From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wow. This is a HORRIBLE article. Very badly written all throughout. The entire thing reads like a smug, self-centered, opinion article about the author's opinion of the game, using every other sentence to make up his own imaginary "facts" that have no resources cited or research indicated. It uses most of it's tone in extremely biased, weasel-worded fashion from one author's point of view. It keeps on saying things like "Everyone agrees that this is the best game of it's kind" and "the magic in this mode comes from the wonderful way this was done" or "Clearly this mode was done very well" or "Most people agree that this mode suffered from this thing that people didn't like." This is unacceptable. Wikipedia articles are for facts. They aren't for one author's egotistical ranting and singular "review" of the game. Wikipedia is not a review site. It's an encyclopedic fact site. This entire article should be deleted outright and re-written entirely from scratch.

Irelevent Information?

[edit]

Personally, I think all the talk about Warzone in the History section is a bit, well, irelevent to the article? It may fit into a "Comparison to Contemporary Wrestling Games" or "Critical Reaction" section or something, but it doesn't really have too much to do with the history of this game. Any thoughts? Managers

[edit]

Should it be mentioned that you can activate a manager if you use the 3rd or forth controller port? It says they are non-playable characters but they are semi-playable.

A 1999 Article?

[edit]

The article says something to the effect of "a 1999 article by IGN confirms this as the best-selling wrestling game of all time". Can we get a more recent source to confirm that it remains such even after all of the SvRs have come out? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JY23 (talkcontribs) 22:51, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
