About X-Men: Animated Series. Mistake?
I noticed that in the episode listing of Cold Comfort, the year for the airdate is "1997". Is this a mistake? If it is you are welcome to change it yourself. I also added a plot for Cold Comfort, so I also put "1997" in the infobox. You are also welcome to change that too. :] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wengistein (talk • contribs) 01:02, 24 December 2006 (UTC).

Edit summaries
I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! --Ppntori 22:37, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Speedy deletion tagging of Justice league episodes
I see you have tagged many redirects from titles of Justice League episodes with the deletion reason "Just because it's the name of a Justice League episode should not mean that it should redirect there". This does not appear to reflect any of the speedy deletion criteria. Please don't use speedy deletion tags for things you simply think are bad. If you really think these should all be deleted, you may list them at WP:RFD, but I should mention it is common to keep redirects like these to help people find the closest-related article currently available. Thanks. —dgiestc 05:36, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Template syntax
The {{no copyright holder}} template expects the "month" parameter to be the spelled-out name of the month, as in {{no copyright holder|month=April|day=10|year=2007}}. Using the month number leaves the image in a non-existant category, so admins won't delete it. --Carnildo 06:48, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Wikilinks in NFL Drafts
Regarding players, teams, positions, colleges, within the table data I believe it has been discussed several times to link all table data not just the first instance. While remaining to the usual link only first instance within the written article. If im mistaken on this one I'll cease to edit them completely. Also note often times player positions while they may appear to be the same are not and piped to specific positions. Slysplace | talk 01:36, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- There are so many archives of the discussions on the NFL Project page related to the draft page series of lists, Who can keep up. I've fixed so many redirects and disambiqs while editing those pages that it is certainly much more than a simple revert, more likely I'll be re-editing the entire series if it comes up that they should be cleaned up. Also there are other group / project discussions related to "Lists" whih I may have miss interpreted that suggested the full linking in table data. This will take some time to sort out. - A quick review of what I've completed in the possibly unacceptable format 1936 - 1976 and some of 1978 using mostly an external editor with find and replace scripts, shows if the Article format is to be susatained I'll have to entirely un-wikilink every article and then manually find the first instance, could prove to be a whole lot of previously wasted effort and even more work to clean up ... I think I need a jury Slysplace | talk 15:08, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- I was thinking to do the same, I've added my self defense statement to your question but I think the obvious answer will be manually reverted (or worse revert entirely) to single instance wikilinks to continue the featured article hopes of the project and the hard core wikipedians. Thank's for yoru input, concern, and support no matter the outcome. Slysplace | talk 02:22, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
- Finally got back to cleaning up some of the draft tables. The early era pages are the easiest with only 1 round in most of them. I must say though they just look incomplete in the link once article format. I suppose I could have just left them as I last edited but that's counter productive to the NFL Project goal. Slysplace | talk 01:18, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- I made several sortable at one time but reverted after I received e-mail that it was un-acceptable. I suppose I was just easily intimidated. I Like sortable, But then again I also felt full links were cleaner and more direct for the final user.

