The result of the move request was: moved. Consensus that the proposed romanization is best aligned with WP:NCKO, as it is the established English name and the subject's personal preference. (closed by non-admin page mover) ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 14:35, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
Lee Myung-woo → Lee Myoungwoo – name misspelled, missing an "o" 2600:1700:7CC0:9050:D08:5D8D:8DE8:7362 (talk) 22:58, 25 September 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). – robertsky (talk) 03:42, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- This looks more like an alternate transliteration issue than a straight-up misspelling, but I confess I know nothing about Hangul transliteration. Edward-Woodrow • talk 23:54, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
- It appears that 'Lee Myoung-woo', with the hyphenated given name, is the transliteration used by the person themselves on their website. Remsense (talk) 23:55, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
- Should be Lee Myoung-woo per WP:NCKO#Given name as there is a personal preferences and established English spelling. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 02:28, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

- Looks like there is enough uncertainty about the title that a discussion seems appropriate. Mdewman6 (talk) 02:52, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

Support Lee Myoung-wooas Myoung-woo / Myoungwoo / Myoung Woo seems common enough, and the "Myung-woo" status quo also isn't a standardized transliteration to begin with. I would retain the hyphen for lack of clear justification to change that aspect of it but I'd support Lee Myoungwoo too. Adumbrativus (talk) 09:36, 28 September 2023 (UTC)- I'm part of Director Lee Myoungwoo's management team at B&C Content. He asked us to request this correction to his name spelling. His personal preference is to spell the name without a hyphen, as seen in entertainment databases and trades like IMDB, IMDB Pro as well as a recent Variety article.

- IMDB Pro: https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm4955171/?ref_=instant_nm_1&q=lee%20myoungwoo
- Recent Variety article: https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/caa-fiery-priest-showrunner-lee-myoungwoo-1235187425/.

- Thanks. I'm happy to support Lee Myoungwoo as first choice. Adumbrativus (talk) 02:19, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- Support as it seems to be the correct name he uses, imv Atlantic306 (talk) 21:33, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
