Gérson Caçapa

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Gérson Caçapa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Vgranucci 16:12, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you.Vgranucci 18:21, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not replacing the speedy delete tag, because the notability of the person is a little clearer. However, you need to state that the subject of the article is a football player in the article itself, and not relying on the stub. Vgranucci 18:21, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Turkish football players

[edit]

Hi Gokhantig. I see that you have changed the nationalities of Turkish football players in the Dutch football league. Many of these changes are correct, but I would like to ask you to be a bit more careful. Alper Göbel (Go Ahead Eagles) and Huzeyn Kurt (BV Veendam) for instance have dual citizenship (Turkey and the Netherlands). Since they haven't represented the national youth teams of either country, common practice is to list them with the flags of both countries. Adnan Barakat (SC Cambuur) is a Dutch football player of Moroccan ancestry. Another example is Onur Kaya (Vitesse), a Belgian player with Turkish roots. Since he plays for the Belgium national under-21 football team, he counts as a Belgian football player. AecisBrievenbus 22:27, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your recent edit to Zaza Enden. Your edit included one or more links to the page Georgia, which is a disambiguation page. This type of page is intended to direct users to more specific topics. Ordinarily we try to avoid creating links to disambiguation pages, since it is preferable to link directly to the specific topic relevant to the context. You can help Wikipedia by revising the links you added to Zaza Enden to refer directly to the most relevant topic. [edit]

Do not re-add the players that were removed. Just because they are foreigners and played for our club does NOT make them a "notable player". Spam 2

[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Colin Kâzım-Richards . Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. AdamJWC 11:11, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Gokhantig,

Regarding your edit on Fenerbahçe I ask you not to change I to İ. İ is indeed the capital form of i in Turkish, but it is not in English. Your change makes the ortography inconsistent and does not correspond with the article on Istanbul. JuffDizz 13:12, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Feneriumlogo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 18:29, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Fenerium

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Fenerium, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. -- WebHamster 18:34, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Dariusz Stanicki

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dariusz Stanicki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sarah Drury, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.usavolleyball.org/National/profiles/women/player.asp?number=5. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 11:26, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Sarah Drury, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.usavolleyball.org/National/profiles/women/player.asp?number=5, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Sarah Drury and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Sarah Drury with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Sarah Drury.

It is also important that the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and that it follows Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at Talk:Sarah Drury/Temp. Leave a note at Talk:Sarah Drury saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! — madman bum and angel 04:58, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fenerbahce

[edit]

May I kindly request that you avoid adding non-encyclopedic material? A sentence such as "Fenerbahçe have a larger fanbase compared with other TSL clubs" may be true and can be included, but then it has to be sourced. On the other hand, sentences such as "The passion of the Fenerbahçe fans has been recognised by many of the teams that dare to pay the visit to the deadly feud that these Turkish giants thrive in" have got no place on Wikipedia. It's POV and not enclyclopedic. Articles on Wikipedia should be informative, not fan-sites. Please read WP:FAN, thanks JdeJ (talk) 11:33, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Turkish Basketball League 2007-2008

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Turkish Basketball League 2007-2008, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Turkish Basketball League 2007-2008.  —SMALLJIM  13:18, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:TVF.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:TVF.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 22:45, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Hi. I see you're quite new round here. Please don't recreate material that's been properly deleted through a deletion process, as with Template:Turkey Squad 2003 Confederations Cup. I've speedy deleted it according to our policies on recreation of deleted material and then needed to spend quite a lot of my time removing all the links you added to this template. If you disagree with the result of a deletion debate, the correct thing to do is to open a WP:DRV. Recreating the material can be regarded as being disruptive, but given that you're new round here (and may not even have realised you were recreating something that had been deleted) I'm happy to give you the benefit of the doubt. Cheers. --Dweller (talk) 12:06, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I see you keep adding sections to Fenerbahçe S.K. and an anonymous editor (with variable IP address) keeps removing them. This needs to be resolved. Firstly, just a quick word to say adding to a page won't protect it. You need to be an admin to protect a page. Secondly, you add no edit summary so your edits will always be treated with caution. Thirdly, your edits only have a single citation. I need you to start explaining what's going on here as the edit history shows this page is becoming a mess. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:25, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Secondly, i just removing that anonymous editor's (ip address: 78.163.249.*** or 78.163.250.***) sections, for example i made club captains and managerssummaries with same table as "Period/Names/Trophies" explanations, but that editor changes it with difference. I just want to make same table explanations. And he alwasy remove Atatürk and Fenerbahçe summary but its referenced sumamry from clubs museum. Thirdly, i didnt understand what u are asking about, can u explain a little please? If u are talking about my edits have copies, because i just want to add referenced informations. Players without fully-pro appearances

[edit]

You have recently created several articles for players in the Fenerbahce U-20s team, which do not assert any appearances that would have them meet the criteria for notability at WP:ATHLETE. In the absence of other grounds for notability, footballers must have played in a fully professional league to be deemed worthy of an article. If any of these players have appeared for the first team, you should make that clear; if they have not, be warned that they are likely to be listed for deletion. 11:08, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Emre Belözoğlu‎. Please do not add him as a Fenerbahche squad member until after the transfer has taken place. Wikipedia is not a not a crystal ball. IF you have reliable, verifiable, third-party references to state that he will sign on a certain date, then by all means add that - but do not state that it's a fact or imply it has already happened. An article you created is about to be deleted: Tools which can help you

[edit]

The article you created, Zerrin_Egeliler is about to be deleted from Wikipedia.

