Question from King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (07:55, 5 December 2022)

Questions re: good faith changes

Hello Oshwah! I see that you have been making some changes to the OfferUp Wiki page (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/OfferUp) and I love what your bio presents. (Thank goodness I found you!) I have some questions about how we can get OfferUp's page updated as there is some really out of date information listed. Might you be able to help me with that? These are good faith edits and I can supply you all the information/citations needed to bring it to the present tense. I just don't know how to do this so I could really rely upon your awesome help to guide me! Thank you! Mollyrobben (talk) 20:36, 5 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Mollyrobben! Welcome to Wikipedia! First and foremost, I do have to express my concerns that you might have a personal conflict of interest with this article subject (OfferUp). When I see users coming to me (as well as others) asking for their help to edit an article about a company, and when they use the first-person pronoun "we" to describe themselves, it raises a red flag with me. This usually happens when someone from within the company or who has a very close interest with the company attempts to try and make edits. Please know that if you're being paid or compensated in any way, shape, or form to be on Wikipedia, you are required to disclose this by following the instructions here.
On the other hand, it's perfectly fine to improve anything on Wikipedia - editors here, regardless of whether they're new or experienced, are encouraged to be bold. If it needs to be improved, by all means - have at it! Don't be worried about red tape or any of the little things! Just make sure that if you add or update something that would logically call for a source to be cited to support your changes, or if what your adding or editing is likely going to be challenged by another editor, that you do so. Make sure to read and understand Wikipedia's policies and guidelines on how to cite references, and what constitutes reliable sources that are secondary and independent of the article subject. You need to cite secondary independent reliable sources to support your changes where necessary.
Please let me know if you have any questions, or if I can assist you in any way with understanding any of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I'll be more than happy to help you; just reach out to me and ask! :-) Thanks again for the message, and again - welcome to Wikipedia! I hope that you pull up a chair, get comfortable, and stay with us for awhile! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 09:33, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Thank you, Oshwah! Super helpful. I'll revert back with any questions I have going forward. Mollyrobben (talk) 15:51, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

Request revdel

Hello! On this vandalism edit the IP 144.121.246.250 threatened me with death. Please revdel on the edit and block the user, thank you! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 19:00, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi SunDawn! This has been done. In the future, you want to send me an email with any requests for revision deletion - and especially with any requests for oversight. Otherwise, if you add such requests to this page here (where it's very much public and actively watched by over 1000 Wikipedians), you'll inadvertently end up drawing lots of attention to the edit due to the Streisand effect, as users will rush to view and archive a copy of the revision externally before it becomes hidden from them to see. :-) Anyways, you're all set! Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:27, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Thank you! I will send you an email next time. Have a good day! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 02:58, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
SunDawn - You as well! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 04:40, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

hey,do you know where to report someone for harrasment?

someone has been harrasing sundawn, and i would like to know if there is a specific place i report it or just report it to any admin. the person harrasing sundawn is 144.121.246.250 ItsMeKeys (talk) 19:14, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

they were also reported to aiv ItsMeKeys (talk) 19:15, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
(tps) Yup AIV is usually the best place, although admins can be generally found all over the place, and for some things no warning is needed. If you think it's appropriate, you can also use WP:EMERGENCY. I have chosen not to here, but I can't stop anyone else doing so. It seems this vandal has been on this IP for a while, so I've supplied them with a long block. -- zzuuzz (talk) 19:21, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
thank you so much,i really appreciate you helping me. cheers!~ ItsMeKeys (talk) 19:23, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Zzuuzz - Thank you for assisting ItsMeKeys while I was away from my desk. I'm at the office for a few more hours, then I'll be more active and able to respond to questions and requests for help here. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:34, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

