[edit]There seems to be some confusion over where Carr is actually from. This article says he was born in Sugar Land, TX, then the family moved to Fresno, CA. Then, it suddenly says that he moved "back to Bakersfield, CA." Back? That makes no sense? Can someone help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:644:8400:F742:8B4:F371:A7A7:8FC (talk) 18:27, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

– Far and away the primary topic, and only 2 dabs. The page views for the American football player average nearly twice as many views in a single day than the soccer player's page views in the entire past year.[1] Lizard (talk) 23:26, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
- Agree rename and move It seems that a page about a current franchise NFL QB would be more relevant than a stub page about a deceased soccer player. Jake —Preceding undated comment added 20:55, 11 October 2016 (UTC)

All suggested changes are in the second paragraph of the section "2022 season."
Change "will" to "would" in "Carr and the Raiders agreed that he will step away..."
Change "11" to "eleven" in "Nine of the 11 losses for the Raiders were by one possession..." [1]
Change "...which Carr was around for ten of them" to "...with Carr playing in ten of those losses."
Remove unnecessary comma in "The Raiders became the first team in NFL history to lose five games where they had double-digit, second-half leads." Teachermike207 (talk) 00:52, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

One question.
[edit]Um, are you sure Derek Carr was born in Bakersfield, CA? Because where he went to school says otherwise. He went to school in Fresno, so wouldn't it make sense to say he was born in Fresno? Huanas (talk) 21:33, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- People don't necessarily go to school in the town they were born in. Hey man im josh (talk) 01:26, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
Residence
[edit]Does Carr still reside in the Southern Highlands community in the southern foothills of the Las Vegas Valley, since he now plays for the Saints? Either way, some or all of the paragraph should be deleted. Alielmi1207 (talk) 23:30, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