sortable Draft
I think I got the 2 or 3 you missed (or beat you to it), now if we can get rid of the abbreviations and get some volunteers to work on rounds 2 + the series will be in good shape! Slysplace | talk 02:27, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- As tedious as this is cleaning up the draft articles, I happened to glance at some of the history and diffs of the articles were both working on. If memory serves me you pointed out I had "Over Wikilinked" the entire series, And called attention to it in the NFL Project discussion group. Imagine my concern, I cant help but notice in the areas of HOF & Noteable players specifically in regards to the AFL your doing the same thing. This does seem a little counter productive to me as I've been cleaning up those links repeatedly. Are we working towards the same goal? Linked only once per article,
to quote the discussion in Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Football League#NFL_Draft
Basically first time only for each link. Every single one was linked originally in pretty much every draft, but there's really no reason for that. The other 60-odd drafts are gonna have to have that fixed.--Wizardman 02:44, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Slysplace | talk 02:14, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- It does appear we were both editing some articles at the same time, and it is monotonous, but there were a few with the AFL links repeatedly linked during and after the sortable update. I've triple checked everything from 1936 through 1969 for dupe links, disamibqs, and redirects and compacted some data and white space. 1936 - 1969 should be complete (with exception of needing expansion and opening paragraphs). I'll continue through the 70's & 80's next, an extra set of eyes would not hurt the process. Slysplace | talk 11:48, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
SIlver Surfer
Regarding the Marvel animated universe article, are you really so sure that Silver Surfer is part of that continuity? We're not just talking about a plot hole here and there, like Red Skull having inconsistent combat abilities - every single time something on that series happens that could be related to another one, it goes a different way, so the only reasonable conclusion seems to be that they're separate universes. Caswin 20:05, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- yes, I believe that Silver Surfer (TV series) is a part of the Marvel animated universe. Gman124 01:34, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

FL Main page proposal
You either nominated a WP:FLC or closed such a nomination recently. As such, you are the type of editor whose opinion I am soliciting. We now have over 400 featured lists and seem to be promoting in excess of 30 per month of late (41 in August and 42 in September). When Today's featured article (TFA) started (2004-02-22), they only had about 200 featured articles and were barely promoting 20 new ones per month. I think the quality of featured lists is at least as good as the quality of featured articles was when they started appearing on the main page. Thus, I am ready to open debate on a proposal to institute a List of the Day on the main page with nominations starting November 1 2007, voting starting December 1 2007 and main page appearances starting January 1 2008. For brevity, the proposal page does not discuss the details of eventual main page content, but since the work has already been done, you should consider this proposal assuming the eventual content will resemble the current content at the featured content page. Such output would probably start at the bottom of the main page. The proposal page does not debate whether starting with weekly list main page entries would be better than daily entries. However, I suspect persons in favor of weekly lists are really voicing opinions against lists on the main page since neither TFA nor Picture of the day started as weekly endeavors, to the best of my knowledge. Right now debate seems to be among support for the current selective democratic/consensus based proposal, a selective dictatorial approach like that used at WP:TFA or a non-selective first in line/calendar approach like that used at WP:POTD. See the List of the Day proposal and comment at WP:LOTDP and its talk page.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 19:29, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Featured List of the Day Experiment
There have been a series of proposals to initiate a Featured List of the Day on the main page. Numerous proposals have been put forth. After the third one failed, I audited all WP:FL's in order to begin an experiment in my own user space that will hopefully get it going. Today, it commences at WP:LOTD. Afterwards I created my experimental page, a new proposal was set forth to do a featured list that is strikingly similar to my own which is to do a user page experimental featured list, but no format has been confirmed and mechanism set in place. I continue to be willing to do the experiment myself and with this posting it commences. Please submit any list that you would like to have considered for list of the day in the month of January 2008 by the end of this month to WP:LOTD and its subpages. You may submit multiple lists for consideration.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:LOTD) 02:47, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Incredible Hulk is a reboot.
