To-do

[edit]
  • Create lists of ministers for all ministries
In progress:
A complete list of ministers has been included on the Minister for Culture (Greece) page.
I have the names of all ministers from the 1890s and am in the process of formatting them for inclusion to Wikipedia. As ministries had plenty of ministers, I'm thinking of creating distinct pages entitled List of Ministers for Justice of Greece etc, i.e. keeping these seperate from the Wikipedia page on Minister for Justice (Greece).--Damac 14:54, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Completed
List of foreign ministers of Greece (1899–present)--Damac 17:50, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
List of defence ministers of Greece (1899–present)--Damac 21:36, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Detail the composition of every Greek cabinet on the pages of Greek prime ministers
In progress:
This has been done for Georgios Theotokis. I create a table specifically for this purpose.--Damac 14:54, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Insert succession boxes for all political offices on existing biographical articles
  • Create articles for all historic Greek political parties
In progress:
Russian Party (Greece)
New Party (Greece)
KKE Interior
  • Complete the details on historic Elections in Greece
  • Tag the articles within the scope of the task force with the Project and the Task Force banner. This will enable us to group them, assess them and further improve them
  • Create articles on each of the parliamentary constituencies of Greece, which will include lists of electoral results and MPs.
In progress:I've created a list of constituencies, which at present link to all the relevant prefectures. As each article is started, the list should be edited accordingly.--Damac 17:03, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Created Kefalonia (constituency). What do people think?--Damac 21:57, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In progress:Members of the Greek Parliament, 2007---Damac 19:13, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Problems/issues

[edit]

Fair use images on templates

[edit]

Today I had this message from Durin: "Please do not add fair use tagged images (such as those tagged with logo) to templates ... This is proscribed by Wikipedia:Fair use criteria item #9." and I answered him that " think for better appereance and comprehencion of the results is better to have the logo of each party (especially if they are many ecological parties with similar names)".

Probably we will forced to remove the Parties' logos although I disagree. Please write me your opinion of what you should do. -- Magioladitis 23:30, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is this: for some reason, seperate template pages were created for each election result and then included in the relevant article on that election. There was no reason for this to be done. Only one template is needed for Greek elections; it should be empty and serve as a template for people wishing to compile election results.
What we have to do is go through all the election results pages, find the templates, cut and paste the text from these and insert them into the elections results pages proper. The empty templates should then be deleted.
I suggest that User:Yannismarou do the cutting and pasting as he provided most of the information in them.--Damac 08:30, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Is the problem going to be solved like that? If yes, I have no problem doing that. Just give me one or two days and I'll do the necessary copy-pasting.--Yannismarou 10:36, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think so. I checked the rules on for templates and it state that no fair use images be included in them. I'll transfer the templates that I created, and you do the ones you did. I wanted to do it this way so that the people who researched the electoral information in the first place get some kind of credit for it. Katalaves?--195.74.250.193 11:21, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok!--Yannismarou 11:31, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Modernist Party? Liberal Party? New Party? We should discuss how to translate some of the more obscure party names. See this discussion and please join in. Talk:Modernist Party