You're too fast for me

Hey Oshwah, long time i was not here, hope you and yours are all doing well. Thanks very much for blocking that IP, i was typing a report at ANI but you were faster. Take care over there.---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 19:49, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Wikaviani! It's good to see you again, and I also hope that you're doing well. Work has been picking up due to the holiday season, but other than that - life is good. :-) Thanks! I keep an active abuse log feed that I wrote, and it refreshes with a list of the last 15 users who tripped one of my (or any similar) edit filters that look for vandalism and LTA activity. That IP was lighting it up like crazy, so I took a look at their contributions and gave them a 72 hour seat in the naughty stool. ;-) If you need anything, or if there's something I can be of assistance to you with, don't be a stranger! You know where to find me! :-) Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:22, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Good to hear that you're doing well. I see, your tools help you to deal with vandalism and the way you use them sounds great. Thanks very much for your help and the kind words, as usual. Cheers.---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 20:46, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Clean start

Hi there, I am leaving this message on your talk page as I have noticed you are a CheckUser. I would like to resume editing Wikipedia again, but I would like to start afresh on a new account. I have thoroughly read Wikipedia:Clean start and to the best of my knowledge I am not under any sanctions or investigations by the Arbitration Committee. I am not switching accounts for any bad faith reasons or to evade scrutiny.

However, I am aware that sock puppetry is investigated often by CheckUsers, and so as suggested by Wikipedia:Clean start I would like to notify you (a check user) that I will be switching to a new account as I would like to make it clear that I am not attempting to be a sockpuppet.

If you have any questions I am happy to answer, have a great day :) Arxion (talk) 18:19, 8 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Arxion! Correct; so long as you don't have any active sanctions or editing restrictions applied to you, you're of course entitled to perform a clean start at any time. Here are some things that I highly recommend that you do when you've decided to go through with the process.
  • Using your current account, blank your user page and replace it with a template that you have performed a clean start and hence are no longer using this account anymore. Also add the same template to your user talk page (leave the rest alone - don't remove or blank the page).
  • After you've abandoned your current account and created a new account, email the Arbitration Committee at arbcom-en@wikimedia.org in order to privately disclose your old and new account usernames, and inform them that you've performed a clean start.
Checkusers should, as part of any routine investigation, be able to see on your user page that you've performed a clean start, and they should take this into consideration should you happen to come up in any IP address or range checks performed in order to investigate another user. Adding that template to your user and user talk pages (in addition to privately disclosing your old and new accounts to the Arbitration Committee) will make this easier for other users to see, and it makes your intentions unambiguous. Fortunately for you, it appears that your account is only six months old and doesn't even have enough edits to be extended confirmed. You should be able to recover from the loss of tenure and edits in no time at all. ;-) Good luck to you, and I hope to talk to you again when you're using your new account (of course I won't know that it's you, but you know what I mean...) Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:27, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
Thank you very much for taking the time to reply and giving me advice, it is very helpful and I appreciate it a lot! Have a great day and I look forward to continue editing Wikipedia :-) Arxion (talk) 17:16, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
Arxion - Always happy to help! Good luck to you! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:38, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Editor

@Oshwah: Can you please block User:Koustav Chatterjee, this editor can't seem to put the userboxes that he creates in the correct userbox galleries. One time he put a dog userbox on the cat userbox gallery instead of in the dog userbox gallery. Another time he has put drink userboxes in the food userbox gallery instead of not the drink userbox gallery. And the sloth userbox he made he put in the wrong section of the mammal userbox gallery. He put dessert userboxes in the food userbox gallery instead of not putting them in the dessert userbox gallery. I have had to undo much of his work, this is annoying to me. I gave him a warning on his talk to stop and he did not. This editor has been disruptive in the past and was not blocked. I just received a message from this user on my talk page and he told me his English is very poor. People who have poor English should not be editing the English Wikipedia. Catfurball (talk) 19:27, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Catfurball - I reached out to the user and responded to the userbox discussion that you started on their user talk page. I didn't directly ask Koustav Chatterjee to stop adding userboxes to gallery pages, but if they don't take the hint, that will be my next move. I'm not inclined to block yet; they need to be told and understand that what they're doing is disruptive, and given ample opportunity to cease the behavior. If, despite those warnings, they continue to be disruptive, that's when the behavior becomes disruptive enough where a block would be justified in order for it to stop. Let me know what happens. If the user continues the behavior, please let me know. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:42, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry!!! Kindly don't block me. Due to poor knowledge of English, it was unwanted mistakes done by me. From the next time, I will be more awakened. Thank you for understanding me. Koustav Chatterjee (talk) 19:38, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Koustav Chatterjee - Don't worry, nobody is thinking about blocking you. :-) You were only talked about this one time, and it seems like you understand that what you're doing may be disruptive (I haven't looked at the edits you've made to userbox galleries). I'd just work with Catfurball and their concerns and work together. If you do that, you'll be just fine. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:52, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Crazy Hair Style vs Longboarder Hair Style ?

