The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The result of the move request was: No move due to lack of support even after relisting. I suggest references in English WP:RS be found to help determine the WP:COMMONNAME for this topic. But if the suggested dearth of such RS is accurate, also consider the notice on this article which says, "If notability cannot be established, the article is likely to be merged, redirected, or deleted." Neither of these links is written in fluent English that might indicate the term is in common use. Using "prosthesis" in this sense, while I understand what it means if I consider it a metaphor, is quite irregular. The words would appear to be false friends. Given the lack of sources, I recommend merging to Częstochowa#Transport, the only incoming link, and a location where this rail line has context. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 23:00, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I wish for an editing tool that I can use to set reminders for myself. Any ideas if one exists? --SmokeyJoe (talk) 00:26, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not specific to Wikipedia, but you could use Google Calendar or something like it to set a reminder for yourself. I was going to suggest merging at the open AfD but I didn't have a target in mind, but it does kind of seem like the best outcome. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 00:34, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
A merge to Częstochowa#Transport sounds good. The translation 'prosthesis' sounds bizarre. Something like 'Koniecpol connector' could be more idiomatic in American usage. The existing article on the line is very short and it would be hard to justify as a freestanding article, without more sources. EdJohnston (talk) 04:00, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@EdJohnston 'Proteza' is an idiom here. Source: I am Polish. I agree with you that it should not be translated literally. Does 'Koniecpol crutch' sound idiomatic to you? MCiura (talk) 11:48, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
WP:COMMONNAME advises us to pick the phrase that is most commonly used in English. It is possible that English-language sources don't mention this railway enough for a standard name to be developed. If there is no established English phrase for describing it, we could either keep 'Proteza koniecpolska' as the name, or pick some generic description that names the cities it is connecting. I hope that the article will specify whether the redesigned line is now complete, or if there is more work to do. It looks like there is a lot of material in pl:Proteza koniecpolska that might still be translated. EdJohnston (talk) 17:06, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
