COI check regarding Hyundai Corporation

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Kkkikki. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.MrsSnoozyTurtle (talk) 00:47, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Thanks. I'll be careful not to have any advertising content!! Kkkikki (talk) 10:32, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for your reply. It is not just about adding blatant advertising, there are several other rules for paid editors. Please refer to WP:PAY. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle (talk)

Hello Kkkikki. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Kkkikki. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Kkkikki|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. TAXIDICAE💰 12:19, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am very interested in Hyundai Motor Company. That's why I am editing and publishing modern related documents. I have no monetary gains unless I am a paid advocate. Kkkikki (talk) 00:36, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please see WP:COI. A conflict of interest can be many things other than being directly paid to create/edit an article. This account's contribution history suggests that it is WP:NOTHERE to help build an encyclopedia but instead promote the Hyundai/Kia corporation. MrsSnoozyTurtle (talk) 01:41, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I am not contributing for profit or advertising, I am contributing to the encyclopedia through my interests. If there is a problem with our contribution activities, will gradually reduce the problem. Kkkikki (talk) 00:35, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your reply. When you say "problem with our contributions", who is "us"? An account should be only used by a single person. MrsSnoozyTurtle (talk) 22:31, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That refers to myself and this is a personal account which I am the only user. I will revise the word ‘we’ which was incorrectly used by a mistake. Kkkikki (talk) 00:24, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for clarifying. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle (talk) 05:01, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Genesis X moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Genesis X, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Onel5969 TT me 15:54, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah! Let's add a reliable and independent source. Kkkikki (talk) 00:36, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hyundai Vision T, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Final warning

[edit]

You have, at this point, created quite a large number of inappropriate articles directly in mainspace. Some had to be returned to draft space, others were either deleted as non-notable or promotional. Creation of inappropriate articles is disruptive and wasteful of other editors' time to deal with. It is generally my recommendation to new editors that they create articles as a draft and request review by articles for creation rather than attempting to create an appropriate one directly in mainspace; the draft process gives you time to correct problems until the article can be accepted. Before you attempt to create another article, please carefully review and ensure you understand our policies on neutrality, notability, and reliable sourcing. If you once again create an inappropriate mainspace article, you are likely to be blocked from editing. Seraphimblade Talk to me 16:41, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree with Seraphimblade. And given the amount of PR-fluff additions (which are of no benefit to the encyclopedia) IMHO this account is quacking loudly of an undisclosed COI. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle 03:08, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
