Yahoo
Happy New Year Dave. I see from your user page, Yahoo is not delivering emails; do you know why this is? My account is also aligned with a Yahoo account so I think I might have to do the same. CassiantoTalk 19:48, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Cassianto, Thanks mate and a very Happy New Year to you too!, I had asked here back in August about it and in brief Yahoo refuses to send any WP emails because they think it's Spam, Bizarrely it works fine at Commons but just not here!, Cheers, –Davey2010Talk 20:08, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- I never really understood why I used to get an email telling me someone had left a message on my talk page; to be honest, they were bloody irritating. However, I do see a hinderance when it comes to someone sending me a private email about something which they would rather not share on my talk page. I think I might swap email address'. CassiantoTalk 20:26, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- You can disabled mail notifications at [[1]], I'd disabled email notifications either the day I signed up or the day Echo was installed here,
- Ah sorry I thought that's what you weer talking about - Nope all emails sent from editors via the WP system won't ever make it to you but I believe you can still recieve them with Google or Aol, Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 20:54, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. I have an AOL account so I'll give that a go. Incidentally, I see you are from Kent. I've just booked a weekend away to here. I loved the show (I was 11 when it first aired) but remember the series well. The older I've got the more that way of life has appealed to me. Kent is a beautiful county (with the exception of perhaps Gravesend and Margate). CassiantoTalk 22:46, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- I've never heard of that place but then again I've never been to Ashford - The views look amazing! :),
- Unfortunately Margate's never really improved!, I remember going there in the 90s/00s as a kid and it wasn't a brilliant place back then but it was certainly alot better than today,
- I agree some parts are beautiful but others not so much! lol. –Davey2010Talk 23:05, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I forgot about Chatham, although I've never been. It's odd; I'm only over the bridge but I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been to Kent. Far to infrequently. I'll swap it with you for Essex any day of the week! ;) CassiantoTalk 23:35, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hahaha nah you're fine thanks! , In all fairness tho it's the same everywhere - Some bits of an area are nice and others not much :) –Davey2010Talk 00:03, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

Redirects, thoughts, ets :)
Hi Davey2010, thanks for that. Just FYI really, but I think what happened is that, because I (unavoidably) created the redirect (by moving the page back), Twinkle thinks I'm the creator, and so it lets me know that NASTY PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO DESTROY MY WORK!!! ;) the good thing is, because I 'created' it, I think WP:CSD#U5 probably applies. Thanks again mate and take care, O Fortuna!...Imperatrix mundi. 19:01, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi, Once I checked the history I then realized what had happened - I assumed the other blokes name would've been there first but obvioiusly not lol, Oh damnit I'm sorry I'll revert my RFD at once , Annoyingly I didn't give CSD a thought ... I'm currently 97% asleep lol, Anyways If you want to CSD it I have no problems, No worries mate, Thanks and you take care too, –Davey2010Talk 19:07, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
- Night then! -I reckon if it happens again, you could probably use WP:CSD#G6, which is the sort of 'general housekeeping' one, since all you're doing is sweeping up rubbish by then. O Fortuna!...Imperatrix mundi. 19:17, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
- Don't! .... It's only 7pm here!, Anyway thanks again :), –Davey2010Talk 19:22, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
"No current source"
The phrase indicates that the article claims something is currently true, based on a source that is nowhere near current. On Lucy Dixon. the article claimed that a relationship had existed from 2011 to the present day, based on a 2012 source. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo). Treated like dirt by many administrators since 2006. (talk) 06:28, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Hullaballoo Wolfowitz, Ah sorry because it was dead I thought that was you was referring too so my apologies, I agree there would've needed to be a current source for it, Anyway thanks for your message, Happy editing, –Davey2010Talk 08:12, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
Admin
Get your adminship already! Don't let those suckas make you think it's some kind of promotion. Unrelated, I don't see a "new section" tab at the top of your talk page. Did you suppress that on purpose? Weird... (Not a criticism, just an observation.) Take care, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:54, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Cyphoidbomb, Haha unfortunately I can't - many many reasons lol, Someone mentioned this back in December and I assumed it was just them .... but I've just realized myself there's no tab either! , I somehow added a magicword which disabled it because I'm an idiot and apparently pasted this magicword to the talkpage rather than the archives! ... Now you can see why I'm not an admin!! , Thanks for reminding me as I would have never of remembered it & thus noticed lol, Thanks & you take care too :), –Davey2010Talk 18:06, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
Re. the above discussion
I came, I saw the 'new section' tab, I conquered...! It isthere- or am I missing something...? O Fortuna!...Imperatrix mundi. 18:13, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
- Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi - No no no It's there in all it's glory now!!! , I decided to be an idiot and paste "NONEWSECTIONLINK" at User talk:Davey2010/TalkpageTop[2] - it basically removes the New Section tab, Bizarrely I did it last year so I have no idea if it disappeared recently or for the entire year ?,
- But yeah it's back there now so you can use it to your hearts content lol, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 18:22, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
- Bizarre :) I thought it was something only I could see. IMAGINE THE POWER!!!! As for Rithie's point above... it does seem as if you find yourself with the consensus, in any case. O Fortuna!...Imperatrix mundi. 18:28, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
- Nope everyone can see it ... Well I hope so , Hahaha why send one message when you can millions and millions haha, Exactly!, I just think it's bizarre one would think I'd say something "to look cool", But hey ho that's their opinion, Anyway thanks for popping by again - It's always nice to see you here :), Take care :), –Davey2010Talk 18:47, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

Personal attacks
Don't reinsert gross personal attacks, like you did here and here. The person(s) who removed these were acting according to policy, your edits though violate WP:NPA. Further such edits will get you blocked. Fram (talk) 09:29, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
Fram - I don't necessarily agree with the comment used however calling some a crass moron isn't exactly something to worry over!, Ofcourse had Giano called someone the c word or similar then I could understand but a crass moron ... really?, Needless to say I would happily revert the NPA censorship and the PC brigade on words that aren't remotely offensive and if you want to block me then so be it. –Davey2010Talk 15:00, 31 January 2017 (UTC)- Nevermind I'm simply adding fuel to the fire so we'll say duly noted and move on, Happy editing. –Davey2010Talk 15:11, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

