Improving Indonesian cuisine articles

[edit]

Hi Fazry, I think you just doing alright, just like what you have done in asinan article. Yes, browsing, googling and seek Jakarta Post articles is a good start to find references related to Indonesian dishes/food/cuisine. I did that too. I think other news sites such as CNN, BBC, Kompas, or Tribun might help as references. The problem on improving Indonesian cuisine articles is indeed finding good quality references, most of them are blogs and written in Indonesian. So finding reliable sources and references is quite a task. Good luck, and thank you for your interest and contribution on improving Indonesian cuisine-related articles, cheers... Gunkarta  talk  16:53, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bellaetrix Manuputty, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sun Yu. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Tagging college football articles

[edit]

MRFazry, college football articles, such as 1939 Humboldt State Lumberjacks football team, are within the scope of WikiProject College football, not WikiProject American football. Thanks, Jweiss11 (talk) 15:21, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page WikiProjects, when classification is blank (class=)

[edit]

When adding WikiProjects to Talk pages please include the Class=stub or Class=start. Otherwise when Class is left blank, the article is tagged by Bots as "Unassessed". And for some WP there are thousands of articles. Thanks for helping.

AllianceBernstein

[edit]

Hello, good call on the fuller AB name, but I did remove the "L. P." from the article title name and relocated it to the opening sentence — I've been caught out on that myself. (See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (companies)). I was confused, as well, by your explanation, that "there is another entity named AllianceBernstein L.P." because they list headquarters at the same address. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/825313/000082531316000046/ab-20151231x10k.htm https://www.nasdaq.com/quotes/institutional-portfolio/alliancebernstein-lp-74662

Not the title, I meant Infobox. Lindenfall (talk) 21:55, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Lindenfall. Infobox company name parameter should (or must) be legal name, please read this. And the legal name of NYSE: AB is AllianceBernstein Holding L.P. from some SEC filing I read. It mentions literally two entities: without holding and with holding and the public entity (not company technically) is the one with holding, AllianceBernstein Holding L.P. and sorry if my edit summary confuses you. MRFazry (talk) 22:06, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And naming conventions for companies. I think I don't violate any. The conventions is about title (which is not always legal name) and first sentence (which should be legal name). For the infobox, I refer to the template explanation. MRFazry (talk) 22:09, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Even if two companies shared the address, legally they are two distinct entities. Like a family, even if they live in one home, the father and mother and child are three different persons. MRFazry (talk) 22:13, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again,MRFazry. As mentioned, good call on the fuller AB name... no explanation needed. Odd regarding LP in the article title, though, since I'd had another, more senior, editor, UnitedStatesian, come along a couple of months ago and make a similar edit on a company that I'd renamed, citing WP:NC, else it never would have occurred to me to do similarly. (https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Talk:SIG_Combibloc_Group&diff=860930473&oldid=852547502)Lindenfall (talk) 01:57, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again and again, Lindenfall. For the edit by UnitedStatesian, of course it refered to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (companies) because it was an edit to the title of the article, regardless who was wrong or right, I don't know. It can be different case by case, the variables are popularity, trade name, or anything. So I rarely involve myself on the article name and only edit the name parameter of the infobox. For my edit on AB, that was an edit for the infobox, it should be legal name of the company. I've never renamed the AB article. You can check it on the article history. I only edited the infobox. MRFazry (talk) 02:14, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You should know the difference between the title of the article and the heading of the infobox. MRFazry (talk) 02:17, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed → "Not the title, I meant Infobox. Lindenfall (talk) 21:55, 29 November 2018." Lindenfall (talk) 23:02, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
But why you gave the example about the title? UnitedStatesian reverted your edit on title, not infobox... MRFazry (talk) 23:12, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
To show the wider view of placements of "LP". Lindenfall (talk) 16:49, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari

[edit]

I invite you to please join the discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari.

Hello, we are seeking help with the Sarah Azhari article, created in 2013 & recently the subject of a deletion proposal. At issue was whether or not the Indonesian language sources establish notability. I am inviting you to the discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari#Help with Indonesian language sources because you are in the Category:User id-N & have a minimum of 1,000 edits across all Wikimedia projects.

I realize that some of you are very busy while others may no longer be editing. Nevertheless, I thought it wise to consult with you.

Thank your for the work that you do on Wiki[mp]edia! Peaceray (talk) 21:06, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Probolinggo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bumiputera. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
