Thanks for your work on this article. Sorry for the edit conflict! That 'work in progress' header template is perfect. I also invited WikiProject NRHP members to visit the article. I am sure we will add the 'Former NRHP sites' category after the stadium is officially delisted. What a shame, considering the efforts to save the building. ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:56, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- No worries, I was feeling a little "back off this is my stadium". It's kinda hard to watch something so many people care about burn down. It sometimes takes the NRHP awhile to cotton to a building's destruction, but this went up so spectacularly and publicly that I'm sure they will know about it. Meanwhile, there's a ton of good info in the NRHP nom that could be added. The article was really out of date before. The non-profit that bought it can hopefully do something great on the site anyway. Valfontis (talk) 14:02, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- Don't worry, I was happy to 'back off' and let you make improvements to the article. Also, thanks for adding the picture, which greatly improves the article. I, too, hope something great can be built on the site. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:10, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
- I'm asking a friend if she will donate a pic of the full conflagration, which I missed. As far as your soccer question, I believe at some point the local youth soccer group was using the stadium. And for the naming conventions, I think the full city name is appropriate, but I'm too lazy to look it up. On Civic Stadium, the Buffalo one is just Buffalo also. Or alternately, move it to the NRHP name? Gotta run, hopefully I can work more on this later. Valfontis (talk) 14:34, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

Civic Stadium photo
As a former Eugene resident and Ems employee, I was sad to hear about the loss of Civic. I wrote about the fire, my two summers at Civic, and more stadium stuff on my blog, cpbsketchbook.com. If I'm not mistaken, I'm allowed to use your photo if I credit you, which I did. Let me know if I need to take the photo down. I'd compliment your photo skills, but the flames in the image are literally on the spot where I used to sling pizza and beer, so I'll just whistle past the graveyard and show myself out.
Peace and thanks,
Chris Blair, Gorham, NH
