This new series should be called as "Pocket Monsters: Sword and Shield".

This season DOES NOT follow the first adventures of Ash Ketchum

[edit]

Right in the description of the 2nd episode wefind this: "After returning to Kanto from Alola having won the Manalo Conference, Satoshi" - so it is a direct continuation, Ash is 20+ years old, walking around with 10 year old females, having relationships with them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:AB88:373C:3080:61D9:7F04:EE78:7A39 (talk) 08:28, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Final part of English dub?

[edit]

Multiple places have stated that Part 4 of Pokémon Journeys: The Series (arrived on Netflix March 5th) is the final part, however, there are still more episodes being aired on Tokyo TV, correct? Does this mean the episodes after Part 4 will not be dubbed? 2600:1700:DA60:E010:CC61:F9C7:AA78:DE33 (talk) 19:08, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sobbing Sobble possible reference to Mystery Dungeon?

[edit]

I feel like the pairs of Pokémon that Team Rocket get in each episode have some sort of connection. Sobbing Sobble is one of my favorite episodes because it features Armaldo, who happens to be one of my favorite Pokémon, and I haven't seen an episode with Armaldo in it since Where's Armaldo?, but I couldn't watch Where's Armaldo? anymore as R&S was stripped off of Prime Video all of a sudden.

Anyways, alongside Armaldo, Team Rocket also got Magnezone. I originally thought it was a little past/future connection, Armaldo being a fossil Pokémon and Magnezone being UFO-esque and futuristic. Funny enough, the episode itself was aired before Scarlet/Violet was even announced, which has a past and future theme (is it funny UNDEAD came on my playlist?).

Either way, I just played a little bit of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky because I wanted to see Armaldo in it. Sadly I didn't get to the chapter that has the Igglybuff story. But I thought it was funny that Magnezone was the police and Armaldo was a long-time criminal. So I think Sobbing Sobble either referenced Explorers of Sky or just had that past/future theme.

See Wikipedia:No original research. While this is an interesting theory, unless it's sourced to a reliable citation, we can't add it to the article, since these are only observations and not something that has been directly described in academic, scholarly, or journalistic sources. Apologies, but I hope this clears things up a bit. Has one ever considered Magneton? Pokelego999 (talk) 17:27, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
True. I didn't do any research on it and just made the connection myself. I'm not a reliable source if I don't do my research.