If you read through the article, what you'll find is that the new movie will not directly contradict the entirty of Hulk, and will rely upon the audience now being familiar with the basics of the Hulk's origins and so on. The new movie will tweak and alter those things it needs to to fit the new story, and will not create a brand new origin tale. This makes it at best a 'passive' sequel. However, it's an entirely new cast and production crew with a new vision and direction and new goals, with a different hulk (one that doesn't grow, for one). As such, it was decided that passive reliance upon audience knowledge based on premises given in the first film is not enough to call it a sequel. Further, Ed Norton's quotes in the article make it clear that the older Penn quote is out of date, as Norton said he rewrote sections specifically to distance the new film from the older film. That intent to differentiate is also clear support that it's a reboot. ThuranX (talk) 17:08, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
NFL draft pages
I noticed you put several of them up for FLR. Generally, you should mention concerns on the talk page and then go to FLR if they are not addressed, and your concerns seem easily addressable to me. -- Scorpion0422 01:35, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- but they have to find references for all drafts and I don't think anyone is going to work on it anytime soon. Gman124 (talk) 02:13, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- That is quite an assumption, but aside from that, could you notify the nominators (found in the articlehistory), Wikipedia:WikiProject National Football League and possibly Wikipedia:WikiProject College football as a courteous note. Otherwise, they might not find about it. Thanks. Woody (talk) 20:34, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
The Alien CostumeJust to let you know, I'll be redirecting that soon. Pretty much all of the information is original research (you cannot use circular logic or user edited sources to cite something), and anything left over doesn't warrant an article. TTN (talk) 16:33, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
If you're going to keep bringing these episode articles back, can you please try to bring them to our notability standards? While what you're trying to do is fine, you're missing the target by quite a bit. Notability isn't established from a couple of fairly trivial creator notes and a review from a site that isn't really reliable in that area. You need information like in The Last Temptation of Krust, Zero Hour (Stargate SG-1), In Excelsis Deo, Last Exit to Springfield, and other good episode articles. TTN (talk) 19:20, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Unnecessary season splitsGenerally, we do not split episode lists into season articles without the seasons having information on them. While that page is large KB wise, a good chunk of that space comes from the tables anyways, which doesn't really count towards needing to be split. If you want to split them, you'll have to find production and reception information on the entire seasons, which doesn't seem likely. If you could merge that one back in, that would be good. Asking about the X-Men's animated appearance on Spider-Man (1994 TV series)The X-Men were animated under different house on their program than on Spider-Man's (even though they were meant to take place in the same universe). This was supposed to give you an example of what they looked like on Spider-Man when compared to on their show from around that time. Regarding the previous request I placed on your Punjabi Wikipedia talkpage, I must admit there was some overlap between the passages. So instead, could you help me translate these three passages into the brilliant and fantastic Punjabi language? Please. Content

Spider-Man season article cast listHi, I realise you created the Spider-Man season article Neogenic Nightmare, and as I know you are aware, that I recently created one for The Sins of the Fathers, similar to yours. All I wanted to ask, is where the hell did you find the cast list? I had to work it out for myself, and I'm not even completely sure I did it 100% correct, what source did you use? Request for Help, please
Greetings Gman124,
Could you kindly help me translate this passage into the superb and splendid Punjabi language? Please.
- "The Holy Communion is the sacrament to commemorate the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. It enables us to partake of the flesh and blood of our Lord and to be in communion with Him so that we can have eternal life and be raised on the Last Day. This sacrament should be held as often as possible. Only one unleavened bread and grape juice is used".
