Wanted to give you a heads up. This list has lots of small analog stations (only CH2518 Logan Lake looks like it has a DT conversion pending), outdated info, and 16 listed transmitters that no longer show in REC. I did update the list in the CHAN-DT article. Raymie (t • c) 01:54, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- I spotted List of historical TFO transmitters and List of historical TVOntario transmitters while looking into the CHAN page. Are those worth an AfD as well? Raymie (t • c) 04:21, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
NPOL and GNG
Now that consensus is once again against you will you accept that you have misinterpreted WP:NPOL repeatedly in the discussions over Ammar Campa-Najjar? Do you intend to challenge the closer "The result was keep. Even if a politician fails NPOL, they can still have an article by virtue of the GNG, as per the consensus here.” because it appears to be a direct repudiation of your interpretation of Wikipedia’s notability guidelines. If your opinions are as you say "completely correct statements about how NPOL actually works” then its odd that time and time again consensus is against your "completely correct statements,” no? I used this tool to find you. If you have the chance, could you take a look at Clay Jenkins and its talk page? There is a WP:BLP dispute going on there and I don't want it to keep going back and forth. If you're busy, could you let me know so I can find someone else? Thanks. List of comedy television series with LGBT characters
Hello, Bearcat. As someone who has contributed to the LGBT characters in television series lists, I think you should be aware of this situation. I've been editing Wikipedia for 11 years, but this is the first time I've dealt with anything like it. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 18:51, 31 March 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia Editing Brush Up Course
Hello Bearcat.
I am writing to find out if there is a Wikipedia editing brush up course that I can take. Sofiabrampton2 (talk) 18:57, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
If there is not a Wikipedia brush up course, how can I get help with adding references to an existing page? I haven't done it for awhile and am nervous. Thanks. Sofiabrampton2 (talk) 17:27, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

Cunningham Drug (Canada)
Hey there, thought I'd draw your attention to the Cunningham Drug (Canada) article by pointing out a logo for that chain [1] recently added at the Logopedia site, depicting the logo (along with its source [2]) as it looked from about the mid-1960s until Shoppers Drug Mart bought and absorbed it in 1971. I can't add the file to the article myself since I'm not registered, but if you'd be able to, that'd be great. 2001:569:BD1A:CD00:5C88:B324:C202:CB90 (talk) 14:01, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
IMDb as an only source
I am amazed at how many articles, both biographies and articles on films, have IMDb as the only source. I have nominated several for proposed deletion but keep having the proposed deletion be removed and was even threatened with being taken to ANI for nominated articles that have as their one and only source IMDb. In some cases these are not so much articles as one sentence plus a long and involved filmmography. The whole situation is incredibly frustrating. It convinces me we should require all new articles to go through the article for creation process, but I do not know how to fix the problem we already have.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:19, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

Your draft article, User:Getrichmusicinc/sandbox
Hello, Bearcat. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "sandbox".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 01:32, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
- I didn't start this AFC submission at all; the only thing I ever did to it was move a misplaced draft that had been submitted by somebody else from its original title to a more appropriate one. So I'm incredibly unclear on why I'm getting this notification at all, because I didn't "create" the proposed title. Bearcat (talk) 04:51, 16 April 2020 (UTC)

Hey Bearcat. While commenting on Template:Did you know nominations/Horizon (store), I took a quick look at Eaton's as it was linked from the DYK hook subject. I noticed that it was indefinitely semi-protected in 2014 (incidentally its first protection), and looking at the history it was due to IPs making some unconstructive edits dating back to around 2012 or so. Given that it's been almost six years since the article was protected and from what I can tell the IP has since stopped, would it be a good idea to lift the protection or downgrade it to PC now, or is it better to leave the protection in place? Thanks and happy editing. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:42, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
Hey there bearcat! I hope you are well. Just reading over your comments on the page as to why it was declined. I was hoping you could tell me how a page like this Philip D'souza with very little referencing gets accepted but a page like I've created cannot seem to make it through. Overuse of IMDb
I have come to realize that IMDb is over used to create links. In the recent Lillian Knight discussion it was shown that IMDb had conflated two actresses. Despite this, I have been denounced for even having put that article to deletion, although without the deletion nomination no inprovement would occur. I am quite disturbed also at the defense of long often even lacking role names cast lists that in some cases have lead to false postives. This is why I was removing red links from cast lists, and yet I have been attacked for doing that. The fact that some of these articles have languished with IMDb as the only source for 14 years is more discouraging. Maybe writing this message will get me in trouble and labeled as "canvassing". I will see.John Pack Lambert (talk) 20:25, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
