Ammonium hexafluororhenate is an inorganic chemical compound with the chemical formula (NH4)2ReF6.[1]
Synthesis
[edit]The compound is produced from the corresponding potassium salt by ion-exchange procedure.[2]
Physical properties
[edit]Ammonium hexafluororhenate forms crystals of the hexagonal system, space group P3m1.[3] It is soluble in water.[4]
When heated, the compound decomposes to the black nitride fluoride, ReNF.[5]
