[edit]Monster Truck Madness 64 should NOT be merged with this wiki article.
Monster Truck Madness 1 and Monster Truck Madness 2 are related games. Monster Truck Madness 64 is not. It has nothing to do with the first, it was not developed by the same company and was not commissioned by microsoft. It's played on a game console, not on a PC. While there are similarities in the titles the three games have nothing in common. They do not belong on the same page and should receive completely separate treatment.
However, I will acknowledge that because each game deals with the subject of monster trucks then it would be understandable if a link to each was included in the other's 'related' links area.
Note. If Monster Truck Madness 64 was to be merged with mtm1 and mtm2 then it would follow that you should also merge the two games 4x4 Evolution and 4x4 Evolution 2 with this article as well... since they 'were' developed by the same software company and in fact use the same game engine and can even run some mtm tracks. However, that would be wrong too since the two 4x4 Evolution game titles are not monster truck games, they do not share the same game physics, the publisher was godgames (not microsoft) and in fact the developer was seeking to distance themselves from their earlier work. If the purpose of a wiki is clarity of thought, ideas and understanding, then it is imperative that MTM64 be kept separate and distinct from MTM1 and MTM2 and that Evo1 and Evo2 be kept separate from them as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.8.174.158 (talk • contribs) 06:24, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

- Article meets DYK expansion requirements, length is good, hooks are cited inline and verified. Currently unable to check for close paraphrasing as Earwigs is currently having technical issues. A QPQ was done but not necessary as this is the nominator's first nom. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:54, 5 March 2020 (UTC)

Hello. I'll start the review here. First, I think the lead may need to be at least two to three paragraphs as per WP:LEADSECTION (so far, it's about 23,905). There was also one citation that's already dead, but it's all fixed up. I'll continue reading the article and assess some of the sections before giving a final rating. Drive-by comment (appropriately enough): The truck Samson is only mentioned in an image caption. Although it makes sense to only list those of the game's twelve trucks that have Wikipedia articles (which I think is what's being done in "Gameplay"), it might make sense to include the other eight in a footnote. --Usernameunique (talk) 01:28, 31 March 2020 (UTC)

01:45, 31 March 2020 (UTC)- Okay, now I implemented your suggestion into the article with this footnote:
Other monster trucks include Bear Foot, Boogey Van, Carolina Crusher, Monster Patrol, Overkill, Power Wheels Bigfoot, Rampage, Samson, and Wildfoot.

4x4 Evo
[edit]@2nd Ias: Does 4x4 Evo have any relation to this game? If so, I think that it should be more clearly explained. If not, it should probably have mention cut as it appears rather awkward and unrelated. --TheSandDoctor Talk 05:29, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