RFPP follow up question
Davey, in your RFPP request you mentioned "like Friday Download". Just want to make sure I didn't miss something here that also needed to be looked at, but doesn't look like that article has ever been protected and hasn't been edited much lately. -- ferret (talk) 19:57, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Ferret - My apologies I meant List of Friday Download episodes which had been indeffed some time last year, Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 21:17, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi again Ferret, Could the protection be changed to indef please as the IPs wont ever go (The List of FD eps was constantly temp protected until I got fed up & got it indeffed) - Most edits are made by registered accounts so no one is being disadvantaged, Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 21:32, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- I'm somewhat wary of this, but have decided to set indef as you've requested. I've also restored to what I believe represents the true last good, by BeanoMaster. -- ferret (talk) 21:57, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
Addition of prohibited and unreliable sources.
You have just added a lot of "sources" from the Daily Mail. Please be aware that following the recent RfC, use of such unreliable sources is now specifically prohibited on Wikipedia. EnoughsEnough (talk) 22:25, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
- I wasn't adding fuck all - I was rollbacking you disruptively removing them - there is a difference, Go and seek consensus for your removals or leave them be. –Davey2010Talk 22:27, 12 February 2017 (UTC)

- No worries Dave. I have however spotted some canvassing by the creator which I will mention about on the articles talk page once I link the diffs. Hope you're well. Class455 (talk|stand clear of the doors!) 00:18, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- Perhaps I'm wrong but I have a feeling the editor may be associated with her in some way - Seems a bit odd they're desperate for her to have an article, Yeah not too bad thanks and I hope you're well too :), –Davey2010Talk 00:27, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- I was thinking this too. I also note that an SPI has been opened involving the creator. Leonardo is now Case Design Stili
This is the new name of Leonardo. Channel 223 (Digitale terrestre) [3]Driante70 (talk) 19:13, 18 February 2017 (UTC)

Driante70 (talk) 19:17, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
- No at the moment they seem to be going by both names and at the moment their social media hasn't been updated - Move and change the article in March as by then everything should've been updated, Changing it now would only confuse people, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 19:21, 18 February 2017 (UTC)

HappyTape & Burtonskill
Hi.
Just passing along a heads-up - I've left messages on the talk pages for both Burtonskill & Happytape, as each is claiming that one of the poor quality gag images we've been removing is their own work, yet it's clearly the same person in each. Chaheel Riens (talk) 09:51, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Chaheel Riens, I've wanted to file an SPI from day one however apart from the same image uploads (and IMHO the same edit summary) I don't really have much evidence of them being the same person, Thinking about it I can easily file an SPI on Commons as it's not so strict over there, Give me 10 & I'll file one over there, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 14:06, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi again Chaheel Riens, I've now filed an SPI at Commons (diff), Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 15:10, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

File:РАФ-2203 Латвия.JPG
As File:РАФ-2203 Латвия.JPG was clearly overcategorized, why did you revert my edit? --Joostik (talk) 09:37, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- My excuses, I see you mostly restored my edit. --Joostik (talk) 09:41, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Joostik, My apologies I have no idea why I used rollback on you, Anyway once I reverted you I then realized the image was indeed over categorized, Usually when I upload cars for example I would put what the vehicle was, where it was and something along the lines of "Automobiles in X",
- With the above image I obviously have no idea where it is however some people might want to search and find Latvian vehicles so in that respect the "transport in Latvia" helps,
- Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:44, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Was it really necessary?
I noticed a reverting of an edit on a userpage that I removed a category for being inappropriate. Why did you revert the edit? *Xyaena~* (talk) 19:49, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Xyaena, First off I apologise for reverting with Twinkle - I had actually clicked undo however the moment I clicked undo the page bloody jumped!, I had actually explained in the 2nd edit summary but incase you never saw - In short the user may of wanted it kept as a redlink but either way it's doing no harm regardless of the CFD, If DS wants to remove it then great but as it stands I see no reason to remove it. –Davey2010Talk 19:54, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
- I did not expect to see profanities in the category was even fine. Alright then. *Xyaena~* (talk) 19:56, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
- At the end of the day it's his userpage and if wants that cat then it's up to him, If it was more obscene language or even worse on an article then fine but it's not so I don't really see any need to remove it, Thanks & Happy editing, –Davey2010Talk 20:09, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

Il mese scorso mi hai detto " No at the moment they seem to be going by both names and at the moment their social media hasn't been updated - Move and change the article in March as by then everything should've been updated, Changing it now would only confuse people, Thanks"
Io ho solo fatto quello che mi hai consigliato, posso capire cosa non va? Almeno un'occhiata a Wikipedia italiana potresti darla, dimmi che ne pensi.Driante70 (talk) 17:16, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, From what I've seen the channel still goes by the previous name, Italian Wiki is irrelevant and has no bearing here, As I've said I would suggest you file a request move, Not being Italian I may well have missed something and the RM could attract Italian editors, Also not be rude but could you write in English as my laptop cannot translate very well ... or at all really, Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 17:27, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Holyhead
Hi Davey2010, I think you've already decided for yourself that there isn't a Holyhead bus station. I'm in the wrong part of Wales for me to be a local expert, but having travelled along Google Street View I can only see a long bus stopping space in front of the railway station. No sign of a bus station anywhere, or any mention on bus timetables.
On a separate note, I might try and revive the Merthyr Tydfil bus station article - it's a large terminus and looks like the plans to redevelop it have been publicised in the press.
Bye for now Sionk (talk) 20:54, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Sionk, Ah okay thanks, Hadn't bothered with Maps seeing as I had no hope with web & book results lol, There were plenty of sources on it so if you want to create it then go ahead :), Thanks for your help anyway, Have a great week. –Davey2010Talk 20:59, 12 March 2017 (UTC)

