Articuno's Gender, Beauty, etc.

[edit]

I am sick and tired of people spamming up the article saying that Pikachu and Charizard have a crush on Articuno, thinking it was like a beautiful girl. Sure, in the Battle Frontier, it has a feminine sounding voice, but Pokémon can still be female (like my Onix and my Swampert 0_o). And according to the games, Articuno is GENDERLESS. It may be beautiful, but how can you tell Pikachu and Charizard think that if all they can say are roars and "Pika Pika!"? Shadoman 11:56, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some people just watch the shows and are unfamiliar with the games, so NEWS FLASH! Latios and Latias are the ONLY Legendary Pokemon that aren't androgynous. As I've said on the Pikachu TP, voice and voice actor has little bearing on gender. -Jeske (v^_^v) 17:45, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody keeps vandalizing the anime section, saying that it's Pikachu's best friend, etc. This madness has got to stop! Shadoman 10:06, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

THe template things?

[edit]

Unless this is some kind of prank, someone needs to fix the sections up.71.193.102.79 22:13, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not, and I'll get to them. The templates that were in use for the headings are up for deletion.-Jeske (v^_^v) 23:17, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Opening paragraph

[edit]

The first paragraph describes what a Pokemon is. If you want to know what a Pokemon is, find the article on Pokemon. Writing the first paragraph about what Pokemon are is irrelevant. Darkren91 10:10, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, everyone reading should already know what a Pokemon is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pikavoom (talkcontribs) 07:19, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

I propose to merge Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres into Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Similarly to Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam I think that the content in the Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres articles can easily be explained in the same context, and the existing articles are of a reasonable size that the merging will not cause any problems as far as article size is concerned. ~ Arkhandar (message me) 01:25, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I feel as if doing as such, due do the three bird's different nature and typing, it would cause issues with categorization and classification.(Oinkers42) (talk) 03:22, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
They aren't the same. Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam evolve into each other, with rising power, and are closely linked in naming.--Pikavoom (talk) 07:40, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New page image

[edit]

I found a new page image encompassing the three of them if everyone wants it to be added. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Legendary_birds_Dream.png (Oinkers42) (talk) 19:00, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
