommend just adding all of those as references instead of additional sources? Please let me know what I should improve upon/remove as we would love to publish this page as soon as possible.
Thank you again!