RFD nbsp's
I'm not sure what was going on there, I was merely replying to several discussions in one edit. As you can see in my second attempt, where I only added the comment to one discussion in the "normal" way (i.e. edit section), it still converted to nbsp's. I suspect wikEd. 17:47, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Dreamland Margate Edits
Hi there, I noticed last night that the page for Dreamland Margate includes only 2 pictures, both of which show the park in a derelict state which it was in between 2006 and 2015. I added a nice historic picture from the 1920s plus a couple of pictures of the park today. However you have reverted these changes - could you please explain why? I think it is important to include some up-to-date pictures since anybody who looks through the page quickly without reading the text will get the impression that the park is still derelict, which is not true. I understand we can't be seen to be promoting the park, but I've had a look at a few other wikipedia pages for theme parks and they all seem to have at least a couple of pictures of the rides, as one might expect. Please advise the way forward as the current page does not accurately reflect the current state of the park. Thanks,
Peter Peet13 (talk) 12:24, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Peet13, First off thank you for uploading the images, IMHO 2 images added by you were promotional and shouldn't be in the article, I do agree entirely anyone looking through would get the impression it's derelict so I've self reverted but I've replaced one image of the ride with one as a whole,
- I agree there should be images of the rides too however they're all promotional, if they can be taken as if you were a tourist for the first time (basically like a normal every day photograph) then I obviously wouldn't have an issue, Thanks & Happy editing, –Davey2010Talk 14:16, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

I would suggest changing this to a free image - keep as non-free if you want, but in my view, there is not enough c:COM:TOO to copyright it - I would suggest use a license of {{PD-textlogo}} - it really is just a one colour background with a fairly standard font in one colour. Vandalism
Hi, need you help.
Two articles. Visa requirements for Chinese citizens of Macau and Visa requirements for British Nationals (Overseas).
User Robinho12345678 believes Macao Special Administrative Region passport is a Chinese passport, Passport of the U.K. is a British National (Overseas) passport and visa requirements are identical. The user doesn't listen to an explanation. Doesn't understand. The user has begun war of edits. Thanks. --Norvikk (talk) 10:40, 18 March 2017 (UTC)

Letterkenny
Hello Davey2010, I just wanted to find out a bit more about this edit to Letterkenny. It reverted a series of edits by an editor who seemed to be mostly removing inappropriate, unencyclopedic (and generally uncited) material from the article. For example, restored content on the music scene was either citation needed or a list of visiting acts with a nightclub as source. The Crime section has been making dramatic claims which make Letterkenny sound like a national hotbed of crime, as well as becoming like an "In the courts" section of a local paper. I'm not sure that Wikipedia is the place to list individual local crimes or even to have a Crime section at all, unless nationally or internationally renowned as such. Thanks in advance, Declangi (talk) 20:35, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
Hi Declangi, Looking at the diff I'm not sure why I reverted as as you say their edits were improvements and the cite removal was a good thing so not entirely sure what happened there, I'll readd their improvements now, Thanks for the message, Happy editing, –Davey2010Talk 20:57, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- Ah I reverted because a few cites were removed however looking now one's in Japanese/Chinese and another's dead, Not entirely sure if that section needed removing tho but anyway I've readded all of their edits back, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 21:06, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- Many thanks for taking another look and that was fast! Agreed that some content in those sections remains problematic, but I felt that the editor in question was making a start. Declangi (talk) 01:11, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
- No worries and Exactly every little helps!, Anyway thanks again for coming here instead of reverting, Have a great day. –Davey2010Talk 01:17, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

The return of the tape gag editor
Hi Davey.
I just noticed this and this edit to Gag (BDSM) and BDSM articles respectively. Quack quack says it's the same person as Burtonskill and Happytape. I've left a generic warning on the IP talk page, but just letting you know. The image itself could probably do with being looked at from a licensing point of view as well? Chaheel Riens (talk) 08:57, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Chaheel Riens, Ah thanks for letting me know, I can't really get both articles protected as the image additions aren't a frequent thing, I've asked one admin if he'd block them but I may have to go back to ANI, I've CSD'd the image so should be deleted within 10 minutes, Thanks for the heads up much appreciated, –Davey2010Talk 15:19, 25 March 2017 (UTC)

DATEVAR
So, did you read the special case? If you'd bothered to you'd realise that dates do not have to be consistent on each article - DATEVAR says specifically that special rules apply to dates in references. Actually read it and then go back and undo rather than acting as if you know the "right" way to do something in every case. Your edit summary makes it clear that you don't on this. Blue Square Thing (talk) 15:18, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
- Do you honestly have an issue with me changing 2 cites dates to DMY ...... really ?, It's pathetic and no I shan't be reverting anything - If you honestly have an issue over this very minor adjustment then by all means drag me to ANI otherwise I would suggest you grow up and actually contribute to this place instead of moaning over a very minor and rather pathetic issue. –Davey2010Talk 15:57, 27 March 2017 (UTC)

An end to Endian; or the curse of Endianism | |
WOW. An Endianism controversy gone wild. Remember, WOW is MOM spelled backward and upside down. You have my sympathy. Tend to it swiftly! And WOW/MOM is sort of a palindrome. {:>{)> 7&6=thirteen (☎) 17:46, 27 March 2017 (UTC) |

Removing of radio schedules
Hi you were removing radio schedules of KBS Cool FM, KBS Radio 2, SBS Love FM and SBS Power FM which were important information to kpop fans who want to know the programs of the mentioned stations, please don't remove the schedules and since your'e not a kpop fan don't mess with things that are not your interests or business. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyunah661992 (talk • contribs) 05:35, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

- Hyunah661992 - Class455 is spot on - Not only does the content you're reverting fail NOTTVGUIDE but they're all unsourced/unsourceable anyway, If fans want to see times and presenters they can check the radios website. –Davey2010Talk 09:32, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for your help with the cleanup process. From what I can tell, it is two days past April Fools and we are living in it. Maybe it is Groundhogs day! TonyBallioni (talk) 03:32, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hi TonyBallioni, To be fair I haven't done anything - I've only deleted 2 of my AFDs & that's it, I had planned to do them all later on today but it seems now is better than ever, Anyway thank you actually for your help with it all, Annoyingly we had to clean up last years April Fools AFDs and I won't be surprised if we'll all have to do it again next year!, Anyway thanks for your help :), –Davey2010Talk 03:38, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