There is an ongoing debate about whether your article should be deleted here:

The faster your respond, the better chance the article you created can be saved. This is because deletion debates only stay open for a few days, and the first comments are usually the most important.

There are several tools and other editors who can help you keep the page from being deleted forever:

  1. You can list the page up for deletion on Article Rescue Squadron. If you need help listing your page, add a comment on the Article Rescue Squadron talk page.
  2. You can request a mentor to help explain to you all of the complex rules that editors use to get a page deleted, here: Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User. But don't wait for a mentor to respond on the deletion page.
  3. When try to delete a page, veteran editors love to use a lot of rule acronyms. Don't let these acronyms intimidate you.
Here is a list of your own acronyms you can use yourself: WP:Deletion debate acronyms which may support the page you created being kept.
Acronyms in deletion debates are sometimes incorrectly used, or ignore rules or exceptions.
  4. You can merge the article into a larger article.

If your page is deleted, you still have many options available. Good luck! travb (talk) 03:23, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:100th year logo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:100th year logo.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:11, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Gokhantig! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 9 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Atatürk and Fenerbahçe, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.fenerbahce.org/eng/detay.asp?ContentID=10. As a copyright violation, Atatürk and Fenerbahçe appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Atatürk and Fenerbahçe has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 13:48, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Gökhan Töre, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gökhan Töre (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

The article Alpaslan Öztürk has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Youth team player who has not as yet made an appearance at fully-professional level, thus failing WP:ATHLETE guideline. Not enough media coverage to satisfy general notability criteria.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Struway2 (talk) 17:13, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Cemre Erol requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay.

Ilikepieittastesgood 23:19, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but doing it without prior talk page discussion is not a good idea. Among other things, you created Fenerbahçe S.K.

— Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.224.30.11 (talk) 23:55, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Sultana (rapper), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Unreferenced blp (I just removed the one ref ... another wiki)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Epeefleche (talk) 01:15, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sultana (rapper) has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 01:47, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gokhantig, can you please add a mention and citation to Abdi İpekçi's article for Category:Sabbateans? Not that I doubt you, but like any other addition in WP, it needs a reliable source. Cheers, and thanks, Khazar (talk) 12:37, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Thierry Henry, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you.

I also recommend you read WP:BLPCAT before adding religious categories to any articles about living people. 2 lines of K303 12:17, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ahmad Al-Dwairi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jordanian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Nomination of Ali Akburç for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Ali Akburç is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ali Akburç until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Hi. I was wondering if you'd be interested in setting up Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Turkey), based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). Now it's not a contest in itself, it's designed to motivate people to inspire others to improve content and build something which demonstrates the hard work going into the country which is visible. The focus is more on quality improvements but new articles are welcome too. Eventually a Turkish National Contest could be created to fuel it, like Wikipedia:Awaken the Dragon, in which contestants can choose to keep the Amazon vouchers themselves to buy their own books for more articles or put them into book fund to help editors further improve Turkish-related topics by giving them the books they want. It will begin though as purely an improvement drive. If interested, or you think anybody else might be interested, alert them and sign up on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Turkey talk page at the bottom. Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 14:12, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:06, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Gokhantig! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Ahmet Örken that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Invitation to participate in a research

[edit]

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:14, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

help getting fenerbahçe a 'good article' status

[edit]

selam. Fenerbahçe S.K. (football) ve Fenerbahçe S.K. (basketball) sayfalarını good article ya da featured article klasmanına çıkartmak için yardımcı olur musun?

talkpage'in en üstünde bi banner var, detaylara Wikipedia:PRG sayfasından ulaşabilirsin. tek yapman gereken banner'da 'everyday life' başlığına tıklayıp 'I've listed this article for peer review because of a GA nomination' açıklamasını girmek.

ben editörlüğü yıllardır bıraktım, birkaç ay önce sadece fenerbahçe için ufak bi dönüş yaptım ki zaten bu da zaten bitti sayılır. kim olduğumu merak ediyorsan; User:Dudewithafez 83.9.116.38 (talk) 14:06, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Triple Crown (women's basketball) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:OR/WP:SYNTH; the references provided don't cohesively discuss this topic as a real thing, and a WP:BEFORE failed to yield such coverage that would satisfy WP:GNG or WP:NSPORT.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Left guide (talk) 23:54, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop restoring articles for clearly non-notable albums that you have not demonstrated are sufficiently notable to have articles on Wikipedia. Mezarkabul's albums are not notable. Bir was already redirected by discussion, do you really want to have another deletion discussion for Pentagram? It will not survive a deletion discussion, so you are wasting your time. Read WP:NALBUMS. Your time would be better spent moving onto a topic that clearly meets our notability criteria. Ss112 18:51, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
