I notice this page is wrong. Showcase TV still exists, its why I cme to this page to read about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.4.229.249 (talk) 12:17, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The page is correct. The TV channel Showcase TV owned by CSC Media closed in 2009 and was replaced by True Entertainment (another CSC Media channel). There is however a different TV channel called Showcase at channel 201 on the Sky Electronic Programme Guide. As far as I can tell, that Showcase is owned by Information TV Limited - we don't have an article on the channel or the channel's owners, but it is listed at List of channels on Sky. Showcase is also currently available on UK Freesat. It seems to me that this should be the main subject of this page, with the defunct channel also mentioned, or moved to the disambiguation page. Lindosland (talk) 18:00, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Did you not read my comment immediately above? 'Showcase' is a totally different channel to 'Showcase TV'... different channel, different owners. The channel currently on Freesat channel 403 and Sky channel 201 perhaps should have its own article (perhaps Showcase (Information TV)) if you can find some reliable sources and care to write it. In the meantime, the best option is to visit Information TV#Showcase TV. I have updated the hatnote on this article to direct readers there. Astronaut (talk) 10:46, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Showcase [the Information TV service] was also where you could watch movies from the Eurocinema film service...and I think it could be found somewhere around the 250-260 channel section on Freeview about 5 years ago
