Picture license...?
Hi Crisco 1492 :)
I was just wondering if this picture has a free license to publish....it's on this city council website. If it's not, would you happen to know how I can release its rights?
Thank You! Regards, -- MelbourneStar☆ (talk to me) 12:38, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
- The website has the copyright symbol at the bottom (©2011) so the picture is probably copyrighted. It seems you want the picture of the building, so you are free to take a picture yourself. It would be considered freedom of panorama, and okay under Australian law. If you are unable to take a picture yourself, I would suggest Flickr but I am not sure if anyone would have a picture of it. Neutrality dispute over Star Trek episode
I noticed that you put a neutrality dispute on Investigations (Star Trek: Voyager). If this wasn't a slip of the finger using TW, what's the problem with it? (Maybe you thought Tom Paris leaving would be a good thing.) - Fayenatic (talk) 13:14, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
- For example, "Worse still, Neelix finds out that someone on board has betrayed the crew and is sending information to an enemy race, the Kazon". It reads like a fan review right now; this may be more of a tone thing, but I think neutrality also applies. Crisco 1492 (talk) 04:23, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Article
Hello! Your submission of Article at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! morelMWilliam 14:50, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
- The references are redirecting to the article page itself and also, could you add the references that state the facts in the hook? morelMWilliam 14:51, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
Assesses
I havent read guidelines for so long I hardly remember what they look like - single refs is always a problem - down one step for that - mutiple RS are always preferable. Also it is complicated where good referencing is done and substance is there - as that can bump it back up - bit of a see-saw really - like watching wayang - the one side vs the other - it all balances out in the end - not a very good answer - btw if you keep writing articles like that - the rest of indonesian project mungkin lihat aneh :/ SatuSuro 02:24, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

αδζ ψακ φρψερ 09:39, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
Terjemahan Bahasa Bali
Terima kasih atas pemberitahuannya. Salam. M. By the way
I am in Jakarta until the end of the month. If there's anything I can do while I'm here, let me know. —Arsonal (talk + contribs)— 17:11, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm... I can't think of anything urgent, but pictures would always be greatly appreciated. I think we are missing pictures for some buildings and whatnot, like Kamal Muara Stadium (and a couple other stadiums). Having pictures of Trisakti University, especially the memorial to the Trisakti shootings and the Dr. Syarif Thayes building, would be useful for a couple articles too. The ex-Yogya Plaza area may also be useful, as would a few pictures of the Chinese-Indonesian culture in Glodok. I can't think of any articles that need information only available in Jakarta, just pictures. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:12, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- Do you know where the memorial is? I passed by Trisakti the other day since I live nearby, and the front gate now has a big sign that says "Kampus Pahlawan Reformasi", a label I think they're quite proud to wear. I don't go to Glodok very often, but I'll keep that in mind if I happen to pass by. —Arsonal (talk + contribs)— 08:02, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- I think it is inside the campus (according to the Jakarta Post), but the exact location seems to be difficult to ascertain. BTW, assuming the song "Gugur Bunga" is public domain, do you have any idea where we could find a free recording? Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:36, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- You're in luck. Because Ismail Marzuki died more than 50 years ago (in 1958), Indonesian law stipulates that the original song is in public domain. The problem, then, is finding a recording faithful to the original version, rather than an improvised version. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for this. —Arsonal (talk + contribs)— 18:37, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- And that's the kicker. Oh well, at least I managed to write a little bit about "Gugur Bunga". I'm just worried that I haven't shown notability well enough yet. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:02, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- Another idea for a picture. If you get the chance to go to Monas (and the flag has already been moved there), could you get a picture of Bendera Pusaka in the Independence Room? I have an article about it being prepared for DYK on 17 August (currently at User:Crisco 1492/Bendera Pusaka) Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:21, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
- I'm asking Gunkarta first. He seems to have visited Monas last October. I asked whether he managed to grab a photo of the flag. —Arsonal (talk + contribs)— 18:10, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. Enjoy your mudik Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:10, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

RE: DYK for Fokker FG-2
Hi Crisco, I've been away from Wikipedia for the past few days doing work in real life. I've just seen your message, and I've addressed your concern in the Fokker FG-2 article. However, less than 24 hours after your comment, another user removed the article with "rm per concerns" as his edit summary. Under ordinary circumstances, I would revert the removal myself, but since it's my nomination, I believe I should not unilaterally revert it, so could you revert the removal since it appears to be a result of a user grossly misconstruing your remarks? Thanks! OCNative (talk) 05:12, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Horny House of Horror DYK
Whoops! Thanks for reminding me. I've attempted to review Oz: The Great and Powerful. I've been on vacation for the past week and the wiki hasn't been that much on my mind. I'll do my best to finish this DYK review. Andrzejbanas (talk) 01:21, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hello again, I've finished my review of the Oz film. Just giving you the heads up. Thank you for being patient. Cheers! Andrzejbanas (talk) 05:58, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
Prime minister list
One possibility is Template:Infobox former political post as in List of heads of state of the Soviet Union. If you use it, I'd recommend adding an image, perhaps of one of the prime ministers. (See the template documentation for a complete list of the possible parameters for the infobox.) Another image possibility would be a photo of the government building where the prime ministers worked. See List of members of Stortinget 2005–2009 for an example. I came up with these ideas just by looking at similar FL lists. There may be other solutions, too. Hope this helps. Finetooth (talk) 16:30, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
Permintaan Terjemahan
Salam kenal!
- Thanks, both to you and your source. Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:12, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

From where you sit - what does parent child category combinationm look like to you? there are pages on wp that say it should not happen - but some xxxxx have made a real mess of administrative divisions in indonesia where parent and child cats sit together as if it was natural - it makes for some very mess cat tree chaos - I would be very curious of your perspective on it - maybe to the project noticeboard - but its hard to see anyone left ... sigh 13:13, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
