This page currently reads a bit like a technical magazine article and needs cleanup -there is jargon ("spec") and acronyms are unexplained and not wikilinked. I got rid of the (sic) after the AMEI name-it's condescending. Oscillon (talk) 22:26, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I simply removed the "IEEE p1639 is now a dead project..." paragraph, and the following "IEEE P1639 is not a dead project..." paragraph. They were contradictory (obviously), and provided no useful information to the reader.Masmit (talk) 13:15, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
