Will review over the weekend. IceWelder [] 22:02, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lead
  • Extend the link to the novel to "the 1997 novel of the same name" per WP:OFTHESAMENAME.
  • "with the PlayStation and Game Boy Color versions, and received mixed reviews" - Faux Oxford comma. Consider: "with the PlayStation and Game Boy Color versions to mixed reviews".
Gameplay
  • The screenshot caption should describe what is happening on it. Saying that the screenshot is a screenshot is redundant.
  • "The game takes place from a top-down perspective" -> "The game is viewed from a top-down perspective"
  • "d-pad" -> "D-pad".
  • "newly-learned" -> "newly learned"
  • "save their game's progress" -> "save their game" or "save their progress"; maybe link to Saved game.
  • "through a series of rings in order to catch the Snitch" -> "through a series of rings to catch it".
Plot
  • "11 years later" - Numerals at the start of sentences are frowned upon. Consider rephrasing.
  • Link curfew.
  • "before they go to rescue Hermione" - Rescue from what?
  • "soothed with music, and that Nicolas Flamel is involved" - Enumeration of two, so remove the comma.
  • Linked with elixir.
  • "in the adjacent forest, and encounters a figure" - Faux comma.
Development and release
  • "At E3 2001, Electronic Arts showcased its license to publish" - Assuming they didn't hold up the papers on stage, "announced" may be a better word.
  • "under the creative direction of Amaze Entertainment" - Why/how was Amaze involved?
  • "The game was designed by Stephen C. Nguyen and Jim Verhaeghe, and Randy Briley served as lead artist." -> "Stephen C. Nguyen and Jim Verhaeghe designed the game with Randy Briley as lead artist."
  • Move the source after "Michael Humes," to the end of the sentence. It's just two, so it works fine.
  • "summarizes the novel's first 100 pages" - Should this be mentioned in the plot section? Currently, the plot section does not make clear which story segments are retold and which are played.
  • "The audio was created by Mark Yeend, Drew Cady, and Ian Rodia, who used licensed tools from Factor 5." -> "Mark Yeend, Drew Cady, and Ian Rodia produced the audio using tools licensed from Factor 5."
  • "The game was released" - Somewhere around here, it should be mentioned that all three (four?) versions of the game were shipped in bulk to verify that statement from the lead.
Reception
  • "as a fan of the book series, and figured that it would" - Faux comma.
  • Spell out "AI" and introduce the short form then.
  • "Dan Elektro" is Dan Amrich.
  • "Allgame" -> "AllGame".
  • "to the book and film's story" - Since the film is based on the book, this reads weirdly. Maybe "to the source material"?
  • Consider breaking the paragraph before "Miller respected the direction".
  • "with reviewers praising the smooth animation" - Using a note solely to tuck away five refs seems strange. You could either cut down on the number of refs used there or fill the note with some text like "Reviewers liking the animation included A,[1] B,[2] ... and Z.[26]".
  • "as if the artists actually digitized Alan Rickman" - Maybe clarify that he was the actor who played in the movies.
Reception -> Sales
  • "Between January 2000 and August 2006" - Since the game was only released in November 2001, tracking from January 2000 seems redundant. Maybe go for "Until August 2006" instead.
  • Use a non-breaking space ({{nbsp}}) for the monetary figure.
  • "36th highest-selling" -> "36th-highest-selling".
  • "game launched for the" - "launched" seems redundant here.
References
  • Optional, but in my opinion, you don't need the "Citations" header.
  • "Electronic Arts Staff" is a generic author that is better removed.
  • Add a |trans-title= for the French-language source.
Other
  • You end up not linking the other game versions. You could, for example, list them in a "See also" section.