- Oh right sorry, Yeah Zappy or whatever his name is appears to be going to mad with the CSD template!, I've warned him to stop before he does more damage, relists were bad enough!, Anyway thanks and you have one too! - You deserve it! :) –Davey2010Talk 03:47, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- Not a problem. I think we're good with cleanup for now unless more people complain about the transclusions causing issues. I don't want to be the cause of people not having their fun, and I do appreciate the tradition side of it. Now for Netflix before bed. TonyBallioni (talk) 03:56, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

McAfee move
I just saw that you reverted my move of Intel Security to McAfee because there was "no consensus." However, this is a uncontroversial change that reflects the current state of the company. Intel Security no longer exists, so why have an article about another company have that title? heat_fan1 (talk) 19:11, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, Apologies for the long delay, That may well be however I believe this to be a controversial move and it should be discussed, It's always better to go the extra mile and actually get consensus for it, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 20:23, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- Okay, I added the Request for move tag to the Talk page. For my future editing decisions, can you give me an example of what here might be controversial? If something like this is controversial, what kind of move might you consider uncontroversial? heat_fan1 (talk) 13:25, 17 April 2017 (UTC)

Invitation to beta-test IABot
Hello Davey2010! I would like to invite you to help beta test the interface for InternetArchiveBot. IABot is a bot designed to help mitigate link rot on Wikipedia. Users can control the bot by using a Management Interface that was designed to be integrated with and similar to Wikipedia (For example, only autoconfirmed users can run the bot; on-wiki administrators have admin access on the tool; user permissions on the tool are flag based; logs are kept; etc.)
If you'd like to help out, feel free to give the interface a go to check for bugs/anomalies/other weird things and send your feedback to Cyberpower678, the bot operator. Again, the interface is at http://tools.wmflabs.org/iabot/ (If it's down for maintenance right now, it'll be back up shortly). If you are not interested, feel free to ignore this message. Thanks, —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 22:50, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
Restoring 420 Collab announcements that you removed?
I thought from the discussion on the Collab page that you were going to go back and self-revert to restore the 420 Collab announcements which you removed? Goonsquad LCpl Mulvaney (talk) 06:32, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
- Goonsquad LCpl Mulvaney - All notices that I removed have all been reinstated by me however a few different editors have either reverted me or removed them. –Davey2010Talk 15:09, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
- Cool, I'll AGF, but I've run across a couple pages where you were the last person to remove it and it was never restored, like WT:WPFILM. Just noting you may have missed a few. Goonsquad LCpl Mulvaney (talk) 15:47, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Goonsquad LCpl Mulvaney, If I have missed any then obviously it was accidental, Do you have any links as to which I've missed so I can revert, If not I'll go through my contribs again, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 18:28, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
- No worries, I caught 3 or 4, but if you have a minute to quickly scan your contribs, that'd be great. I concur that we should've found a more standardized way to issue invites, and with more top-cover, though I disagree that we spread it egregiously beyond WPs where there's a clear crossover. No hard feelings, glad folks worked it out. Goonsquad LCpl Mulvaney (talk) 18:59, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Goonsquad LCpl Mulvaney, Okie dokie I'll recheck around 10/11pm, I shan't moan but I do agree there should've been a better way of doing them, Anyway thanks for your message, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 19:08, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hi again Goonsquad LCpl Mulvaney, I've checked my contribs and I believe all have been reverted, Problem is anyone could've edited the talkpages since it all happened so really I would never know and as there was about 200 reverted and reinstated I'm not going to open every page up individually to find out, If you know of any talkpages that wasn't catched then by all means revert, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 23:02, 22 April 2017 (UTC)

Revert on Vehicle
Davey2010, How have you been? I am not really editing here much due to now having Facebook and I also unfortunately broke up with my girlfriend 3-4 weeks ago :( I noticed that you made an edit revert on some images on Vehicle, but when I added these, I used my high quality DSLR shots, which I found were a little bit clearer for the audience to view it.
I would like to get your opinion on the following images.
For the replacement of File:Tata Marcopolo Green Chandigarh Ind.jpg, I believe that the image of the bus is very badly framed and also does not look very good for the article. I have proposed the following images below that I would like you to decide to replace the badly framed image.
-
Option 1 (mailer_diablo)
-
Option 2 (my shot)
-
Option 3 (Au Morandarte – Flickr)
Please decide on the following images and see which of the three are the best for me to replace the badly framed image.
For the car, image, now my friend wants me to replace File:Luxury Car 2.jpg, with a high quality image which you reverted.
Please decide on the following images and see which of the three are the best for me to replace the awful quality image
-
Option 1
-
Option 2
-
Option 3 (my shot)
-
Option 4 (my shot)
Out of the three images, which one would work. I found out that option 4 is the best because it is perfectly positioned in the shot. Option 1 has quite a lot of reflections.
Please decide as soon as you can, because I then can finalise which of these would be suitable.
Enjoy your day/night
Best regards, --EurovisionNim (talk to me)(see my edits) 15:16, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hi EurovisionNim, I don't have a problem with you adding a few of your images here and there but in this case you were taking up the entire article all with your images which is unfair to other photographers, You're a great photographer no doubt about it but images in articles need to be varied authors not just yours. –Davey2010Talk 15:21, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- I just broke up with my girlfriend, so thats why I am not doing much thinking as I used to do :( --EurovisionNim (talk to me)(see my edits) 15:22, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

