Rewrite of Akne--Causes--Diet

[edit]
https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Acne#Diet

Section Old Article Comment New Article
Introduction The relationship between diet and acne is unclear, as there is no high-quality evidence that establishes any definitive link between them.[51 Sentence is broadly accusing, and makes it seem like you can put all foodstuffs under one hat. Several dietary factors have been investigated for a potential link to acne. Some foodstuffs have been indicated by research to play a role in acne, but no causation has so far been proven via high-quality evidence such as double-blind randomised control studies.
Glycemic Index -- evidence to shortly describe: RCTs, pathways, population studies. Four reviews of medical literature examined the glycemic load-acne connection. Of those, two explicitly recommend the adoption of a low-glycemic diet, (Mesnick, Mahmood)  and two consider the evidence to support the benefit of such a diet. (Kucharska, Bronsnick).

Foot-in-the-mouth technique moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Foot-in-the-mouth technique, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. References

[edit]
Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
  2. Then click on "templates",
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill in the details beside a magnifying glass followed by clicking said button,
  4. If the article is available in Pubmed Central, you have to add the pmc parameter manually -- click on "show additional fields" in the template and you will see the "pmc" field. Please add just the number and don't include "PMC".

We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 14:13, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

School strike for climate

[edit]

Frohliche Sonntag!

The article School strike for climate has a ton of German language citations. If you happen to know that the publishers offer English versions, could you please note which ones at the article talk page? That will help all of us with maintainence in the future. For the ones that do not publish an English alternative, how should we proceed? What have you done in the past?

Thanks for the help! NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 12:44, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello how are you? I just noticed that you're a 3rd year Psychology student, new wikipedian and a German translator. I've worked on this article quite a lot, its nearly at GA status, and was wondering if you might be interested in translating it for German Wikipedia.

Thanks! --E.3 (talk) 14:22, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