Olá! Oshwah. On your picture on your userpage you looks like an nice skater to try a big jump from a longboard. or you will try it and make with this crazy hair style great longboardjumppictures (in BW). and than you make big pictures for your roomwall from this and for friends and girlfriends or cafes or housewalls 8-) --- its SkateLinda (talk) 21:42, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

SkateLinda - HAHAHA! That's funny... Thank you for this. Believe it or not, this is my natural hair. I didn't do anything special outside of what typical people do to their hair (such as washing it) in order to get that style. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 22:05, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

Question from RomeoAvila (17:26, 12 December 2022)

Hi:) I want to be able to connect the wikipedia link https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:New_user_landing_page&page=Romeo+Avila

to an actual article. I submitted an article but want to make sure that the link on this page https://www.eoy.net/about-formers will connect to it once it is approved. --RomeoAvila (talk) 17:26, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi RomeoAvila, and welcome to Wikipedia! I think you're referring to the content that you added to your sandbox here? From what I'm reading, it appears that you are trying to write an article about yourself. Please keep in mind that writing an autobiography on Wikipedia is a highly discouraged activity. This is mainly due to the obvious conflict of interest that you'll have on the article subject (which is yourself). It makes it nearly impossible for you to add content that reflect a neutral point of view, which is required for all content that is added to any Wikipedia article. I would instead focus your time on creating, expanding, or improving articles that interest you in other topics, subjects, or areas. If you are indeed a notable person who meet's Wikipedia's guidelines, another editor will without a doubt write an article about you.
Since you're brand new to Wikipedia, I highly recommend that you go through Wikipedia's getting started page and that you complete Wikipedia's new user tutorial before you make any edits or take on any major tasks around here. Those tutorial pages will provide you with many important walkthroughs, guides, interactive lessons, and other information that will familiarize you with our policies and guidelines, how Wikipedia works, how to navigate around the site, and how to find important locations and pages. Most users who take this advice, read through those pages, and complete the new user tutorial usually tell me later that they were significantly helpful to them, and saved them hours of time and frustration they would've experienced otherwise. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I'll be happy to answer them and assist you. Again, I welcome you to Wikipedia, and I hope that you stick around and become a long-term contributor and member of our community! :-) Best regards - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 18:00, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

You may wish to revoke TPA.Cahk (talk) Cahk (talk) 10:01, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

Question from Ata shtaya on ChatGPT (19:11, 13 December 2022)

20word from computer --Ata shtaya (talk) 19:11, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Ata shtaya! Welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad that you decided to create an account and join us as a member of the community! :-) I'm not sure what you're trying to ask, exactly. Could you elaborate or perhaps check what you submitted to me above, and fix any issues with your question? I'll be more than happy to help you as soon as I understand what it is you need assistance with. :-) Thanks - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:26, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