Your help would be very Gratefully Appreciated, just try your best effort. --Jose77 (talk) 22:35, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Re:Can one editor nominate two lists around the same timeGenerally, I don't care if people have multiple nominations going (however, one user had 18 at one point and that was kind of pushing it), so the answer is yes. -- Scorpion0422 20:14, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
InterlinkingHey Gman124, Thanks for the warm welcome. As you can see, I am the epitome of Wikipedian noobs. I'm attempting to make the fiber converter article as informative as possible and trying not to break any rules. Apparently I overdid the interlinking, so I beleive I fixed that. I didn't want to yank the banner though without an OK from someone. It seems as though someone deleted all of my network applications (not sure why), too. Any advice for optimizing my article would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. IMC Networks (talk) 22:31, 6 February 2009 (UTC) Spider-ManHello. :) Since you have been involved in editing the article Spider-Man, I wanted to let you know that we have nominated the article for "Good Article" status. You can view the review page, and if there is anything you can do to make the article better, please do so. :) There are a number of concerns to be addressed and some work to be done, so pitch in if you are able, make any suggestions that you think might be helpful, or at least just be there for moral support. :) BOZ (talk) 00:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC) File:Gregg Popovich.jpgWP:NFCC#1 is pretty clear about images like File:Gregg Popovich.jpg - if someone can create a free alternative without unreasonable difficulty, it's replaceable. And in the case of an NBA head coach, who makes at least 82 scheduled public appearances a season, not to mention the meets-and-greets and other public engagements on non-gamedays, they are the very definition of someone whose image can be created freely. And I'm not sure how you get the idea that the use of the image isn't a copyright violation. You're using an image copyrighted to someone else without their permission or license - of course you're infringing on copyright. --Mosmof (talk) 00:50, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Kristin KreukI reverted your addition of the Lana image to the Kristin Kreuk article. Per the fair use criteria, if a free alternative exists then it must be used. Since a free alternative exists always for living people, all people articles require free images. Can you explain what you are trying to do with the archives of Talk:India ? I assume that this edit was just an error (and not vandalism, as I initially thought), but am still not clear why you are merging previous archives. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 21:56, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Glad you worked with me to fix up those old archives, when they get too big, the wikipedia page formatting falls apart; you may wish to consider going to 150K, not 200k, but your efforts are appreciated. Good on ya, keep it up. ThuranX (talk) 22:32, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Toon DisneyToon Disney is defunct, it was rebranded and renamed. Therefore its more appropriate to have a section of the Disney XD article marked history, about Toon Disney. Defunct channels and programming blocks don't need separate articles. Please don't unmerge it again. TomCat4680 (talk) 16:41, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Talk:Solar SystemHi. I'm trying to get a handle on what utility you gained by consolidating all of the Talk:Solar System archives. It seems, on the surface, that you just created some really big archive pages, rather than leaving the small ones. I'm sure you have some well thought out plan, I just wanted to know the scoop. Multiple accountsWhile not generally recommended, there is no prohibiition as long as the multiple accounts are not being used improperly (i.e. to attempt to bypass the 3RR rule or to continue to edit under one account when the other account has been blocked for violations or to use more than one account within a discussion in an attempt to make the appearance of consensus tip a certain way). I have been very forthright that both accounts are the same person as I work to divest my watchlist from extranious listings and move all such edits to the other account. -- The Red Pen of Doom 14:40, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: Comedy WikiprojectsThe move has been taken following discussions with the Simpsons WikiProject. It was decided that the Comedy WikiProject should not tag the episodes because: a) People from WP:COMEDY had little to do with editing the articles. Nearly all of it was done by WP:SIMPSONS. It was seen that WP:COMEDY was simply tagging articles to increase the number of GAs, FAs and FLs it had. b) WP:SIMPSONS is a descendant WikiProject from WP:COMEDY. As a result, it is more under their control that WP:COMEDYs. As a result, it has been decided to de-tag WP:COMEDY from articles about comedy episodes which are already covered by descendant WikiProjects, such as WP:SEINFELD, WP:FG, WP:FUTURAMA and so on. Episodes which are not covered by a WikiProject dedicate to the series, such as 30 Rock, will still be covered by WP:COMEDY. ISD (talk) 18:39, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Star Trek ArchiveMost were stale, or not about improving the article. Stuff about fans or