Chutti TV page improvement
Hello Davey2010, I deleted the references section in the Chutti TV page which may contain external promotional links. But I improved the page by adding the list of shows and animated movies broadcast by the channel and the content providers of that channel as it doesn't produce its own content but air the content aquired from other companies. It's all the reliable information as I am from India and follower of this channel. There is no chance for vandalism, so don't revert my edits
--61.3.5.33 (talk) 07:15, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- Reverted - The list was unsourced and you had also removed the various templates.... –Davey2010Talk 10:21, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- Okay then, tell me what kind of sources to find for the list of shows and movies? Most of the shows are acquired without knowledge of common people and fandom. You can find the names of the shows in the list on the official website of Chutti TV and older TV schedules of the channel. But I found found some broadcast deals' articles of Chutti TV with other companies. Are those enough?
- Hi 117.197.217.63, Yep those are fine, I should warn you tho that someone may revert per WP:NOTTVGUIDE - Personally I don't mind these lists providing each and every programme is sourced, Thank, –Davey2010Talk 12:44, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- BTW The Chutti TV website cannot be used as a source because the URL doesn't change (IE when you select Chutti TV from the drop down menu - The URL (http://www.sunnetwork.in/Program.aspx) remains the same regardless of what channel you select so unfortunately because of this it cannot be used), Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:51, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- Then can I please re add the list of shows and movies? I'll re add the content providers list after sourcing all those articles in the references section. --2405:204:6286:592C:FEDB:3716:DEF9:7BDA (talk) 17:04, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hi 2405:204:6286:592C:FEDB:3716:DEF9:7BDA, I'll readd the shows but they'll be hidden - If you don't source it then it'll be removed again, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 17:38, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- I'll definitely source it. But as I said before most of the broadcast deals are done without the knowledge of public. Also as you said before that older TV schedules listing cannot be added. But I think those articles would be enough. Meanwhile you can add movies list and content providers list too and make them hidden until I source those articles in the references. Please do. --2405:204:6286:592C:47BD:B6A:6146:3CC (talk) 17:52, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- I absolutely understand and in all fairness it's not going to be easy but that's how this place is - Everything needs to be backed up with sources, I would advise you source atleast 90-95% of the content and I'll deal with the rest (If the programmes that are in the article are also on the Chutti TV website then leave those and I'll deal with them too), I've added everything back, I'll give about 2 months which should be plenty of time so if after 9 July there's not sourced then I'm afraid it's all going and shan't be readded under any circumstances, Thanks for taking this on anyway, Happy editing, –Davey2010Talk 17:59, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hello, the list is in three coloumns side by side, it is looking very clumsy and inconvinent to read. Can you please change it back to single column? But as I said before most of the broadcast deals are done without the knowledge of public. So I can hardly source 50% of the shows. But for a channel like this it would be enough
- I changed it back to single column and removed some of the irrelevant information mixed in it. I hope you let it be like that. Also I re hid it. The list shows are in broadcast order ie premiered on television — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2405:204:6286:592C:C81D:41C:228B:45A3 (talk) 13:33, 10 May 2017 (UTC) --2405:204:6286:592C:447D:147E:2B6:FBF8 (talk) 03:30, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, Unfortunately they all have to be sourced - As I said for the ones on the website I can deal with them but the rest do need sourcing, If you can't find sources then the unsourced ones will have to be removed,
- The 3 columns make it look neater and much more tidier however that's not a concern at the moment - I'm more bothered about the sources lol, Cheers, –Davey2010Talk 15:04, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, I 'll try then. But if I cannot source almost all of the content, will the (all) list of shows and movies be removed? Can I source past past TV listings then, if I find some? Also three coloumns will not make it neater in this case because after Chutti TV acquires content airs on their channel they change most of the names of shows and I added those names too besides the original name with an hyphen. So looks neater in single column, also then shows in broadcast order would be nice. What do you think?--117.197.225.135 (talk) 15:35, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, Nope I'll only remove the individual programmes that aren't sourced, Ofcourse - By all means include "former programmes" too if you like :),
- That is one issue to the columns but anyway source what you can and I'll play about with the layout after,
- Ofcourse they can be in any order you like :),
- Thanks again for kindly taking this on, Regards, Dave / –Davey2010Talk 16:52, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

Inappropriate use of 'collapse' templates
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
You've not the right to collapse the only substantial part of that discussion. Consequently, your collapsing has been reverted. In future, please refrain from such attempts at hiding the substance of the discussion from the future closer. RGloucester — ☎ 16:32, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- See WP:SIGCLEAN for clear guidelines saying cautious collapsing of comments is allowed. Given that 3 editors support collapsing, and at least two additional editors have complained that the wall of text is unhelpful, rough consensus to collapse the comments appears to be exist. RGloucester, please stop. You're not helping yourself, or anyone else. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 17:00, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- I don't really care about the 'complaints' of editors who haven't the concern to read the text in question. All of it is on-topic, all of it is relevant, and all of it deals with policies, guidelines, and reliable sources. I shan't have it be collapsed in this manner, as such clearly does not fall under the guidelines you've cited. - RGloucester - I have the right to close any discussion especially one that involves arguements that aren't helping and are infact taking up alot of the talkpage,
- You disagree with automobile - You stated that in your oppose !vote so therefore badgering every fucker on that talkpage helps absolutely no one and infact the only thing you are doing is causing hostility and uncivilness with everyone,
- I've seen your snarky tone with everyone especially when you can't get your own way however I won't have it on this talkpage so I would ask infuture you stay off this talkpage (unless it's relevant notifications),
- Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 17:20, 16 May 2017 (UTC)

