Qomesh (Persian: قمش)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Itivand-e Jonubi Rural District of Itivand District, Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Kahriz-e Varvasht.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 596 in 100 households, when it was in Kakavand District.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 641 people in 140 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 546 people in 135 households.[2]

In 2022, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Itivand District.[4]