Question about user rights

I noticed my user rights changed just a couple minutes ago. Presumably this is the result of my typical IP address range receiving a serious block. If so, can I expect any alterations to my user experience? Thanks in advance as I think the answer is your action exempts me from the negative effects. ~ Pbritti (talk) 03:55, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Pbritti! You are correct; I don't want an IP range block that I had to apply affect you in any way, so I temporarily granted your account IP block exemption for the duration of that range block. This way, you can continue editing as usual and, if your IP address happens to change to a value that's within the blocked range, it will have no effect on your account whatsoever! ;-) Nope, you should notice absolutely no difference at all with your user experience. Had you not been notified of the user rights changes, you wouldn't have noticed a single difference while this user right was temporarily granted... You wouldn't have ever known... ;-) Please let me know if you have any more questions, and I'll be happy to answer them. Happy editing! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 04:00, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
lol I love it. Thanks for the exemption. I'll wield my newfound immunity malevolently responsibly. I mean responsibly. ~ Pbritti (talk) 04:04, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
Pbritti - HA! Wield it well, wield it proud, wield it whatever way you want! Just make sure that you have fun while you do it. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 04:07, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

Disputes about dividing an article

Goodday. I have dropped complaints here and here to reach out for a consensus regarding my revision to windows 10 version 21H1 but in vain, no user was seemed to be interested in addressing my case. What is the next step would you certainly suggest to do? Give up? And BTW, I am aware that my IP address changed (as you can see in my signature)-->197.238.105.100 (talk) 00:11, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi there! It looks like the root of the problem is that the article is currently protected, and you're unable to modify it because of this. To have someone make the appropriate changes for you, you can make an edit request on the article's talk page. Assuming that there are no issues with the request, someone will be happy to do that for you.
And, not to state the obvious, but if you want a permanent solution to this issue regarding your ability to edit protected pages, you should create an account. Once four days have elapsed since the time of its creation, and after you've made 10 edits to Wikipedia using your account (regardless of whether or not the edits are reverted or the page eventually deleted), your account will become autoconfirmed, which will allow you to edit the vast majority of protected pages. Administrators usually apply semi-protection to articles in order to stop sudden influxes of vandalism and abuse by anonymous users. Autoconfirmed accounts are allowed to edit semi-protected pages. Please let me know if you have any more questions, and I'll be happy to answer them and help you. Good luck, and I hope that you take my advice and create an account! We'd love to have you as a member of the community! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 02:18, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Is there an easy way to search talk page history? If an edit is reverted, it doesn't appear in the archive pages, right? 107.19.32.31 (talk) 03:18, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
If the edit to the particular talk page is reverted before the discussion is archived, then no - that revision will not be archived. Archiving is typically performed by either a user or a bot, and is done by moving the old discussion as it currently is and in its form from the talk page and into a separate page (usually a sub-page of that talk page) where it is stored for record-keeping. I archive my user talk page manually (I don't use bots or anything to do it automatically), and I literally cut and paste the old discussions over to the archive page that I create.
There isn't a built-in searching method on Wikipedia that will search through all revisions of a page to find what you're looking for. However, there is a third-party tool (named "Wikiblame") that will. You can go here in order to use it. If you have any questions or need help with how to use this tool, let me know and I'll be happy to lend you a hand. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:13, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

Question from KenjiBlogger (20:37, 16 December 2022)

Hello my mentor, I'm glad to meet you. If it's not a problem, could you just explain how to change any text? Because on some page when I press the text editor, it takes me to something else and I can't change the text directly. --KenjiBlogger (talk) 20:37, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Hi KenjiBlogger! It sounds like those pages are protected-- meaning that certain groups of editors can't modify the page directly. This is done to prevent abuse, not to discourage constructive edits. When you come across a protected page and can't edit it, you can add an edit request on the corresponding talk page and someone will make the edit on your behalf. Hopefully this answers your question HelenDegenerate◆ 17:56, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
Hi KenjiBlogger, and welcome to Wikipedia! I apologize for the delay responding to your question. I've been extremely busy with work, then of course the holidays hit (which also really kept me from Wikipedia), and now I'm also busy trying to study for a certification test that I need to pass. :-) As HelenDegenerate said above, the typical reason that you'll be unable to edit some pages on Wikipedia is due to the fact that they're protected from editing. The users that can edit protected pages and the users who can't will depend on the protection level that the particular page is set to. The vast majority of protected pages that you'll run into are semi-protected, meaning that only accounts that are confirmed can make changes. Not to worry, though! Once your account is at least 4 days old from the date and time of its creation, and once your account has made at least 10 edits (including deleted ones), it will become automatically confirmed (or autoconfirmed, for short). Once this happens, you'll be able to edit semi-protected pages just as you would any other page that isn't protected at all. You'll notice the number of pages that you can't edit will significantly drop - I'd say at least 90% compared to right now, since semi-protection is by far the most widely used protection level for stopping abuse. Please let me know if you have any more questions, and I'll be happy to answer them and help you. Again, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad that you decided to join us! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:06, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Oh dear...