Chloe Khan
Please stop being rude on that article. You removed all my edits there. You don't bother improving the article instead revert it all. This edit summary is deceptive, I did not remove any sourced content instead expanded it. The text regarding drug use and sex work is controversial and I added references which deny these allegations. You can't revert everyone's edits without giving edit summaries. They are not vandalism. handout for students editing articles about books/films
Hi there,
I'm hoping to solicit your feedback regarding a handout Wiki Ed is developing for students who want to work on articles about books: User:Ryan (Wiki Ed)/Books. It will be a print guide that supplements other resources and materials for student editors, like the interactive training and brochures that address broader aspects of editing, like etiquette, NPOV, citing sources, working in sandboxes, using the talk page, etc. This guide focuses only on aspects of editing required for contributing to articles about books in classroom settings. We're hoping to get some feedback from the community by the end of Monday, so we can send it off to the printer before the end of the month. I realize that's not a lot of time so no worries if you don't get to it. I see that you're active in both WikiProject Books and Film, so I'll mention there's one other draft we're looking for feedback on, for editing articles about films, if that's also/more of interest. Thanks. --Ryan (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:28, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Ryan (Wiki Ed), Sorry for the long delay, Unfortunately I probably won't be able to help as I need get 11 articles sourced (they've sat in my to do list since March and now I have a week free I want to get them all done), If I have a spare 5-10 minutes I'll take a look and chip in but can't promise anything,
- Thanks for your message tho it's extremely appreciated :),
- Have a great weekend, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 23:58, 26 May 2017 (UTC)

Userboxes
Hey, how did you get your userboxes on the right side of your userpage without interfering with anything else? It seems like whenever I do it, something intersects with the userboxes, but I saw your userpage, and it looked really clean with the userboxes all aligned to the right. How did you do this? –XboxGamer22408talk 20:38, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) I'm having a go, hope you don't mind, but the clue's in the coding. Have a look at Davey's section and copy that, would be my advice. Failing that, I usually pester RexxS into fixing my coding problems. CassiantoTalk 20:57, 10 June 2017 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Trina Michaels
I hope you reconsider here, this person doesn't have to pass WP:PORNBIO, she actually passes WP:ENTERTAINER, her porn attribution should increase her notability, not decrease. I think there is a bias on Wikipedia regarding pornographic material, however in the essence of Wikipedia policy this should not be the case. This particular actress should not be deleted and is different from the other nominations which that administrator has marked as she pass more than WP:PORNBIO. Whataboutism
I think you may have missed the extensive discussion on the talk page about my change since you are advising me to go to the talk page.
The change you just reverted has nothing to do with the other change I made and which Volunteer Marek has engaged in an edit war over.
I have come here to try to understand your point and clear up any confusion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DeadEyeSmile (talk • contribs) 00:54, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
- My Apologies DeadEyeSmile I obviously hadn't realised you went to the talkpage first, Although there's a discussion it's more or less centered around you "belittling the source" - I'm not going to get into a debate over whether you are or not however my best advice is if you have an issue with Teen Vogue then you need to find a replacement source, if it's the text then it maybe best you start an RFC, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 01:41, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
- No problem I am learning here so any guidance is helpful. I know that the discussion is very long winded so I don't expect you to read the whole thing. Can you point me to what is involved in starting an RFC? DeadEyeSmile (talk) 01:48, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hi DeadEyeSmile - WP:RFC is basically Request for Comments - IE people can Support or Oppose whatever proposal you make on the talkpage and RFCs attract a wide range of editors who don't even edit in these topics - Ofcourse if you make a proposal and tons of people oppose then it's not a great idea to do another RFC as it would be closed instantly, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 01:54, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
- I see, thanks for the info. Sometimes it is confusing how to proceed. Before your suggestion I did some research and thought WP:DRN was the right way to proceed so already did that. DeadEyeSmile (talk) 02:00, 26 June 2017 (UTC)

User talk:Bgc7676
Just wanted to let you know that your assessment of WP:DELTALK was slightly wrong, because there's a common circumstance in which deleting a user's talk page is the normal thing to do — when the user creates his talk page as a piece of spam. I'm always finding those listed in CAT:CSD. Nyttend (talk) 11:02, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Nyttend, Ah so we do, I've just looked at the Deletion logs and there's tons deleted by various admins for various reasons, Was there some sort of RFC for this recently as I'm just so convinced this never used to happen ? Then again It's been a long time since I did CSD work so I could've just forgot but wouldn't of thought so ?, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 13:23, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

User:118 alex has found a way to (illegally) hack into his main and sockpuppets despite the global locks.
Hi, 118 alex the sockmaster has found a way to (illegally) hack into his main and sockpuppets despite the global locks. He says he will hack into his sockmaster/puppets at 1600 Singapore Time. Could you/your fellow administrators block indefinitely (TP) access and disable email service to all his sockmaster(118 alex's)/puppets'((118(0-9)) alex's) Wikimedia Foundation accounts. Thank you and have a nice day. 180.255.242.88 (talk) 05:27, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, He can still log in to all accounts but can't edit with them, If he abuses the email function then email access would be disabled but at this point as far as I know he's not abusing it so seems pointless disabling, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 13:05, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

- DoRD found them unrelated. But something else: this IP, 180.255.242.88 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), is the same person, I'm sure, as 180.255.242.90 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), who was blocked by Defender for cross-wiki abuse. Hello, I saw your messages and I am scared at what you say. I heard about sockpuppets accounts and hacking stuff. I don't know any other account than this (being the original creator of this account). My account was probably hacked as I didn't chat with any administrator and I saw talking about Singapore Hour; I am from Romania. Was I using a VPN or not? I don't know because I share my computer but I am sure that person couldn't do this. I don't know what to understand...1193 ALEX (talk) 08:42, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- 1193 ALEX, let's not get carried away. Some troll says someone hacked someone else--no reason to believe it. Look at your contributions. If there are edits made from your account that you didn't make, then you're hacked, or you suffer from amnesia. If not, you're not. Drmies (talk) 13:54, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
Sorry for this disturbing but I don't understand what happened. I realized that my account wasn't hacked but I don't know why my edits were reverted... 1193 ALEX (talk) 04:29, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- @1193 ALEX: You shouldn't shared your personal computer or account to your friends or relatives, that is compromised accounts, and which against on Wikipedia policies, users who have been compromised account may result in blocking policy, so please make note on that. Your this edit maybe contain unsourced information and would get reverted by other editors, the Zu TV, which have no any sources existed in the article, regards. SA 13 Bro (talk) 09:31, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
@Drmies: I think we get trolled by 118 alex, he also make the troll at User talk:NinjaRobotPirate rather than better having User:Nate Speed here is mentioned, so we just WP:RBI, they're wasting our time. SA 13 Bro (talk) 10:03, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
That infobox
So just after I saw your revert I ran into Finnish Civil War, which has an infobox that's just as bloated as the Donbass one--and, gasp, it's an FA, so perhaps I'm totally wrong. But then I checked which version passed FA review, and it's this one, where there's only five names (and, thanks heavens, no flags). But perhaps it's the wave of the future? In the whole infobox dispute, I've been on either side, or neither side, but cases like this make me see the validity of some of the opponents of infoboxes. The "bloated" Donbass infobox, I just measured it--it takes up 17k, which is five percent of the article. Anyway, thanks--I appreciate the support. Drmies (talk) 03:17, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Drmies, I bloody hope it's not!, Good god does it really ?, I knew it would've took quite some space but never thought it would've been 5% of the article!, Looking at that infobox I'm debating on whether or not to remove the whole Commanders and Leaders bit and replace it from this version however not knowing much about the Finnish Civil War I don't know if those listed actually played a major role in it all?, Ah no worries, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:42, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

