Question from WhiteFox53 (08:44, 10 November 2023)

Hi, if I am editing an old article that describes something in the present tense, should I update it to past tense, ie, (is/are to was/were)? I have an article that describes a company that was aquired by another one years ago, but still refers to the company in the present. --WhiteFox53 (talk) 08:44, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

WhiteFox53 Good day. If things happened in the past, use past tense. Be safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 21:27, 11 November 2023 (UTC)

Question from Do N key deliveries (15:48, 21 November 2023)

Subject: Clarification on Article Submission

Dear Cassiopeia,

I hope this message finds you well. I've recently submitted an article for publication on Wikipedia, and I am currently experiencing some confusion regarding the review process. The system indicates that there are 18 pending submissions awaiting review, and my article is among them.

However, when attempting to move my article to the draft space after completing the required field, I encountered a message stating that, due to my account being new or possibly blocked, I am unable to publish. Could you kindly clarify what this means? Does it imply that once my account gains familiarity, I'll be able to edit and submit without verification?

I'm seeking your guidance to understand whether my content is currently under review or if my submission request has not yet been considered. Your insights into this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards, Kesav Vipradoss (Founder at 'do N key Deliveries') --do N key Deliveries 15:48, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

Question from Carynstumpfl (02:24, 27 November 2023)

Where can I find a Wikipedia template to begin writing a new article? --Carynstumpfl (talk) 02:24, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

Carynstumpfl Good day. Only subject that pass Wikpedia notablity guidelines could have an article/page in Wikipedia which means subject needs to have singificant coverage by independent, reliable sources such as from newspapers and book where by the sources talk about the subject in lenght and in details and not only passing mentioned for verification. Secondly, pls read WP:Your first article to understand the requirements. Finally, diff topics have different templates and some topics have not templates. In a nut shell, an intro (lead section) is needed, then body texts. Be safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 02:37, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
