ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:23, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hi Mdewman6. Thank you for your work on 2,4-dihydroxybenzenecarbonal. Another editor, MPGuy2824, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

I closed the RFD as retarget, as the original target was obviously incorrect and the chemical is discussed in another article. But then I got curious, and found doi:10.1128/AAC.00100-12 as renewed interest in it. Do you think it's enough to write a stub that you thought a redlink would encourage? DMacks (talk) 10:47, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
- @DMacks: Sure, I would support a stub. It seems like there is enough literature to support notability. Mdewman6 (talk) 20:30, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
Officers' Row moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Officers' Row. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Warm Regards, Miminity (Talk?) (me contribs) 12:13, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
FYI
[edit]If you tag a redirect for RfD but the logpage is on a previous day, you need to add |days=1
(or however many days back it is) to {{RfD}}, else the link won't work (and 'zinbot won't patrol it, which is where I come in). -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 07:14, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
Niacin → Nicotinic acid
[edit]Hello, you might want to check: Talk:Niacin#Requested move 15 December 2024
"Niacin" renaming to "Nicotinic acid"
Thanks :) -- Arthurfragoso (talk) 20:03, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