a fork lift say nothing about how to improve the article, which is the point of a talk page. You have to prune to get new growth. Darrenhusted (talk) 18:06, 29 May 2009 (UTC) Final Fantasy XIII - Gallery Images and PNG FilesI understand you're requesting further information upon the Licensing, this I can provide by extending their permissions. Only where have you put the speedy deletion tags? If I cant find them I can not add ((hangon)) if I can not find the tage on the 4 files. They have been added to an article, this was yesterday, their Licensing is that they have been released on the Internet to Publisise Square-Enix's upcoming Flagship title of the "Fabula Nova Crystallis" compilation and series. The use of these images is fully legal and it is legal to distribute them in this way. Wikipedia is a non-profit organisation website, so it is fully legal to be used on the website and by users. Unless wikipedia has a destinctive lack of trust. The images are within a Public Domain, it's easy to find them on the internet by many free image use websites. Furthermore they are being used within the Main FFXIII article within a Gallery formation under section = "Characters", this is why i originally uploaded the files for this intention, to allow people to give reference to the upcoming characters of the game with full images aswell as thumbnails in a gallery. Could you please contact me for further details as to how I can attain a correct licensing display in which to insert into the File descriptions so I may put across that the Images are free use due to them being within the public domain and they are being used in an article. Please Respond Promptly. The Cosmo 12:55, 6 June 2009 (UTC) You want me to list all the sources, they did'nt come from the same public domains, it will take a while to locate where they came from. Plus I'll add their reason for existance, they exist to give people instant visual reference to the Stated characters of the upcoming FFXIII, thats no problem. comment added by XCosmoX (talk • contribs) The Cosmo 17:24, 6 June 2009 (UTC) Thank you, only, it is a free image, surely images from Public Domains are free. —Preceding unsigned comment added by XCosmoX (talk • contribs) The Cosmo 17:24, 6 June 2009 (UTC) This I know, but these images have been released into the public domain through various media to publisise and be made available. These are not from game content (although the characters have been generated for game content) These images have not, they were captured for use such as this. The Cosmo 17:24, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh I think I understand now, It's the work of Square-Enix yes, all i need is the code in which to change the Licensing claim, as a "Non-Free 3D Art" as the images are 3D (graphically speaking). —Preceding unsigned comment added by XCosmoX (talk • contribs) The Cosmo 17:24, 6 June 2009 (UTC) Excellent, yes, I often forget to sign posts. I am currently a Wikipedia novice (if it is not obvious enough) But I'd love to contribute more, images is something I'd really like to get my head round because of all the licensing. Are you sure I should License them as Promotional, Non-Free 3D seemed more approprite. The Cosmo 17:24, 6 June 2009 (UTC) Then again your's does seem a lot more appropriate, I shall apply the new license tag and sources. Could you please remove the speedy deletion tags from the images and my talk page aswell. Thank You! The Cosmo 17:35, 6 June 2009 (UTC) I think I further misunderstood, you deleted the 4 previous files which i personally changes the image to "PLEASE DELETE" and you did, Great thanks, they were cluttering up Wikipedia, but I have been refering to these http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/File:Final_Fantasy_XIII_-_Lightning*.png http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/File:Snow_Villiers*.png http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/File:Final_Fantasy_XIII_-_Oerba_Dia_Vanille*.png http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/File:Sazh_Katzroy*.png. I will soon be getting some sleep, that may help. Could you also remove the non-free curiosity tags from the 4 files aswell please, that will be most helpful as other administrators will not be tempted to delete them under supersition. The Cosmo 17:41, 6 June 2009 (UTC) Thank You! You've been very helpful, I feel like I have attained something now by editing the FFXIII page successfully and uploading Highly detailed images. A lot of Square-Enix fans are going to be amazed when they see them. Also this is a leap in my Wikipedia Crafting Knowledge Thanks. The point of talk pages is that they should be easy to use, which means (a) that editors shouldn't have to scroll through too much text - either when reading, which means archives shouldn't be dozens of pages long, or when editing, which means headers shouldn't be over a page long). In addition, your edit broke the archiving chronology by moving the bot back onto Archive 1 when Archive 2 had some text in it. I've reverted this; if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 10:38, 2 September 2009 (UTC) ThankFor "Welcome" tag. I read the wiki guidelines and did not think it was out of line unless I missed something? Independent videos are going to be hard to find due to the cost to put them together. Wikipedia needs to figure out what to do regarding video links because its the future. If you spend some time on the Google Forum they plan on pushing the videos and blogs hard.
