DYK for Garageland (song)

[edit]

Thank you from me and the wiki Victuallers (talk) 00:02, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

 Done Thanks mate :-) benzband (talk) 10:03, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations Benzband, and...

The Guitarist Barnstar
Thank you! Thanks to your efforts we have now got a second "official" DYK's entry for its section on the Main Page! If I remember correctly, the last was for "English Civil War" on 7 December 2005... and it was a long time ago! Once again, THANK YOU! –pjoef (talkcontribs) 09:51, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When you have time, we can work together to expand its lead section (per MOS:LEAD) so we can include it within Portal:The Clash/Selected articles section, reach (at least) the B (or better) A-Class (the article has been mostly reviewed by the DYK process), and make "Garageland" eligible for both the Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team [sets of Wikipedia articles for offline release (CD, DVD, printing...)], and hopefully for Wikipedia:Featured articles.
Wishing you and yours a very happy holiday season and a wonderful new year. –pjoef (talkcontribs) 09:51, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Pjoef :-) benzband (talk) 10:03, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh /o\... it was NOT necessary (to award me the barnstar)... but greatly appreciated!!! Thank you for your kind words about me. That is my intention, to expand the English Wikipedia in the "kindest" possible way. All the best! –pjoef (talkcontribs) 10:41, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

May I have advice, Quasar Barnstar?

[edit]

Oh, for a bit of help. 1. Can I add ribbons for barnstars received to my own talk pp. and how do I do it? 2. How do we get a ribbon for the Quasar[1]? It should be a blue ribbon with thin silver edges and the Quasar-type design in the centre, like a rosette. I seek your help because the Quasar doesn't seem widely available and I have no idea how to introduce a ribbon idea for a star "in limbo" like mine. Djathinkimacowboy 23:51, 25 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I forgot to ask, please come over to my talk if you wish to respond. Cheers. Djathinkimacowboy 23:51, 25 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In what way did you coin this word? Simply south...... dropping heavy trees for 5 years 13:06, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't coin anything. It's a real quote (here on wikiquote) benzband (talk) 13:30, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
According to MOTD, you did. ;p Simply south...... dropping heavy trees for 5 years 17:41, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry if i made it appear confusing (seemed clear to me but obviously wasn't)... however i have added a little note to the nomination stating that it was this guy who said it and not me (though i did think you'd see when hovering over the arrow :D) ~ benzband (talk) 01:14, 29 December 2011 (UTC) ....trying to catch all those trees Simply south keeps dropping on me :)[reply]

For meritorious and tireless work in the design of the Quasar star's ribbon, patience, tireless good cheer and, well, just because I love the rainbow in this award! Enjoy in great health! Djathinkimacowboy(yell) 10:39, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

what's wrong with a infobox in a section ?!

[edit]

There is nothing wrong with including a infobox in a article section , see History of Libya under Muammar Gaddafi for example that article includes a section infobox about coup of 1969 Arab editor 9212 (talk) 16:49, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
