"Mother's Daughter"

[edit]

Cyrus said that this song wasn't the lead single from this album and that a song from the upcoming two EPs will be the album's lead single. Should we remove it and say "Mother's Daughter" only promotes She Is Coming. Billiekhalidfan (talk) 18:47, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No.—NØ 05:42, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Well could you explain why? Songs normally don't promote more than one album and Cyrus explicitly stated that this isn't the album's lead single. Billiekhalidfan (talk) 12:09, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Compilation album?

[edit]

Miley Cyrus confirmed in an interview that this isn't an actual album, it's a "project". The interviewer said: "Let's talk about this project... This is a project, it's not an actual like a album?", then Cyrus agrees "Right." A project isn't an actual type of album, but the closest is a compilation. Especially because it's collecting songs that will already be released (the three EPs), so there isn't new content on the album. I think this will be a similar situation to Robyn's Body Talk series, where it will be three mini albums that are each albums in their own right, collected into a separate album that also stands on its own.Gagaluv1 (talk) 23:33, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
