[edit]If someone has the time, A LOT of good biographical information can be gleaned from J. William Lloyd's own biography which is listed as a link and can be found here http://www.zetetics.com/mac/blog/00000933.html
Some of the topics that can be gleaned from his own biography include more information about his education, the correct names of some of the health colonies he was part of, including his final home in Roscoe, California (now Sun Valley, CA) called Freedom Hill.
I will add some links to other great sources as I have time.
Okay, here is a good place to find a couple photos of Lloyd and info on a biography called Chatting with J. William Lloyd, a 1934 biography by Robert P. Beck that discusses Lloyd's medical work, writings, association with a spiritualist commune in Florida, and friends and acquaintances. It also contains photos and a bibliography of Lloyd's writings. It is located in the The Joseph A. Labadie Collection, one of the oldest collections of radical history in the United States at the University of Michigan http://www.lib.umich.edu/spec-coll/labadie/labadiemanuscripts.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by Barefootted (talk • contribs) 01:42, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