I now realise that an email I sent you was totally unnecessary. Please ignore it. JBW (talk) 22:56, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi JBW! Sorry for the delay responding to you... No worries, it happens all the time! I hope that the holidays treated you well, and that you have a great rest of your day. :-D Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:14, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Question from Charuta Joshi (20:29, 19 December 2022)

Hello, Ive been asked to edit the article on epilepsy by ILAE. PLs let me know how I access this article and edit it in visual editor? --Charuta Joshi (talk) 20:29, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

@Charuta Joshi (Oshwah seems to be have taken a few days break). Welcome to Wikipedia! Basically, nothing stops you technically from editing the article. Start with WP:TUTORIAL. Learn how to cite references correctly, this is ESSENTIAL. If you add new text without properly cited sources (see WP:RS and WP:MEDRS) your edits will be reverted, sooner or later. If that happens, WP:COMMUNICATE. As a new editor, you may make all kinds of mistakes (in the WP-context), but that is allowed as long as you listen when other editors tell you about it. Note that the Epilepsy article is considered one of WP:s better efforts (you are still welcome to try to improve it), a so called WP:GA. Hope this helps. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 21:21, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
WP:EXPERT may be of help to you as well. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 21:27, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
And yet another thing, if you intend to add stuff about ILAE to the article, read WP:COI very carefully. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 21:56, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
Hi Charuta Joshi! Welcome to Wikipedia! I apologize for the delay responding to your question here. I've been extremely busy with work, then of course the holidays hit (which also really kept me from Wikipedia), and now I'm also busy trying to study for a certification test that I need to pass. Such fun times... :-)
I definitely recommend that you follow the in-depth advice that Gråbergs Gråa Sång left for you above while I was away from Wikipedia. Using the new user tutorial, reading and understanding Wikipedia's policies on reliable sources and how to cite sources within articles, and understanding and following Wikipedia's dispute resolution protocol if you run into issues with another editor are extremely important in regards to becoming proficient with editing articles and how Wikipedia works. I would also follow the other links that Gråbergs Gråa Sång provided as well, as they provide you with additional information on important policies and guidelines as well as very useful tools that will help you. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you run into any questions or need additional assistance. I'll be more than happy to lend you a hand. ;-) Thanks again for the message, I hope that you stick around with us for awhile, and that you become a long-term contributor to this project. We need people like you! :-) Best - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:21, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Re: Company Logo Update

Hi Oshwah -- requesting your guidance on changing an outdated company logo in the Infobox that is trademarked? If you could point me in the right direction I'd be happy happy. Thank you! Mollyrobben (talk) 23:04, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

@Mollyrobben, to upload a new logo, go here: Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard, chose
  • Upload a non-free file
  • This is a copyrighted, non-free work, but I believe it is Fair Use.
  • This is a logo of an organization, company, brand, etc.
Once you have managed to upload the new logo, you should be able to change it yourself by editing the article, unless the article is protected. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:26, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
Thank you! Happy New Year! Mollyrobben (talk) 00:08, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

test

Hi Iggy the Swan! LOL, your test edit seems to have worked - congratulations! The only thing I noticed is that one of your line break HTML tags didn't self-terminate. :-P Thank you for the holiday wishes and for thinking of me while you were leaving these for other editors. :-) I hope the holidays treated you well, and I hope you have a great rest of your day! Keep in touch, and don't be a stranger if you need my assistance with anything! Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:31, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
Oh dear, I must have extended the copy and paste a bit too far. I have rechecked my contributions on other talk pages and removed 'test' but yours still remained on there. I started here but removed that and subsquential edits containing that word but not here apparently. Glad you are returning nonetheless. Happy editing, Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 18:27, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
Iggy the Swan - HA! No worries; it happens. ;-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 22:55, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Happy holidays!

