Q1: Why doesn't this article have more information on blocks/crafting/mobs/entities/mods than it does?
A1: Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, nor is it a how-to guide. Articles should strive to present a broad overview of their subjects. Video game articles in particular try to describe general mechanics and gameplay instead of specific details. This helps to keep the article accessible to readers who may not otherwise be familiar with Minecraft.
Q2: Why doesn't this article show the prices?
A2:Wikipedia is not a directory. Product prices should not be quoted in an article unless they can be sourced and there is a justified reason for their mention. In general, if mainstream media sources (not just product reviews) provide commentary on the price of an object instead of just passing mention, this is an indication that its price may have encyclopedic significance. Prices listed by individual vendors, on the other hand, can vary widely from place to place and over time. Wikipedia is not a price comparison service to be used to compare the prices of competing products, or the prices of a single product from different vendors.

Wikipedia is not a strategy guide or instruction manual. Wikipedia articles should focus on the games themselves, not on how to play them; they should not contain tips, tricks, or cheat codes. That information is available elsewhere (such as on our sister project, Wikibooks), in printed guides and online, and does not belong in an encyclopedia entry. Please do not add your own hints or opinions of the game.Verifiable content about the history, design, and overall description of the game is welcome. The following references may be useful when improving this article in the future:
The game was first publicly released as an alpha, not a beta, and only became a beta later on, however the article keeps referencing it's alpha releases as a "public beta". While this is a more well known concept, public alphas also exist, and the game was most definitely an alpha both in it's stage of development, and in how it was referenced and marketed.

Please change "The end can be accessed trough underground portals" to "The end can be accessed trough portals that are generated in underground strongholds, which can be located by throwing an eye of ender and following its trail, until it sinks to the ground." Partly done: Expanded upon your statement and cited a reputable source (IGN) to support this information. I do not feel this coverage violates WP:NOTGUIDE since The End is an important and well-covered gameplay element of Minecraft. KnowledgeIsPower9281 (talk) 00:47, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
but did you know that even if you can do anything you want there are some limitations like if in a online server you do some thing like make stuff that are very distubing or not very appropriet for kids you can get banned.
Not done. The game began development in 2009, but it was not officially released until 2011. Therefore, that is what the article uses. λNegativeMP121:16, 18 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
