2020 coronavirus pandemic in Montreal

Hi Bearcat, there is an article titled 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Montreal. In the article there is a lot of punctuation marks like periods next to a citation source on the left. All periods must move to end the sentencing before they put citation sources for an example until further notice.<ref>{{cite web}}</ref> not until further notice<ref>{{cite web}}</ref>. So could you go to the article titled 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Montreal and move all of the periods from after the citation and put all periods next to the complete sentencing before putting citation source. I have edit some of the periods to move next to the complete sentencing but I cannot finish all of them, so could you go to the article titled 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Montreal and check all of the wording that has until further notice<ref>{{cite web}}</ref>. and move all periods to complete sentencing like this one until further notice.<ref>{{cite web}}</ref> I hope you check all periods to be moved before the citation. I will be happy to assist you. Thanks for your time. Steam5 (talk) 02:38, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

Regarding Edits/AfDs Originating from India

Hello, Bearcat. I totally agree with your views at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Mayukh_Biswas. We need to keep an extra eye on all kind of articles (originating from India) which are being pushed into Wikipedia. Similar to this context, I'm facing irrelevant argument (unsubtle agrression) at one of the AfD, which is nominated by me couple of days back. Could you please check this Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Care_Hospitals from your end? And, guide the discussion by being unbiased. - Hatchens (talk) 03:48, 30 April 2020 (UTC)

Ecole Polytechnique

Hello This is what you have reinserted "The incident was the deadliest mass shooting in Canadian history until the 2020 Nova Scotia attacks". It is not clear that the Nova Scotia attack has become the deadliest mass shooting because a considerable number apparently died in the fires, not by shooting. You will notice that the Nova Scotia WP article calls it the "deadliest rampage". In any case, the information about the Nova Scotia attack was included as a note. --Slp1 (talk) 16:11, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing those categories on the Peepoodo & the Super Fuck Friends page

@Bearcat, I only added those categories because I was basing it off some other pages. I would however, say that it should be added to at least one of the categories for LGBTQ content, due to the fact there are LGBTQ characters in the show.--Historyday01 (talk) 15:50, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

Apologies - NPP

I'm so sorry - lapse of memory. You and Barkeep49 (which is who I was thinking of) are both clearly filed in the same memory cell of "friendly admins", whence the confusion. Ingratis (talk) 16:29, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

Hey Bearcat, I've run into a brick wall recently in the form of a bunch of non-film editors who are working on a film. I put in an bog standard infobox for a film, was reverted, and spent a whole day off and on arguing with people who basically hate the fact it's a conspiracy film as a reason not to include an infobox. They offered every argument under the sun and I countered all of them. No one has answered me since the end of the day but I can't tell if that means I should go ahead and put an infobox in now. Or if I even want to. I've seen pig headed editors before but never so many. I had one person on my side. the main arguer (Guy) is an admin. I said I'd do an RfC but don't know if that's really necessary. I looked at Documentary Film Task Force and WP:Film and Village Pump but I'm not sure there's anywhere appropriate to ask for help. Please have a look at the talk page under "Just a YouTube video". The horror... the horror. Damn discussion triggered my anxiety by the end of the day. Any advice appreciated. Help with AfC submission about a rock fusion guitarist!

Hello Bearcat, hope you are well. I submitted a draft about Yiannis Papadopoulos (a Greek rock fusion guitarist) more than a month ago https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Yiannis_Papadopoulos_(guitarist) and I've been working on it since then. Is it possible to have a look please? I saw your name on a similar article https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Nick_Johnston_(guitarist) and thought that you might be able to help since you have experience with a similar article. Sorry if I bothered you, I appreciate your time and help. Have a nice day. Rhythm Zero (talk) 20:16, 13 May 2020 (UTC)

Please be more careful...

I know I have raised this issue with you on previous occasion(s) when you brought articles I started to AFD, but didn't tell me, as you did here.

May I remind you that decision making on the wikipedia is supposed to be consensus based? It is supposed to be consensus based, in general, and AFD is specifically supposed to be consensus based.

When an AFD nominator does not inform the individual who started an article, that they are nominating it for deletion, the discussion that subsequently takes place can not be a genuine consensus, as the person most likely to disagree was specifically discluded from the discussion.

Would my participation have made a difference? I'll never know. I do know, from the sole entry about the article on my user talk page, that it had been the target of vandalism from a crazy wikistalker.

I'm {{ping}}ing Premeditated_Chaos, the administrator who closed the discussion. Geo Swan (talk) 20:50, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

I have no idea what (if any) the history is here. Since I was pinged, I'll say this: it is not a requirement to notify anyone of any AfD. The instructions at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#After nominating: Notify interested projects and editors state that notification of substantial contributors is not required (it does say that is a courtesy). There has never been a precedent that lack of notification and/or lack of participation by substantial contributors invalidates the consensus reached at an AfD. As always, I encourage editors to take my closes to DRV for review if they are not satisfied. ♠PMC(talk) 23:25, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

Hello, good day

I have made an article with title Sidney Toy, & it seems that he's been exist. Can you justify why you removed my articles without any clear explanation?

CHBX/CICI

I've reverted back to the previous version; the editor you ran into has a habit of making up policies out of whole cloth in order to find 'busywork' to needlessly up their edit numbers, and it's been a thorn in my side (and the TV project) for years. The style previously established has been fine...and you might notice above your post bringing it up they already had another issue regarding linking out the province involving province-wide CTV/CBC stations. J. J. McCullough page deletion

Hi, I'm the author of most of the content on the J. J. McCullough page. Apologies for the difficulties this wikipage raises. This is my first time creating a biography page of anyone, let alone a live person, and it is my third wikipage in total so I am not accustomed to these Wikipedia guidelines. I have tried to add a few more third person accounts (there are a handful now), though most of the information on the Wikipage is still not based on these sources, so I while it would be regretful, I would understand if the page is to be deleted. On the side, I would like to ask, if a page is deleted, what exactly will be left of it? Will the fact that it has been deleted still be floating around somewhere in some annal? Or will this nomination and the deletion of the page be archived? Just for curiosity. In addition, the deletion project page is named : "Articles for deletion/J. J. McCullough (2nd nomination) (section)". What does "2nd nomination" mean? Anyways, thank you for the input, and I'll keep this in mind if I ever try to create another biopage of someone else. Articles for Creation: List of reviewers by subject notice

Hi Bearcat, you are receiving this notice because you are listed as an active Articles for Creation reviewer.

Recently a list of reviewers by area of expertise was created. This notice is being sent out to alert you to the existence of that list, and to encourage you to add your name to it. If you or other reviewers come across articles in the queue where an acceptance/decline hinges on specialist knowledge, this list should serve to facilitate contact with a fellow reviewer.

To end on a positive note, the backlog has dropped below 1,500, so thanks for all of the hard work some of you have been putting into the AfC process!

Sent to all Articles for Creation reviewers as a one-time notice. To opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page. Regards, Sam-2727 (talk)

Sockpuppet combinations on DEW III articles

Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Willywill3x and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Happycats58 are probably the same sockmaster: see Commons:File:David Williams 3.jpg and of course the keeps at the current Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Williams III compared to 2016's Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Earl Williams III. (I knew I recognized that III from somewhere before.) How do we identify one as being related to the other? If you don't know, I can try pinging some of the investigation closers and see if there's a standard for that. --Closeapple (talk) 18:43, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi Bearcat: have you heard of the above protest? I cannot seem to find a WP article on it. Every time I add a source to it I have quite a laugh. It sounds entirely made-up. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 04:27, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