Brightside Primary School Notability
It seems like you are trying to get into an Edit War with me over the Brightside Primary School page. It seems to fulfill Notability to me. Perhaps worth discussing rather than just reverting. Michaelancs (talk) 15:01, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- Michaelancs - As per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES primary schools aren't notable unless there's indepth coverage in reliable sources ... which there isn't here..., We've both not reverted in well over a month so in that respect there's no edit war occurring.
I'm assuming you're affiliated with the school which if that's the case you should read WP:COI,Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 16:15, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- Cheers for pointing me in the direction of those guidelines, had not seen them before. I am not affiliated with the school whatsoever, I have made a range of different edits over the last few months to various articles so found that assumption a bit presumptuous. Nevertheless, appreciate your help in pointing out the AfD document. Michaelancs (talk) 18:07, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Michaelancs, Whoops please accept my apologies - Judging by this post as well as your edits there I simply put 2 & 2 together and in this came up with 5 so apologies for that, Ofcourse if you could find reliable sources then I'd be more than happy to revert - Although I do have access to a library I quite honestly wouldn't know where to begin and there wouldn't be any guarantee I'd find anything so I said if you did or could find anything I'd be more than happy to revert, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 18:15, 2 July 2017 (UTC)

Bluestar fleet
The fleet is not unsourced, it does have a source indeed. My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 19:34, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- The source being a bus enthusiasts' web site (the website states this) - It's no different to me compiling a list of buses in an area and uploading them on that website - I could be wrong or could've made them up which can easily be the case here. –Davey2010Talk 19:38, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- I suppose you're right, the source is unreliable; I must admit that I had to ask the webmaster last week to change the depot location of some of the E200MMCs that Bluestar have, because I noted that they are wrong. Do you see any reliable way of having fleetlists? My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 19:41, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I don't, If you wanted it could all be prosed I wouldn't really have an issue with that and I suppose the source could be used however He who shall not be named will no doubt remove that anyway so it may be best not to include anything at all, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 19:46, 3 July 2017 (UTC)

NFCC and resolution
re File:Uncle cast.jpg: Non-free media should be as small as possible while still serving its purpose (see WP:IMAGERES). The small version depicts the characters just as well as the large version, and there's no important details or text that the smaller version renders unreasonable, so we must use the smaller version. (for a counterexample to this, see File:Windows 95 Desktop screenshot.png). – Train2104 (t • c) 15:23, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
- Train2104 - There is no actual guideline as to how small images should be, That all being said I'll play about tomorrow and reupload a smaller version, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 15:25, 7 July 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I've been asked to look at this complaint in more depth. I've got to nip out now, but can I just advise you to leave the reverting alone for a minute. I know subjects shouldn't try and WP:OWN their content and legally I don't think they've got a leg to stand on, I get that, but I do sort of see their point that you're kind of doing the same as a tabloid newspaper paparazzi. After the whole kerfuffle with the Monkey selfie these things need a little light touch and diplomacy, which are sometimes in short supply around here. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:55, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Ritchie333, Not having a go at you but we shouldn't remove images "just because the blp doesn't like it" ... not being a dick but the BLP not liking the image isn't our problem, As I said at RFPP I did explain to Footmsudge what to do etc etc, That all being said I did plan to stop anyway as technically I never mentioned the talkpage or BRD in my first 2-3 edit summaries so don't really have much of a leg to stand on myself, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:03, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
- Also I've self reverted atleast for now and left a message on the talkpage in the hope it might achieve something instead of the back & fourth warring which is slowly getting no where, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:05, 9 July 2017 (UTC)

Your edit
Davey mate, I noticed you made an edit reinstating images. I had a look at the review, unfortunately you have added back too many unnecessary large images causing the article to be squashed.
I simplified the article down by removing all the unnecessary images and made sure that the readers can read the article easily. I ensured a variety of authors to make it fair. Love to hear your responses --EurovisionNim (talk to me)(see my edits) 10:53, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hi EurovisionNim, Alot of the images you deleted didn't need to be deleted however comparing both images yours does look a lot more tidier but some of the images removed didnt need to be removed, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:45, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
- My recommendation is that you put only the necessary images required. Remember, as my Human Biology teacher said to me and I quote "Quality over quantity, if an assignment is 800 words, and you write 600 quality words with all the details, you will get a greater mark compared to writing 800 unnecessary words." This is the same with Wikipedia, keep it simple and neat. --EurovisionNim (talk to me)(see my edits) 13:31, 13 July 2017 (UTC)

