Talk:MDA framework
Citations
[edit]Hello, I have just added a few sentences and citations (see References) to MDA framework. Please take a moment to review my edit. Can we remove the issue that "This article does not cite any sources. (July 2018)", or additional work is still needed? Raku97 (talk) 03:43, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
"Consumption" sentence was wrong
[edit]I changed the text that said MDA "formalizes the consumption of games." That's a misunderstanding of what MDA is and probably happened because the person read a line from the paper without reading the next line immediately after it. The "consumption" parts correspond to the "designer" parts, the whole reason MDA exists is for the design perspective ("counterparts" in the paper) and to link those to the player experience for the complete understanding. The paper's abstract makes this very clear where they say the goal is "understanding" games not anything exclusive to "consumption." — Preceding unsigned comment added by RandomEditor6772314 (talk • contribs) 15:18, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
