My one-click archiving links have disappeared
[edit]I have used Technical 13's one-click archiver for many many years, but now the links to archive have disappeared from view on any talkpage or board that I visit. What happened, and how do I get it back? Softlavender (talk) 04:19, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Softlavender: Very likely, you've already found the answer elsewhere. If not, see User:Evad37/OneClickArchiver and the associated TP. I fixed mine like this. ―Mandruss ☎ 00:31, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- The Technical13 one click archiver was disabled by interface administrators because it was too buggy and was requiring cleanup from botched archiving. All former users of the script are encouraged to switch to the less buggy User:Evad37/OneClickArchiver. Hope that makes sense. –Novem Linguae (talk) 08:47, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, thanks both of you. I did figure this out pretty quickly but forgot to notify here that I had done so. This thread can be closed out or archived if needed. Softlavender (talk) 02:02, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
Hmm, I haven't been able to see archive links for ~couple weeks now. I don't think I've changed any settings. Anyone else? ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:43, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- Another Believer, per User:Another Believer/common.js you're currently using User:Evad37/OneClickArchiver.js. After recent changes in HTML layout many scripts stopped working. This includes Evad37's OneClickArchiver.
- It is recommended to uninstall this script and instead install one of the up-to-date fixed scripts listed on the page Wikipedia:One click archiving. —andrybak (talk) 16:46, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Andrybak Thank you, I will look into this. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:22, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

Blanked scripts
[edit]User:Technical 13/Scripts/OneClickArchiver has been blanked in Special:Diff/1181689716. Should it still be listed on Wikipedia:One click archiving? If not removed from the list, it could be struck out, for example. —andrybak (talk) 18:31, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
- Strikethrough sounds like a good compromise. Done –Novem Linguae (talk) 20:46, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
Remove clear template when archiving
[edit]I am requesting to remove {{clear}} above a discussion when using User:Evad37/OneClickArchiver.js'e archiving tool. Qwerty284651 (talk) 14:52, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
- That's what I think @FlightTime's fork does. He later removed that from the description for some reason though. Aaron Liu (talk) 21:02, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Qwerty284651 and Aaron Liu: I removed it because I didn't think it was necessary, however later I saw the reason for it, I think it started the new section after the last character in the previous section. - FlightTime (open channel) 14:28, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