July 2017 - Rogue Traders: Episode List
Hi. Please understand that I cannot agree to your reasoning for reverting my edits to Rogue Traders (TV series), because there is a serious issue here that you are not understanding, so allow me to explain.
The episode list should be focused on the show's run between 2001 - 2009, when it was an independant programme and not a part of BBC's Watchdog, after the latter was revamped with a new set up. When Rogue Traders was merged to Watchdog, the programme ceased to be nothing more than a multi-part segment of Watchdog. As such, the Episode List as it is, is not only incorrectly set out, it does not correlate with the programme during its independent run on BBC 1. Keeping it on and saying "as no episodes are on the actual Rogue Traders website meaning the pre-watchdog eps may have just been put on the Watchdog website" is not a good reason at all. What is there must be deleted; the only episodes that should be there are those from the 2001-2009 run, not during the Watchdog era; those ones are films for the Rogue Trader segment, not of the programme itself.
I will revert again, but if I see you revert this one more time, I will refer the matter to another. I will not agree to your reasoning on this, but it is incorrect.GUtt01 (talk) 21:19, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- Right let me explain as clear as I possibly can - I'm aware of the merge etc because I used to watch it - Right what I'm saying is this - There are no episodes on the Rogue Tarders BBC site okay ... so what I'm saying is the BBC may well have put these episodes under the "Watchdog" site even tho they were not Watchdog episodes at the time .... Does that make sense?,
- In short the BBC may well have made an error no one knows - The Rogue Traders site is missing Series1-4 so somewhere along the lines they may have fluffed it all up..... Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 21:26, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- If that is the case, why do you keep putting back the episode list section? That is the Rogue Traders segment films for Watchdog; they shouldn't be assiocated to the article, because the article is about Rogue Traders when it used to be a programme, not as it is now as a segment of Watchdog. And surely there must be other sites out there that can reveal what those episodes for the 2001-2009 run? GUtt01 (talk) 21:36, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- Do you have any actual proof these programmes were for Watchdog and not actually Rogue Traders?, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 21:56, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- I don't proof perse, but there is no evidence that they have been shown as independent episodes, since Rogue Traders no longer operates as an independent programme. Also, these "episodes" are not programmes, they are films - when Watchdog was merged to Rogue Traders, the latter was made into segments for the former. As such, anything shown in these are merely films for the segment, not a programme in itself. GUtt01 (talk) 22:05, 22 July 2017 (UTC)
- As I've said everywhere else I had no idea these were Watchdog episodes - I just assumed you were removing them on the basis of "You thought" ... I never gave it a thought to check so nope this was entirely my error so again my sincerest apologies!, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 22:10, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

Mac Robertson Girls High School
Hi, I would like to talk about the changes that you are trying to make on the Mac Robertson Girls High School page, but because you are engaging in edit warring instead of discussion on the talk page, I am finding it difficult to engage with you. It is well established that when there is a dispute, the status quo prevails until consensus can be reached on the talk page. Furthermore, your insistence that you have checked for sources before removing the material is questionable at best, seeing as the time difference in between your removals of entire sections was less than a minute, and even when I provided you with sources, you simply reverted them. But this is a matter for the article's talk page, not edit summaries.
I would also like to inform you as a courtesy that you are in violation of WP:3RR, a very important policy on Wikipedia. Because of our policies on assuming good faith, I will not choose to take this matter further if you undo your previous reversions, and seek consensus before making any more controversial changes (including, but not limited to, the removal of material). Peace! Orthogonal1 (talk) 03:59, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- Unfortunately you're the one that's edit warring, WP:UNSOURCED clearly states "The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material", It also states " If you think the material is verifiable, you are encouraged to provide an inline citation yourself before considering whether to remove or tag it."
- As school articles like this get to next to none attention tags could stay for well over 10 years and still not be sourced,
- Now you have added sources at the end of the paragraphs and that's great however each sentence more or less needs to be sourced still - Even if it's the same source being used 3 or 4 times in one paragraph it's better than just dumping one citation at the end of the paragraph especially when sources don't mention the stuff before where the cite is placed,
- Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 12:01, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- You're missing the point. From WP:Edit warring: 'An editor who repeatedly restores his or her preferred version is edit warring, regardless of whether their edits were justifiable: "but my edits were right, so it wasn't edit warring" is no defense'. So even assuming that you are completely correct and I am completely wrong with regards to the content, this is irrelevant in determining whether or not you are edit warring. Please restore the content, and then we will discuss this on talk. Orthogonal1 (talk) 21:58, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- Well it is .... you're adding improperly/unsourced material which therefore should be removed - If I were the one adding unsourced material then I too would expect it to be removed, The content isn't being restored however as I've said multiple times if you source each sentence then it can be readded...., if you cannot source each sentence then I'm afraid it'll have to stay off the article, Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 22:02, 23 July 2017 (UTC)

- Also I should quickly add we don't need the over-detail on school magazines either - A simple prose would do and if you were add a simple sentence with the cite I'd be more than happy for that to be readded,
- As for the alumni - LinkedIn isn't a source, "Martha Macintyre" doesn't have an article so regardless of sourcing she shouldn't be included, Last but not least we don't need school rankings either - That's wholly irrelevant. –Davey2010Talk 22:08, 23 July 2017 (UTC)

Optare OmniDekka
Hi, I believe that the page over at Scania OmniDekka should be named Optare OmniDekka as I attempted to do before you reverted it while I was in the middle of editing the page to match; see also Optare Visionaire and Optare Esteem for convention on naming East Lancs/Darwen/Optare vehicles. Buttons0603 (talk) 17:35, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Buttons, The vehicle is always referred to as "Scania Omnidekka" - Techinically it may or may not be correct however it is COMMONNAME which is why I reverted, ofcourse If you want to start an RM I'd have no objections, Cheers, –Davey2010Talk 17:43, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
Articles for deletion/Ashish Bisht (2nd nomination)
Hi Ashish Bisht is Known Actor he did so many Ads Ans one Movie Call Shab He is main lead Please review it again (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jinnu0007 (talk • contribs) 09:18, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Jinnu0007, The only AFD I closed was Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ashish Bisht and that was only closing after it was deleted by an admin - I'm not an admin but even If I was the article has gone through 2 AFDs since and both times deleted so unfortunately there's no chance of this even being undeleted and if created it's only going to be creation-protected so it may be a wise idea to forget this article and contribute elsewhere, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 13:11, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
