I found pics!

[edit]

I found scans of gameplay from the magazine Coro Coro here. Not sure if they could be included, but... ~Crowstar~ 23:10, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

North America?

[edit]

I know it's unconfirmed, but do you think that it'll be released in North America?--Mrperson777 22:01, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely. There's never been a pokemon game released in Japan unreleased here. ~Crowstar~ 22:07, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Except for the second TCG game. - A Link to the Past (talk) 23:02, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And also Pokemon Green and Pokemon Stadium 3. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Halo123spartan (talkcontribs) 22:45, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, but that didn't have a lot of an audience, though. ~Crowstar~ 23:03, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe March or April 2008? Pikachu125 (talk) 17:50, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, pokemon green is a paralell of our pokemon blue, and the Japanese blue is a paraleel of yellow.204.147.20.1 (talk) 22:38, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There's a Japanese Blue? --QuackOfaThousandSuns (talk) 02:28, 4 June 2008 (UTC) Yes. Yes there is QOATS. Arceus493 (talk) 23:29, 8 July 2009 (UTC)HGvs.SS[reply]

Posting info.

[edit]

Well, I found info on serebii.net but everytime I write it it gets written of as a terrible game guide. So I'm asking someone who has experience,(I'm new I used to just edited by my IP Adress) to write it. Thank you in advance.Msync007 21:21, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Source?

[edit]

Do we have a source for the third paragraph? Especially the part involving the legendaries and how Celebi and Mewtwo are version exclusive to Time and Darkness, respectively. I do admit, having them as exclusives would make the names make sense, but I'm still having a hard time believing it.Leprechaun Gamer 17:36, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking the same thing. How 'bout we remove it? CrowstarCrow callsTalon Marks 10:29, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like a good idea. I'll remove it.Leprechaun Gamer 12:17, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is a source serebii.net. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Msync007 (talkcontribs) 22:54, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Except we can't use serebii. -_-; CrowstarCrow callsTalon Marks 22:48, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why not? Why remove information from people? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Halo123spartan (talkcontribs) 22:46, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could we cite Nintendo's official guide for the exclusive content? (And yes, it is true. Both can be found in their respective games in the Final Maze.) man0fbass 03:37, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Proof of NA release?

[edit]

I noticed that the release date on the article says "January 18, 2008". Does anyone have OFFICIAL proof of the release date, or did some joker just slap it on? 75.134.82.172 (talk) 20:37, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And earlier I thought it said March 08. I don't think any real date has been decided, otherwise serebii.net and/or bulbapedia would have said it. Toastypk (talk) 23:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
One thing worries me: What if the Japanese decide not to release it here? I liked the first Mystery Dungeon, why can't we get the sequel?! 75.134.82.172 (talk) 01:57, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Explorers of Time/Darkness or Time/Darkness Exploration

[edit]

Before I saw this as Exploration but now it's Explorers of. Was the old one a translation and the new one official? 66.32.223.240 (talk) 02:12, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the old article name was an unofficial translation, while the current article name is the official title. --Silver Edge (talk) 02:27, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Which cover is which?

[edit]

Which cover is Time and which is Darkness? 66.32.223.240 (talk) 02:14, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think darkness is darker. Pikachu125 (talk) 16:42, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Specials

[edit]

I think that in Team Go-Getters' Squirtle is supposed to be Ash, in Mystery Dungeon form, along with Piplup in Mystery Dungeon 2 being Dawn. I don't know if these are true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.184.165.5 (talk) 21:37, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm... No, I think it would be a Pikachu if Ash turned into a Pokémon. 204.147.20.1 (talk) 22:40, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ash has already become a Pikachu once before. Just check YouTube and search for "Ashachu", "Satochu", or "Ashchu". WPA 14:23, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

But the piplup was male.65.223.58.226 (talk) 19:36, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

u have to beat the main story and do the scizor rescue mission (blizzard island and crevice cave). u guys have to change that! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.189.153.102 (talk) 22:07, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not with Maze cave; you just have to beat Chapter 10. 65.223.58.226 (talk) 23:27, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plot summary

[edit]

The plot summary in this article is mind-bogglingly large and, to those like me who know nothing about Pokemon, completely incomprehensible. The film guideline for plot summaries suggests a summary between 400 to 700 words, never exceeding 900 - this article's is 4700 words, which is absurdly long. There are short stories shorter than the plot summary in this article. It needs to a) be cut down to an appropriate style, rather than provide a blow-by-blow of every event in the game, and b) needs to be rewritten so it's more understandable without knowing hte universe. Vlcice (talk) 21:08, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Main characters is ridiculously large as well. -Sukecchi (talk) 22:59, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, it appears someone wrote this while playing the game. First, a lot of details must be removed so the basics of the story will be left, then we can build on that. Moccamonster Talk 13:38, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It appears as if the entire plot section, if not the entire article, has just been copied/pasted from it's Bulbapedia entry. I'll get to work on cleaning it up and making it more suitable for the Wiki later today. TheChrisD RantsEdits 07:41, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I also decided to conclude that celebi is a close friend of grovyle,as she shows it in the game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.208.146.5 (talk) 15:13, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Team Raider

[edit]

Team Raider joining you and giving you Marine Resort is maybe the most bizarre thing I've ever seen- for one, Manaphy gives you Marine Resort, and for two, Team Raider does jack-shit besides stand on the beach and rant about Wigglytuff.

If someone can give me some proof otherwise, fine, but until then it's just wrong.

Does Team Raider even appear in the game? Or is it Darkness only, because I have Time, so do they take the place of team Charms? Also- Who is the team on the cover of Darkness? I know Time has AWD. 65.223.58.226 (talk) 23:29, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a forum, people...
To answer your question, yes they do appear in the game once you have completed all elements of the storyline, as far as I know. You can find them on the beach "rescuing" Dugtrio. Team Charm appear in both games. TheChrisD RantsEdits 08:13, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hints

[edit]

I think that the article might be better if a part about hints or something like that was added. Many people would aprreciate it I think. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.28.58.243 (talk) 17:49, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want hints for the game, use Google to find a hints/cheats site... TheChrisD RantsEdits 10:54, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't Erase the Basic Details

[edit]

What's left currently gives little, if any, information about the plot, about what happens to the player and all that. I would work on the compaction if I could, but I won't have enough time. RageAgainstTheWikiMachine (Pen name of Mydoctor93) 13:01, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this plot section was unencyclopedic, surely other Pokemon game plots need revisions? (Like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 1) RageAgainstTheWikiMachine (Pen name of Mydoctor93) 13:01, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I've got the former version of the plot on my sandbox, which can be accessed through my userpage. If anyone can try to paraphrase the plot, please do. Thank you. RageAgainstTheWikiMachine (Pen name of Mydoctor93) 13:13, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Section dominating article

[edit]

These two arcs are completely overloading the article by going into absolute depth about the games story. I think it needs to be boiled down just to its key events, and not a word for word detail on all of the cutscenes in the game. Key things like Human becoming pokémon, becoming explorers, discovering the planet's paralysis, stopping the paralysis is enough. --86.6.117.26 (talk) 13:43, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I'll try to trim it down some. The one on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 1 could use trimming as well. Mokoniki | talk 13:52, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I edited some of it, and completely removed the Aftermath Arcs. A good explanation of the main story is just about all that is needed, but that still needs editing too. Mokoniki | talk 14:39, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I did my best. Feel free to remove anything else. Mokoniki | talk 22:11, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