Hi, Oshwah! I just wanted to drop in and thank you for being such a tireless contributor. On behalf of every Wikipedian, thank you. Happy holidays! Professor Penguino (talk) 01:34, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Professor Penguino! Thank you for the message and for the very kind words. I appreciate it very much, and it means a lot to me. :-) I apologize for the delay responding to you here. I've been extremely busy with work, then of course the holidays hit (which also really kept me from Wikipedia), and now I'm also busy trying to study for a certification test that I need to pass. Being an adult... it's so... much... fun...... :-) Anyways, I hope the holidays treated you well, and I hope you have a great rest of your day! Keep in touch! :-D Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:51, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Challenging actions administrator ‪Q-bit array‬

Today, this person siphoned off all my edits for no reason, accusing me of bypassing a lock that was blocked indefinitely. It is not so impossible to contact this person, since he also closed his discussion page from me. Please tell me what to do if the administrator of the Russian-language Wikipedia is so rude to everyone? Zaykadin (talk) 11:42, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi Donner60! Long time no chat! I hope that the holidays treated you well, and didn't leave you stressed out like I hear that it does with many other people. :-) Thank you for the holiday wishes, and here's to an awesome 2023! Keep in touch, I hope you have a great rest of your day, and I wish you happy editing! :-) Best - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:54, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
Hi Oshwah
2022 was a year of health/injury problems for me, including relatively mild COVID, so I wasn't around much. I hope to be more online this year but I do have some minor surgeries coming up and some a few lingering issues to deal with that increase fatigue. I also had problems with Huggle but after reinstalling it, changing password and trying a few edits, that may be fixed. I am planning to work on improving and even writing some articles, especially Civil War articles. Donner60 (talk) 06:15, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
Donner60 - Sorry to hear of the setbacks that you went through. No worries; take all the time you need. Wikipedia will certainly be here when after you return from your surgeries. ;-) If you continue to have issues with Huggle, let me know and I'll be happy to help you. I've run into my fair share of Huggle issues and shenanigans myself, so I'm pretty familiar with how to fix common errors and problems. Other than that, I hope you have a great day, I wish you happy editing, and please keep in touch! It's always a pleasure saying hello to you. :-) Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 06:47, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi Deauxgon! Welcome to Wikipedia! I apologize for the delay responding to you here. I've been extremely busy with work, then of course the holidays hit (which also really kept me from Wikipedia), and now I'm also busy trying to study for a certification test that I need to pass. Sigh... The obligations that come with being an adult... ;-) Were you able to review the links that FlightTime left on your user talk page for you? Those links will provide you with good tutorials, information, and will help you with getting started and becoming familiar with Wikipedia and how it works. Please let me know if I can answer any more questions or assist you with anything. I'll be more than happy to lend a hand. ;-) Again, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad that you decided to join us, and I hope that you stay with us and become a long-term experienced contributor to the project! :-) Best - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 04:05, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Hey Oshwah, just getting back to you ... over a year late I am sorry!

I will go back to check that page I edited now (about the investment/philanthropist guy Chamath someone). I don't remember what I did but in general, my edits are rare and tend to be motivated by cleaning up language and removing anything that seems overly emotional/commercial etc. Cheers John John in Brisbane (talk) 23:37, 27 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi John in Brisbane! No worries; if you run into any questions or need my assistance with anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I hope that the holidays treated you well, and I wish you happy editing. :-) Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 04:06, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
