The result of the move request was: moved. Moved to St Paul's School for Girls, Birmingham and St. Paul's School for Girls (Maryland) via consensus in compromise, WP:CONSISTENCY, and WP:QUALIFIER. The participants are correct that place names are usually disambiguated with a comma. However, per WP:QUALIFIER, that is for administrative divisions, such as "Egbaston, Birmingham," not "Building in Birmingham, Birmingham," In this instance, consistency with the other school names per the proposal trumps. If you disagree or see this as a WP:SUPERVOTE, feel free to ask me to reopen on my talk page and I would be happy to do so. Necrothesp has convinced me that the DAB delimiter comma has a local consensus in birmingham school names trumping WP:CONSiSTENCY and thus this should be respected. Changing the school name for the birmingham school to be comma delimited. (closed by non-admin page mover) — Shibbolethink (♔ ♕) 18:16, 8 September 2021 (UTC) {edited 11:03, 10 September 2021 (UTC))
- St. Paul's School for Girls → St. Paul's School for Girls (Maryland)
- St Paul's School for Girls → St Paul's School for Girls (Egbaston)
– These two articles have ambiguous titles and the presence/absence of a period/full stop is insufficient to provide effective disambigation. There is no primary topic by usage (see [1]) so after the moves, I suggest that St. Paul's School for Girls becomes a 2-entry disambiguation page, with St Paul's School for Girls redirecting to it, with a "See also" entry for St Paul's Girls' School. The disambiguator for the first article is chosen to be consistent with St. Paul's School (Maryland). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 13:33, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support but I'd consider using St Paul's School for Girls, Birmingham per Category:Secondary schools in Birmingham, West Midlands since the standard in England is generally a comma and using the city rather than suburb will probably be more useful to the average reader than the suburb. - Support, but use St Paul's School for Girls, Birmingham as above. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:54, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
