Olivia Joanna Bailey (born 1986 in Reading, Berkshire) and known informally as Liv,[1][self-published source] is a British politician who has been the Member of Parliament for the newly-formed Reading West and Mid Berkshire constituency since 2024.[2][3]

A member of the Labour Party, Bailey flipped the former Reading West constituency seat from the Conservative Party.[4][5][6] she previously ran for the former Reading West constituency in 2017 against Alok Sharma but was unsuccessful.[7]

Born in Reading to a policeman father and a local teacher mother, Bailey has been Chair of the Labour Women's Network, deputy General Secretary of the Fabian Society, and a senior aide to Sir Keir Starmer, before standing as a parliamentary candidate.[3]

Bailey is openly LGBT+.[8]
